She was so kind and welcoming, and I had a lovely facial (first one in many years). She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and also spent time discussing the process/answering my questions at the end, since I definitely fell asleep for part of the session. Love that the products she uses are natural, and several local items too, like the floral water, and the argan oil, which is from her own line of products. I got some good tips on how to continue a skin care routine at home, and brought a few products home with me that I'm excited to use. It was also my first time doing energy work, and it was fun to talk to Melissa about what that was like, and learn more about this. Lastly - she gave me some great ideas for what to do with the rest of my weekend in the area (we had an awesome hike at Stimpson Family Reserve, which we wouldn't have discovered without her recommendation). I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. I have left texts, left voicemails and spoken to office personnel, one of whom told me the practice was having issues with messages going to folks other than their patients. This person attempted to tell me that one of their patients and myself shared the same phone number and that their patient was ignoring messages which is why I got messages despite not being a patient. I tried to tell them that in the US two different individuals don't have identical phone numbers while living in different states. I would be cautious about using this practice until they straighten out their medical records and messaging system.

I've had good and bad spray tans before, never with d-light. I conveyed that I was concerned about turning orange. Heather was so delightful and comforting. I get my spray on. I look crazy. It's purplish gray. Heather said Trust the process. I drove home. I'm streaky, I'm sticky, I'm frustrated, I'm worried. 3 hours later I shower off and I have a very light greyish tan. I was initially a little disappointed it wasn't very warm. I thought "bummer this was not worth the money." I go to sleep on it, wake up....Bronze (for me) goddess!!!!! I don't know if it was the lights I was standing in the night before or if it continued to develop overnight. It's a warm tan but not crazy and not streaky at all. I love it! Trust the process!
