I had a main/meter combo that had a bad bus bar and main breaker, which I was firing the parts came out to prevent an electrical fire. Ultimately, push came to shove and I had to replace the entire panel. Ben and his Fairfield team were able to provide me with a quote, and hounded SMUD to get their end taken care of. Scott and his crew came out on a Friday morning, and got the job done within six hours. The stucco was patched wonderfully, and if it wasn't for the panel being a bigger footprint, I would've had no idea they did work... That's how clean it was! We had a nitpicky inspector that unfortunately called out a few things, but Reyff was prompt to fix everything and get me signed off by the county. My name is John Boyer. A few weeks ago our 106 unit Coleman Valley association started taking bids for all 106 of our electrical panels to be replaced. I submitted Reyff's name and strongly recommended they be approached to submit a bid. I'm glad I did because they won the bid! What was so remarkable is what happened next. After a lot of coordination and staging work, today they sent something like 75 trucks to our community with about 100 of their electricians. They also coordinated this amazing project in conjunction with PG&E and our Rohnert Park inspectors to all be here at the SAME TIME! The power was cut at 8am to all 106 units and the project was done by 3:45pm. All 106 panels were professionally installed and PG&E along with the city inspectors signed off on all of them right away. No one had ever seen a massive project like this undertaken before. City council members came out to see it, the press came out as well. People were shocked that this company could undertake this massive project in just ONE DAY and at a tremendous cost saving quantity pricing. This company is a little more expensive than others, but I truly believe you get what you pay for. And it wasn't so expensive that they priced themselves out of the market, they're just not the cheapest game in town. They are however incredibly responsive, they do a very detailed walk-through and quote, and I was pleased with the price I was charged. Last year I had them come out to install a new breaker, an electrical line under my house, and set up my new hot tub outside of the house. I had received some pretty ridiculous quotes from small companies and decided to go with a large company because at the point where they were messing around with my panel, I didn't want to risk having someone get in over their heads. A few years ago I had a handyman electrician come out to help me diagnose a problem, he wound up disconnecting stuff, messing around with a panel, and I had to pay to have someone come out and fix his mistakes. I decided that working with reyff for the whole project was a better idea then potentially having another blunder on my hands. I'm happy I did so, it was done in two hours and I couldn't be happier. I have a job coming up, and they're going to be moving electrical outlets for me for a kitchen remodel. This project is going to be quoted, time and materials, and I will report back with a new review to let you know if it works out. I'm optimistic! read more

Replaced my electrical panel. Reilly and Bailey were very polite, quick and thorough checking all my circuits and labeling everything in the panel box. They finished when they said they would and were in constant touch with me with status and completion time. Installation is clean and neat. They will even be painting the area around the box to match the building. Would have had power back on sooner but had to wait on PG&E to inspect and turn power back on. Very happy with installation. CAUTION This company sells customers used parts as new (wire included) they will tell a customer their transformer needs to be replaced, charge them for a new one and recycle their still functioning one to the next customer. They have also lost their licenses in the past for using uncertified journeymen. read more

A neighbors limb dropped on power lines over night & PG&E came out to change out a pole transformer this morning. No sooner than the crew had left my wife smelled an electric burning smell in the house. The dimmer switch in the living room was smoking and red hot to the touch. The lights were at their brightest and could not be turned off. Alarmed by the situation I flagged down the last crew truck before they left the scene. The crew returned and replaced the drop-line but guessed that the power surge of 21k volts had done some damage in the house. I was advised by PG&E to contact an electrician for an inspection. A good friend recommended Reyff Electric. I was assisted by Matt who said he could send Keith over who was finishing up another job. Keith and his assistant showed up and got straight to work assessing the problems. Keith was a real pro. He was exceptionally thorough, knowledgable and very customer oriented. He found that the dimmer switch had melted. An internet gateway was damaged in an out-building and a surge protector was damaged. Most significantly, three control boards to our Culligan water treatment system were burnt out. (I called Culligan who also gave glowing praise of Reyff Electric.) Divine wouldn't even come to my house without charging me hundreds of dollar for a consultation... forget that Got a quote from another top rated place that wanted to charge me $2,800. Well above the range for $500-1,500 that was the norm for this kind of work. Reyff quoted just under $1,000, and worked me into the schedule quickly. These nice folks have helped me two times through AARP. First a porch-light switch that went bad and today in response as all north plugs in my kitchen-family room cut-off involving my home entertainment center, internet modem and 65 gallon aquarium with ten year old chichlids. Sara made room for a 'fly-by' in their busy Friday schedule for their two techs to diagnose the problem. Problem was solved in 20 minutes as it was that my new breaker box has very sensitive breakers and techs showed me how breakers that have tripped do not appear to be tripped and what to do in case it reoccurs.
