    Matcha Soft Serve

This was refreshing especially on a hot day!! The matcha flavor was really nice and the ice cream was pretty quick for a bustling Sunday. It was rather busy as it was super hot out. They have kiosks where you order at and then you get your food from the counter. I didn't go inside but it had enough room to move around even with the influx of customers.

This is a new hot spot the the downtown Brooklyn neighborhood. Each time I've visited there is a long line of people mostly students from nearby schools, ordering on the various kiosks as well as waiting on their orders. Ordering via the kiosk is quick and easy and was able to create an account in order to collect rewards. I think the main draw to people is how inexpensive everything is. I will be visiting again to try other items that caught my attention on the menu. The space is roomy, with seating and small round tables. The floor and tables are kept clean too. Once an order is placed it doesn't take long to receive it.

I was excited to see another location of Mixue and glad it's in Downtown Brooklyn! I brought my family here and I decided to try their drinks this time. It was easy to order on the iPad kiosk and the pick up time was fast. I ordered the peach mango jasmine tea (0% sugar, less ice, no other toppings). It tasted fresh and definitely tasted the peach mango flavor. The jasmine tea flavor was a bit muted. There was actually a good portion of fruit along with lychee jelly so it was super affordable for $4. My family enjoyed their drinks and chocolate ice cream as well. I would definitely come back!

    Vanilla cone!

I admit that I did not know what Mixue was, but with a quick google search I learned affordable ice cream! Popped in on my way back home to grab a couple cones and sundaes to try with the family. $1 something for cones and $3 something for sundaes. Vanilla tastes good! Everyone liked it. Sundaes weren't fancy, but reasonable amount of strawberry sauce and lots of cookie crumbles. (Full disclosure: I ordered chocolate, but they made a mistake.) Employees were friendly and helpful. Didn't try tea or coffee, but when word gets out about $1ish cones when the ice cream truck is charging $6, there are going to be lines! Fortunately, I believe you will be able to order ahead of time- at least you can with the other NYC locations. (This one is not yet showing up online.) Anyway, welcome the new business to the area when you have a chance!

I had seen the opening soon sign for months. I think I missed the actual opening but on the random warm day amidst spring it sure felt like the opening day. The placed was swarmed like the other location in Manhattan . I guess everyone was taking advantage of the low priced treats to cool down. I used the kiosk to place my order as getting to the counter seemed like a task (crowded). The crowd was actually a result of the order pic up system. Which in my opinion is chaotic. If you oder one thing or multiples of the same items you'll be fine . Beyond that is where it gets tedious. I ordered the soft serve and a strawberry Sundae (added jellies) . Waited a bit for my order to be called and went to the only space tjat was open and gave my number. I was told to go the line with the soft serve to pick up. Went there and got the oce cream. I told the worker I also ordered a Sundae, she told me I had to go to another line to pick up the Sundae. Mind you the workers are elbow to elbow in terms of line spacing. Ahh now it's was clear why there was a jumbled mob in front of the counter. Buddy can you just pass me the sundae?? The soft serve texture was good and overall not too sweet -I liked it. The Sundae was sweet and the jellies were yummy. Will I go back - absolutely. Will I order a variety of items in the same visit - definitely not. Low price point is attractive and the treats are likeable. I forsee this crowd never decreasing (especially in warmer months)

The tea was flavorful and there were great flavor options. But it did take quite a while to get 2 teas even though there wasn't a lot of people in the store. I would've given it 5 stars but there was an annoying song playing in a loop that was insufferable. Other than the song the establishment is worth a try.

Mixue is a popular bubble tea chain from China. There's several locations opened in NYC this past year and I finally got to try it at this location. It's known for its affordability so I was excited to try. Menu must-tries are the lemonades and soft serves. Place was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered via kiosk but you can scan a QR code to order online to skip the line for kiosk, order at the counter, or order via FANTUAN. I ordered two soft serves (vanilla and matcha) and a triple topping bubble tea. The price came out to be around $8 for the 3 items, which is a deal in this economy. The soft serves are so good for less than $2! I think if you order soft serves, they make your order right away because my order was ready shortly after I ordered; meanwhile I was also waiting for an online order but that took forever to be ready even though I ordered online first. They have a system where you get your soft serve from different areas and drinks in the center of the counter, so it can get a bit confusing. Anyways, the bubble tea is okay... taste like bakery bubble tea; nothing impressive and for the price, I rather pay a bit extra for better. However, I think I would go back just for the soft serve and lemonade alone. The vanilla cone is my favorite; it's not too sweet.

A new addition to Downtown Brooklyn on Fulton is mixue. Have 2 kiosks, take cash via cashier, have some seats and mini tables. Closes at 930PM. Was super busy that the matcha soft serve machine was backed up. After a few minutes, I got my soft serve which was $1.69 and tastes the same as all the other mixues I've been to in NYC. Busy with lots of young people, shoppers and schools around

Came here for hot chocolate on a freezing, snowy night. Tried classic, birthday cake, and Szechuan…read morepeanut butter flavors. All those flavors pertain to the topping of your cup--the actual drinking hot chocolate is all the same no matter what you get. The drink itself was underwhelming and nothing I'd return to. Swiss miss taste, consistency, vibe. Very liquidy and not rich at all. What gets your heart racing is the whipped torched marshmallow fluff that tops the cup. It's so chewy and tasty, you'll feel your glucose spike through the roof. If you're into sweet--this is an indulgence for you. Pretty pricey for $7.50 per cup plus tax. Between the three flavors, all were tasty. Just depends on how much extra you're feeling on a particular day. Szechuan peanut butter gave the most unique flavor--slight spiciness to the crunchy brittle sprinkled on top of the marshmallow. If you go with classic, you won't miss out, honestly, as the toppings didn't add much depth or make any significant difference in the taste of the drink. No bathroom on premises. Very limited seating inside: a few stools that would fit 4 people max. If you come here during peak times, you'll have to eat outside.
