We really enjoyed my friend's Birthday Celebration! It took a while for us to get seated and for the chef to come but it was well worth the wait. I had the salad with ginger and ranch, miso soup and for the entree I ordered steak, chicken and shrimp! The food, entertainment and service was great!

The service was good. We really liked our chef. The environment is fun. It's fl nice that they do a special birthday celebration with a cupcake for $5 too. I did not love the food. I really wanted to but it was kind of bland and not really worth the cost.

By far my favorite Japanese restaurant in savannah since Kyotos left iykyk. Food prices can get a little pricey but, to be expected at a hibachi restaurant. Portions sizes are reasonable considering the cost, however well worth the experience. The layout and ambiance is true to the Japanese culture, with paintings and art throughout the establishment. Make note that this restaurant doesn't open til 4pm, which makes its highly reserved and sometimes limited. I suggest calling ahead and making reservations, especially if u have a party over two. Please tip your waiter

Celebrations at Miyabi are always fun! You will need to make a reservation as this place gets packed. There are other hibachi places in the area and even in SC, but this one is the best. It's also one of the cleaner looking ones they have. Tons of options for kids, adults, pescatarians, and those with a sensitive pallet. We really enjoy this place and their birthday celebration ritual.

I had dinner with a friend on Sunday evening and had a great experience. We got lucky because another party canceled and squeezed us in so make sure to get reservations. I had the filet mignon, shrimp and chicken entree with the salad and ginger house dressing and onion soup. The food was outstanding and cooked to order. You'll have a lot of leftovers so you'll be good for lunch the next day. Our server and chef were an excellent pair that constantly refilled our beverages and made for a fun and joyful experience. I will definitely be back...;-)

This place was awesome!! Be sure to make a reservation if you can. The service was top notch. The presentation done by the chef was very entertaining. He did a wonderful job of engaging with the table and making us laugh. The food had great flavor and there was a ton of it. Go hungry and be prepared to take some home.

Filet and chicken hibachi

My husband and I had been searching for a good hibachi and this did not disappoint! Our server, Trella was great! And our chef, Danny was so amazing. This was our anniversary dinner, and everyone was so nice. The chef was great with the kids at our table. Truly a great experience. Food was delicious. I had the filet and chicken hibachi. My husband had the fish and shrimp. My husband declared it the best ever. We will definitely be back.

Shrimp w tails, crispy rice, and chicken - super tasty! Kat kindly packed up our leftovers and sent us home with our favorite sauces.

Aside from Narra Tree, Bewon, and Jin Guk, we haven't had much luck finding Asian food we really enjoy. But Miyabi hit all the marks on our first try. My family and I were in the area running an errand when my husband spontaneously suggested Miyabi for dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful the space was. I got a little nervous seeing the sign about reservations. It was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. The staff greeted us warmly and thankfully were able to accommodate us. We had the best server and chef - Kat and Shaq! The drink menu had a great variety. We tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp. Everything, including the soup and salad, was delicious. I was surprised by the number of sauce and dressing choices. We've been to many Japanese steakhouses, including the popular Benihana. Miyabi is easily one of the best we've had, if not the best. We're definitely coming back after such a great first experience. We hope to get Kat and Shaq again. They made the night memorable and took such good care of us. Everyone at our table left happy with full bellies. Thank you!

I love a good hibachi. This was another that was just so-so. The service and the atmosphere are nice. It's the food. The massive amount of rice is more than I'd ever seen given to one person. That is because you will have more rice than veggies and protein. It was a disappointment for sure.

Miyabi's is still a great place for a large group dinner. You get dinner and a show, what more could you want. Plus, the portions of food are legit. You can find Miyabi's located on Eisenhower and next door to a Chinese buffet. Service is always good and I love that you get a different experience depending on who the chef is. On my most recent visit we had Jackie Chan and he was hysterical. We were celebrating a birthday and he showed her lots of love. I can imagine he is much more PG when children are present. I ordered the shrimp and scallops and both were cooked perfectly. I do wish they provided more vegetables with the meal especially since rice is the main portion. And to be fair, you can always order more as an add on. To me their miso soup is a hit or miss so I've recently been doubling up on the salad instead of the soup. Best decision ever! I also ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious. Some of their alcoholic drinks can be off. On a previous visit I tried their signature cocktail and was extremely disappointed. It tasted like straight up sour mix. Other than that I've never had a bad experience here. Be mindful you will not be seated until your entire party is present. And the more you participate with the chef the more fun you'll get out of the night.

