The food was good for an impromptu dinner night! A good standard sushi joint in excelsior! We had a very friendly staff greet us and the sushi rolls we had were good. I just don't know if we'll be back to this particular restaurant.

Solid sushi spot in the suburbs! My friends and I were nearby for another event and were craving sushi so decided to give this spot a try. Interior was pretty and blue and our server was super friendly. We started with the wonton soup, served in individual bowls and it was okay. Nothing stellar but hit the spot during the cold. The rolls themselves were fresh, loaded, and tasty. Not sure if it's a spot I would drive out of my way to go to, but if I am in the area, I'll definitely stop by!

Miyabi will always deliver - high quality sushi, good price point. Never need a resi, even on a Friday at 7PM, it was busy but we snagged a table. Kind staff, food comes in a reasonable amount of time, you can tell everything is prepared fresh. Very typical sushi restaurant vibes, not a lot of fluff with nice big windows near the heart of excelsior. Great spot to come for excellent sushi at quite literally any time of day!

We have quite a few sushi spots in our rotation, and Miyabi has slowly made its way near the top of our favorites. While often overshadowed by another Excelsior sushi spot, I'd honestly recommend Miyabi to those unsure of which to pick! Plenty of parking in a shared lot with local Lunds! Service was wonderful...as noted by the frequent visits to refill my always half empty water :) The ambiance is classy, yet casual and perfect for a date night or just a sushi night out with friends. Food is always great! I do have to say that they have the BEST crab Rangoon...so definitely munch on those before your rolls arrive! Presentation is always fun and the rolls are quality! Plenty of sushi spots in the west metro, but definitely give Miyabi a try next time you're in the area!

We were looking to grab some Asian bistro in Excelsior and Miyabi popped up as a place to go. The Good: The spicy tuna roll is everything that you would expect. I would order several of these rolls. The chicken lettuce wraps do not look appealing but they have a smoky braised chicken flavor. I like the P.F. Chang's lettuce wraps a little better. The best meal was a coconut noodle soup, which I would give a five out of five unfortunately, it was not my meal. The Bad: The shrimp tempura dinner was OK but nothing that I would order again.

Everytime I've visited, i've always loved this place. It's super cute, love the environment, and they have indoor and outside seating. The food has always been hot, fresh, AND fast! The wait staff is always so kind and polite and very attentive when you need anything, they don't leave you hanging ever. I think it's awesome for a date night or even a girls night with it not being super tiny. Kinda shocked that whenever i've stopped in it's never too busy seeing i've never had a poor experience here. It's definitely a spot to try with having food business hours too!

Date night and what a blast! Was surprised at how busy it was. We ordered vegetarian because she is vegetarian and has some great taste. She recommended the place and knew the menu pretty well. Would recommend reservations because they get busy on Saturdays. We went with avacado sushi, Thai Peanut Tofu, Green Curry Tofu. All quite good really.

Snow Mountain Roll on the left, Angel Roll on the right. 8 pieces each.

We took the advice of a previous post and ordered the Angel Roll and Snow Mountain Roll. Both were fabulous. Great menu, lots of choices. Nice atmosphere.

Free parking right behind in the East lot, it was already more than half full at 10am. They had just opened and there were already a few tables occupied. It felt busy and maybe they didn't have enough staff for that time. There were only 2 staff taking orders. We stayed inside as it was a very hot day. We've been there for dinner before and always liked the modern cozy interiors. Our server took our drink orders and gave us a complimentary order of cardamom donuts, as if they knew it would be a while. The brewed coffees came out pretty fast but he didn't come back to take our order until almost 10:30, when we finally flagged him down. The food didn't take long but he forgot to put in my MILs side order of bacon so that didn't come out until we were mostly done eating. They had a good breakfast selection and lunch was available as well. If you want to come here even relatively close to peak hours, I would highly recommend a reservation. My personal favorites here include the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and the Minute Chicken. I've gotten both items multiple times and they are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.

I came here for lunch... then again a few days later! Lol. Atmosphere/Appearance: Located in what I thought was Excelsior, is actually Tonka Bay right off of some water is this gem. It's in a plaza with a few other businesses and a part of a private parking lot. The inside isn't too crazy. You walk in and you are greeted by grand smells of pizza cooking in their huge steel ovens! The menu is overhead and the dining area is to the left. I remember a lot of exposed wood, plastic benches and just a classic looking pizza joint. Service: I can't remember the young lady's name, but Sydney or Candace come to mind. Lol. Whoever it was that took care of us was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. However, all you do is just place your order at the counter, take the number they give you and go sit down then wait for you food to be brought out to you. Drinks are self-serve as well. Food: Throughout my visits I've had the chance to check out 3 of their wing flavors and a couple of toppings on their pizzas. The wow factor here is about big the slices are. They literally don't even fit onto a single plate. The edges hang over rim of the plate. Lol. So for lunch you can order the pizza + salad combo and it totally fills you up. The wings are also enormous and quite delicious I might add! I'd definitely get them again. Cajun and the Buffalo were my favorite, but the BBQ wasn't too bad either. Value: A single order of wings will give you 6 and it'll cost you $10.00. Double your order for $16.50. Like I mentioned, they wings are huge so I think this is a pretty good value. Any time a day you can get a cheese slice + salad + drink for only $12.50. Toppings will cost extra of course. In conclusion, I loved this place. However, coming for lunch and eating heavy makes for a slow rest of the work day. Lol. I ain't trippin' though, sometimes that's what's necessary!
