Giant wings. Amazing cauliflower appetizer. Caesar salad had way too much dressing on it, couldn't eat it. But the highlight of my visit was my server Abby. She was so beyond sweet, treating me with such kindness even though I was there by myself. Would come back just to be served by her again. Thank you Abby!! read more

My friend and I only tried the chicken here so I can't speak to the rest of the (frankly massive) menu, but the chicken was amazing. Breading was crispy and flavorful, sauces were house made and on point, and the chicken was high quality and moist. 100% would come here again. Definitely a sports bar type of atmosphere and can be a little rowdy if there's a game on, but considering it's one of the only places open so late, it's worth the stop! read more

I want to like Roosters. It's my sister's favorite restaurant so I try to find stuff I like, but they have a big issue with serving raw chicken. Both me and my dad have gotten the grilled chicken and it was raw on two separate occasions. The manager didn't even comp the raw chicken for either of us. read more

The food and service are always amazing and everything is always extremely consistent, which is important. The environment is always super upbeat and happy and I believe I can confidently say these are hands down the best wings anywhere in Charleston and Huntington WV. You can't beat the crisp texture and shear juiciness of the wings, and I really liked the sauces as well, let alone the fact you can mix and match to make your own unique sauce. The wedge salad was massive, think half of a honeydew melon and you'll get the gist. And it was really tasty to boot. And don't forget to purchase a small jar of their ranch dressing! It's $5 and some of the best I've ever had. Hidden Vally has nothing on Roosters Ranch. read more

I ordered nachos and I got a dried out bunch of chips. There was not enough of anything. I couldn't eat it. When the waitress came to offer to fix it another person came to tell me I would have to pay extra for enough food to cover the chips. This place is a joke. The waitress was nice though. read more

We had a nice meal. My Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese was great. It was very filling and just the right kick. I was concerned about how spicy the dish might be so our server offered to bring me a sample of the Buffalo sauce to try. Service was quick and helpful. read more

How does this place stay in business? It's not just that the food is bad--and it is really bad--but they also buy the cheapest ingredients. They use salad dressings for dipping sauces! And cheap salad dressing at that. The menu isn't the least bit creative and the food is not well-prepared. Just a truly awful food experience. This location is quite attractive and the space is nice, which is sad because a halfway decent restaurant could locate there. The staff is...well, some are friendly and others are mostly what you get these days, young people annoyed that you expect service from them. The location is the ONLY good thing about this awful place. read more

Roosters - The Wedgie Salad - Chicken Wings Near Me - Huntington, West Virginia

Food--Wings (Hot) an' fried pickle chips were really good! Honestly, the wings remind me of Hooters wings. They're just like 'em. The hot sauce is awesome. The pickles chips were huge an' fried to perfection. The homemade ranch was some of the best I've ever had. Ambiance-- Great atmosphere, lots of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event. Filled with like minded sports nuts. Environment--Cleanliness was fine, well maintained an' what you'd expect from any restaurant selling an' serving food to customers. Service--I hate to say this, but service was below par. Victoria wasn't very attentive or engaging. She got our orders right, it's just that she seemed lost the whole time. Maybe she was just havin' a bad day. Cost--What I paid was reasonable for a couple beers an' two appetizers. Not bad at all. read more

I've visited this establishment three times now. Every time I visit, the service gets worse. My first visit was mediocre at best. On my third visit I ordered traditional hot wings. It was painfully obvious that the server was not genuinely friendly. She acted like it was some problem to serve me. I received boneless wings instead of what I ordered. I tried them anyways and was not impressed by the flavor at all. After eating three pieces I asked for the check. My server asked if I'd like a to/go box. I responded with "No". Instead of asking if something was wrong with the food she quickly brought my check and thanked me for coming in. I've worked in restaurants in the past and normally when a customer eats only a few bites and then wants to leave, without taking any of the remaining food with them, that's usually a hint that there's a problem with the food. If a server actually cared about doing their job, they would ask if something was wrong. Not at Roosters! Just give me my money! Gross. I would definitely NOT recommend spending your hard earned money in such an establishment. It's quite a shame that Roosters is this bad. It's a fantastic location downtown. read more

Wide open with many's tvs with different programs. Very impressive. Bathroom needs work. Very small for the mass of people. Waitress was great. Never asked for anything. It was already done. It was very loud there. Had to yell over the table to my wife. Definitely a bar atmosphere. I would recommend and go back for a next round read more

The portions were very big. That is either positive or negative depending on your view. It was very loud and food was average.