How much is the early bird special?

It depends on what you order. There are different meat combinations. But they are between $15-$20.

He had a nice aura. AMBIANCE: dreamy, cutes-y date night spot. It is smaller, they had an area in the back that appeared to be reserved for a birthday party. The counter is nice and clean, the decorations were culture appropriate and cohesive. It wasn't over the top. FOOD: food was great! The crab rangoons were delish, that filling was amazing. Only gripe I had was that I wished they were relatively the same size, but that's how you know they were handmade! I loved that they had ika (squid) which, for some reason, is difficult to find in the spots i been to. I also loved that they scarred them the way they did so that the shoyu can reach every groove. Most people just cut two or three slits, but they made it like a grid. I loved the selection of rolls and the arrangement it was brought in was very appealing. The hibachi steak was beautifully cooked. The rice was a very large portion so we ended up taking it home. I've never had fried ice cream before, and it was amazing. The batter tasted a little like funnel cake. So imagine funnel cake with vanilla ice cream! PRICE: i think it was reasonable for a sushi spot. We didn't order anything else other than this and we left full and with a take home box. Most sushi places you'll have to spend a lot to be full or eat a little beforehand, but this place was different for us. We loved it and would go again! They also had regular customers so they are doing something right!

You get to customize your soup options with everything from broth, noodles, protein and toppings. And they had something for everyone and were able to accommodate my very specific food preferences and my boyfriend who eats anything. Anthia took the time to add all my allergy concerns into the ticket and helped us through the ordering process as it was my first time here. She was great, and at the ready with refills for our soft drink. The food itself was delicious. We did the edamame and two build your own ramen bowls. My fried tofu was the perfect texture and didn't get soggy sitting in the broth. The flavors were good and they had extra spices available if you wanted to amp up the flavor a little more. Would definitely go again. They do have a bit of a "nerdy" atmosphere with anime on the TVs and some trading cards available. And it gives the street market kind of vibe with the seating. They are an order at the counter establishment, so nice and casual.

Everything was well cooked, tasted great, the gyoza and chicken was nice hot and crispy. Ambiance - I'm not really an anime person but I appreciate the overall idea and concept. Fantastic Ramen and Excellent Service!…read more We had a wonderful experience at Sushi Zen! We started with the edamame and then tried both the Shoyu Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen. Both were outstanding. The Shoyu had a wonderfully rich, savory soy-based broth, while the Tonkotsu pork broth was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. You could really taste the depth of flavor in both bowls. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and welcoming--and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Great food, great service, and great value. Sushi Zen is definitely a place we'll be coming back to. Five stars!

Sushi: I was chowing down of their Deluxe Platter and enjoying it. Really good Toro, Black Snapper, couple others. But one of my last three pieces was mackerel and it was BAD. I shouldn't have swallowed it, the moment it was in my mouth I could tell it had turned, but I'd been drinking saki and thought "What the hell? How bad can this be?" Welllllll....in about five minutes I was puking my guts out in the restaurant's bathroom. Not good. When I got out, the waiter brought the check and hovered over me, making sure I tipped at least 20% after they just made me pay for food that made me barf. I kept belching and dry heaving through the night at home, repeatedly the taste of bad mackerel urping up in my throat. A top flight sushi chef would've caught that mackerel and pulled it from market, or, worse, the gave the piece to me KNOWING it was bad. I'll prefer to think he's just not a top flight sushi chef, as opposed to a malevolent one. But most of the pieces were good-to-excellent and the service was friendly and nice up to that point. I would probably eat here again, just be more careful about what I order.
