They upgraded our main service panel and did an incredible job of untangling the old rats' nest and neatly and carefully bringing in all of the wires to the new panel. There were some issues with the old wiring to correct, so it was not straightforward. They spent a lot of time making sure that everything looked neat and professional, and correctly labeled all of our circuits. Adam did an incredible job tidying up other cables near the panel and making sure that everything looked as professional as possible. Our style of home presented some unique challenges, so it was very reassuring to work with a team who was familiar with mid-century homes like Eichlers. Jason was able to develop a plan that met all of our needs and worked within the constraints of the home, which we really appreciated. The time that he spent planning ahead of the job paid off, as everything went very smoothly on the day of the panel upgrade so we had minimal power disruption. When we ran into a last minute scheduling issue because the city was no longer available on the inspection date, Jason was able to schedule us even sooner than planned to ensure that everything was ready for the inspector and PG&E the next day. We were so grateful and impressed that they were able to make everything work out on short notice. They did such a great job that we hired them again to install a Span subpanel in our garage. They were well trained and certified on the Span panel so they got it up and running smoothly. They did a beautiful job with the installation, with Adam focusing mostly on the panel and AJ laying 50 feet of conduit in a trench to get from the main service to the subpanel. It was a lot of work, but again the careful planning, knowledge, and expertise of the team helped everything go smoothly and very fast. We had multiple inspections through the course of this work and the feedback from the inspectors was all very positive. No need to make changes or corrections, they did everything right the first time. Every day the team showed up on time and did great work. Their pricing is competitive and they serve most of the bay area, so we have already recommended Anderholm Electric to friends and family. One great advantage to working with Jason is that he provides his estimate during the visit, so there is no need to wait around for several days as is common with other companies. I also like working with a smaller company so I knew exactly who would be coming to complete the work and the high quality of their references ahead of time. I have found larger companies to be hit or miss since you get a different person every time. Anderholm Electric does great work and we look forward to hiring them again for our next project. If you are looking for great electrical work, don't hesitate to reach out to them as you'll be in great hands!

Jason and his team were professional, communicative, and attentive throughout the entire project. They clearly explained the work, kept us informed along the way, and were always easy to reach. Their customer service was excellent, and the crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. For a major project like knob and tube removal, we really appreciated how clean and careful they were in our home. The work areas were well protected, and everything was left neat at the end of each day. The work was done thoroughly and up to code, and the pricing was fair and affordable for the scope of the electrical upgrade. If you're looking for knob and tube replacement, electrical service upgrades, reliable electricians, and great customer service, I highly recommend Jason Anderholm Electric.

Rigo did a great job with the 3 things I had done: replacing an electrical panel, replacing 2 light fixtures, and installing a smoke alarm. He was on time, knowledgable, and efficient. I don't think it is necessarily the cheapest option around but with something like this, quality and experience matters and they did a great job and handle permits and such. They did exactly what I asked them to do and were responsive over email and able to ask the exact questions they needed which made things seamless. This is not necessarily a bad thing but they could have probably done some kind of "walk through" around the place and found some additional work for me. Upselling is obviously not always a great practice but in my case, there were some things that I wish I had done and I think they could have suggested them and left it up to me to say yes/no to during the initial inspection. For example my kitchen could definitely use at least 1 additional outlet, I should have probably replaced a 3rd light, and so on. I do respect that they don't try to take you on a ride but since it is probably efficient to do things all at once, may have been helpful to discuss (this was also my bad for not noticing these things before). Rigo did a bunch of smaller things that made a big difference too like taking out the packaging for the lights and the old ones as well as the old electrical panel, clearly labeling all the switches very neatly which was not well done before, answering my questions and explaining things in a way that I (someone with little knowledge about most of this stuff) would understand.

The project did take longer than initially expected due to delays outside of their control, but the quality of the work never wavered. From the beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. They explained what needed to be done, why it mattered, and what to expect at each step, which made a potentially stressful process feel very manageable. Raushan, the project manager, was great to work with and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was responsive, organized, and always made sure we were informed and comfortable with the plan. Alex, one of the technicians, worked incredibly hard during the rewire and clearly took pride in his work. Bek, another technician, truly went above and beyond - paying close attention to the details and making sure everything was done perfectly, not just "good enough." Beyond the rewire, they handled multiple additional electrical upgrades and fixes around the house, all done cleanly and correctly. What really stood out was trust. Having a crew in your home for a major electrical project isn't easy, but we always felt confident that they had our best interests in mind. No corner-cutting, no unnecessary upsells, just solid, high-quality work. The crew was respectful, showed up when they said they would, and stayed focused until the job was fully complete. I highly recommend Max Electric and would absolutely hire them again!

We hired Hanson Heating and Air for the job and they did an outstanding job! Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, we started to have problems with the air conditioning unit. ALL of the staff, from those taking the calls to the technicians coming out, were extremely helpful. While the situation was a bit aggravating, with repeated attempts to repair the unit, the fact we knew Will and everyone at Hanson Heating and Air would take care of us made the process easier to navigate and deal with. In the end, Hanson Heating and Air replaced the unit. It would not surprise me if they did so at a loss, but it was clear they wanted to make sure we were happy. In other words, they don't want me to be able to compare their quotes against anyone else's without some money and my time upfront. Three stars is generous considering that I will definitely not do business with them, but a benefit of the doubt to not tank their other reviews.