Rooster's is a great place to grab a beer and wings if you just want to relax a bit or enjoy yourself before/after seeing a movie at the theater next door. Just hope you get a good server! While I don't always remember to check in on Yelp, I have been here about six times so far. Their wings are excellent, though you will notice some degree of difference in wing size, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse when it comes to value. I enjoy their pretzel appetizer very much, though their loaded tots/fries are honestly not worth the money so I would skip those if I were you. Draft selection is decent though pretty basic (if you want a great draft selection, try Summit Beer Station nearby). Service here can be good or okay depending on who you get, though I would not say I have ever had bad service here. They would probably benefit from a manager making regular rounds to check on guests and to observe the servers and bartenders, though given how full the place tends to be, they aren't hurting for customers as it is. Parking to come here is either going to cost you in dollars or in time spent walking from the surrounding areas, since everything is pay-garages or metered parking (free after 6pm). Overall, I like Rooster's because of its simplicity and fun feel, as well as its proximity to the movie theater. As far as their actual food and service, they fall closer to the middle of the pack, though. Overall: 3.5 stars ---- Pros: - Decent food at good prices. - Service varies but is usually at least okay, often good. - Interior has a fun casual feel to it, good for groups. Cons: - Does nothing to set itself apart as memorable or particularly good; any new local competitors would probably drain their clientele away quickly. - Draft selection could use a slight expansion, maybe just one rotating craft beer or regional beer would be vast improvement. - Parking here will cost you one way or another. I recommend the metered spaces on 9th street if you're coming at or after 6pm, as they are free and you can sometimes find one or two open places. read more

Waited 2 hours for a large party and was told 40 minutes max. At 45 minutes we were told 15 more minutes. Just waiting on one party to leave. At the two hour and 15 minute mark we were told we could be seated at two different tables. Or wait another 20-30 minutes. We left. read more

I am traveling from Wisconsin and was looking for a spot to watch Monday Night football, eat some wings, and drink a couple beers. And Roosters did not disappoint!! I love roosters. This is by far my favorite wing place I believe their wings are very large compared to some other places like a BW3 or Beef O'Brady's. The Waitresses are always really nice people are good they got great cold draft beer I got hot wings always go with the donkey wings with ranch and fries with no telling how much money I've spent in this place to be honest. But I've never had a bad meal here, steak and potato chicken wing type of dude and this is right up my alley I put this above Hooters I put this above any other wing place this is by far my favorite sports bars American bar whatever you want to call it. They always have excellent TVs and everything just is awesome love this place 5 out of 5 read more

Just want to say, "Thanks" to our awesome Waitress Erin. Food was so good and the service excellent!

Right on the river in downtown Huntington. The Pullman Square development offers fun retail and great restaurant options. I'm glad we chose to stop in to roosters for dinner because these wings were amazing. We started with the mac & cheese bites and the loaded chips. Both were delicious and great to split between the five of us! The star of the show was certainly the wings. My sister and I split medium wings and spicy Thai chili. My personal favorite was the Thai. All of the wings were huge and meaty and cooked to perfection. Normally 10 wings is filling, with maybe a couple wings to spare for the next day. My sister and I both took home five wings each. These wings are no joke and will fill you up fast! Literally have never seen wings this size. The price is right with plenty of food to go around. Definitely recommend! read more

First off, I'm crazy picky as I bartend and serve. In the same breath, I give leeway. Chili was cold, once food was dropped, I was taught a two minute or two bite check back. I have not seen Hannah since the drop. Food is done, drinks empty. As I look around, they are not that busy. First bad experience I've had at roosters read more

The food and service here is really good, the wings, the subs, the wraps, the chicken. however the waitresses are typically not dressed very well. We were traveling to Huntington on a business trip and only had about one night to hit the town. (Small town to begin with). Of all the places you could visit, this place seemed to be the most happening on a Thursday night. Tons of TV's, fairly open atmosphere, and most importantly, an awesome sports bar for hot wings and beer. We stopped by for a quick visit and loved this place. Huge interior, great LCD screens, and big wrap around bar. We ordered the Donkey hot wings, Thai spicy hot wings, and buffalo chicken pizza. Loved every bit of it. Great service. Descent beer selection. 12 tap handles, mostly Sam, Guinness, magic hat, and about 20 bottles including Sierra. Could stand to get more local seasonal beers. Food was solid and beer was descent. If I had to go back to Huntington, this would be my first stop. read more

I will start off by saying great food, thanks to the cooks/ whoever else had to help. Great service, thanks to Atia!!!! However, it took over 10 minutes to be waited on and that is thanks to MANAGEMENT!
