The menu is on laminated pages and a rotating screen and offers multiple specials, some cheesecake (??) drinks, Korean classics and a couple of bites like a Korean toffee candy for purchase. This cute little stall doesn't have seating available but service is quick. I opted for the Hi Mr. Matcha (a drink boasting brown sugar) with almond milk and a matcha cloud added on top, as a size large. This drink is perfection. It was a challenge to not suck it all down at once and no added sweetness was needed as it had plenty of sweetness from the brown sugar and the matcha cloud. Passion Fruit Green tea, medium $6.25 Peach Green tea, medium $6.25 Tea Makers have my default topping grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which, of course, I included in my order for $0.75. The tea alone was average, but with the add-on toppings of my favorite herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 was delicious chilled and fresh. The tea tasted very diluted as I barely taste any green tea. The amount of grass jelly was very paucity. One word: frugal! I requested "less sugar" which former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg would be proud of my sugar intake level. I highly despise extreme sweet drinks for the high sugar content volume and agree with former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's limiting sugar level initiatives consumption of sugary drinks. Yes, I control my sugar intake level. I highly suggest to order "less sugar" because their fruit teas are sweet to begin with. The passion fruit green tea contains a lot of black seeds which is very aggravating. The peach green tea contains a sweet syrup, but no fresh fruit pieces unlike their competitors. Teas shouldn't be made like this: This "korean" brand stands out by making disappointing drinks, at least for me who has been drinking teas/boba with higher quality. The bubble pearls were cheap ones. Most flavors are sugar or powdered-based. If you want a quick sugary drink, then this would be your place. I got a large black milk tea and it had a strange artificial/perfume-y/woody(??) aftertaste that lingered after every sip. While the tea is pleasantly fragrant while drinking, the perfume-y aftertaste is super off-putting, weirdly savory (?), and unfortunately ruins the drink. It isn't the typical citrusy aroma that comes from earl grey either, so I can't figure out how this was brewed. The tapioca pearls in the drink were also kinda small and not soft or chewy -- potentially leftover pearls from the night before? I came here because I wanted to visit the one in K-Town, but the line is always absolutely ridiculous. I wanted a coffee drink, when I inquired, I was told to try the coffee milk tea. It was fine. I do expect my Thai tea to be a little more potent. And I also hate when they make Thai tea exclusively from a powder that tastes very milky, but not much like Thai tea. I was excited to see that they had a location in dekalb's market hall, as i've been wanting to get this boba bear bottle for a while now. They had so many flavors, some of which where CHEESECAKE!!!! The staff was very friendly and let us take our time to make our order. We got the bear bottles which had a cute Christmas scarf and hat. I received my order and so did my partner. My partner got a straw with a cute Christmas hat to match the scarf his bear bottle had, which i had not. I asked them if i could receive one too (as i really wanted the bear bottle) and they had said they mistakenly gave me the wrong straw without the hat and was able to fix the problem quickly and nicely. The drinks we received were the red guava green tea with lychee jelly. This was a delicious 5/5 flavor. It tasted so crisp and not overly sweet. The lychee was perfectly made. My partner got a peach mango green tea with coconut jelly. The drink was great 4.5/5 but the coconut jelly was not my favorite as it gave a funny aftertaste for me, but not my partner. It was ok, but they do not have a dairy option for their milk teas, which was disappointing.
