This bubble tea business Tea Makers sits inside a busy Brooklyn food court, DeKalb Market Hall in the lower level. I patronized this business two times. Passion Fruit Green tea, medium $6.25 Peach Green tea, medium $6.25 Tea Makers have my default topping grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which, of course, I included in my order for $0.75. The tea alone was average, but with the add-on toppings of my favorite herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 was delicious chilled and fresh. The tea tasted very diluted as I barely taste any green tea. The amount of grass jelly was very paucity. One word: frugal! I requested "less sugar" which former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg would be proud of my sugar intake level. I highly despise extreme sweet drinks for the high sugar content volume and agree with former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's limiting sugar level initiatives consumption of sugary drinks. Yes, I control my sugar intake level. I highly suggest to order "less sugar" because their fruit teas are sweet to begin with. The passion fruit green tea contains a lot of black seeds which is very aggravating. The peach green tea contains a sweet syrup, but no fresh fruit pieces unlike their competitors. I wish this bubble tea carry Oolong tea in their drink menu. Customer service is average. I did receive my respective sales receipts for both separate visits.

Dragonfruit Lychee Foam and Guava Boba (disappointing)

Teas shouldn't be made like this: This "korean" brand stands out by making disappointing drinks, at least for me who has been drinking teas/boba with higher quality. The bubble pearls were cheap ones. Most flavors are sugar or powdered-based. If you want a quick sugary drink, then this would be your place. Staff were quite chill despite hectic environment, I meant realllly chilling. I wasn't expecting good customer service but I do want more focus when making drinks.

I had to stop by tea makers and get my passion fruit tea and it's always refreshingly good.

price - $14 including tax food - 5/5 service - 5/5 ambiance - 5/5 the drinks were amazing! i got the classic black milk tea and the cheese foam strawberry green tea. i definitely like the milk tea better since im a huge fan of tea flavored drinks with a milk base. it wasnt too sweet which i really like as well! the strawberry green tea was super refreshing so i really like that! im not a huge fan of cheese foam so i could have done without that as a topping but it comes with it so it doesnt hurt to try it! overall, the drinks were amazing! the service was so fast too! i got my drinks within 2 minutes so thats crazy! lastly, the ambiance is chill and vibey since its located within dekalb market hall in the basement level. definitely check this place out!!!

Christmas Bear Strawberry Matcha

Bought a beary cute bottle of strawberry matcha as a Christmas gift and it was the perfectly festive choice for someone who drinks matcha every morning. The matcha was ready in less than 5 minutes and the staff members helpfully answered my questions around freezing it overnight. Usually when I come to Dekalb Market, I'm not in *the market* ;) for tea etc but I'm glad I tried this place and will keep it as an option if ever I need good matcha again.

Pomegranate green tea w/ boba

Really great food stall in the DeKalb Market Hall. There are dozens of options for tea and soda bases as well as mix-in's. You can control the ice and sweetness levels from 0% to 100%. Highly recommend ordering lower sugar because their fruit teas are extremely sweet to begin with. I ordered the pomegranate green tea ($6.75 for a large) plus boba (50 cents) - total came to $7.35 after tax which is similar to other tea shops in the city.

I came here because I wanted to visit the one in K-Town, but the line is always absolutely ridiculous. I wanted a coffee drink, when I inquired, I was told to try the coffee milk tea. At other bubble shops, the coffee flavor comes out much stronger than what they offer. This really tastes like an Earl Gray milK tea with decent boba. The Earl Gray flavor is super strong. If you're not a fan. I wouldn't suggest trying it when I asked about it. Not tasting like coffee. I was told it was their milk tea mixed with a coconut coffee. OKI know for the next time to get a different drink. I found it to be odd that they didn't fill my bear up with quite a bit of coffee left in the container. But Hey, I gotta get the Christmas bear for my desk and trip. Basically, that's all it was really worth. There was there was less than ten ounces of liquid in the cup. NOTE: All toppings are sold separately.

I got a black sesame drink here and it tasted fantastic. It was nice and sweet and milky, and I wish I got a bigger serving...

Located in the busy DeKalb Food Hall, there was a line for tea here. The tea is very good. The matcha flavor was strong and love the slightly salty, sweet sourness of the cheesecake in the drink. The grass jelly was soft and easy to sip through the straw. It's not really refreshing but it's almost like a drinkable dessert after lunch. You can sit to enjoy or you can walk with it.

I have tried a lottt of matcha's around New York and this was definitely one of my favorites. The service was quick and kind. I had my drink within 3 minutes of ordering. The cup itself is also very innovative because you can close the lid whenever you want. Very lovely place and kind people. I recommend to anyone who loves matcha

While doing some shopping, I decided to check out Dekalb Market Hall. I got thirsty, so decided to try this boba spot since there was a line. I ordered the Hi Mr.Only ($5.25 for M), which is a brown sugar fresh milk drink. You can't change the sugar level nor ice for this. As a result, I finished my drink in a minute because the cup was 3/4 full of ice. The drink itself was good --make sure you mix it before drinking so the brown sugar blends with the milk. I was so disappointed with how little liquid I got from my drink, never again.

I think this is new because either I've never noticed or new tea shop. Either way, I'm glad to discover it. I had to try an option from this tea shop. I ordered the matcha mango with oat milk and coconut jelly. It's a recipe so sweetness can't be altered but I enjoyed it. This will be my brew boba spot in-between shopping this mall. If you like boba, stop here while visiting the plaza. Located in basement level in front of Trader Joe's.

I got the large jasmine milk tea with 75% sugar, boba and pudding. There's barely any jasmine taste, not creamy, and rather watery. The service was quick but it was hard to find a place to stand as the store is on a busy street. Wish I went with Machi Machi or Tiger Tea instead but wanted to try something different.

There is bar seating as well as a variety of tables and chairs, making this place ideal for a meet up. I ordered the iced Organic Matcha Milky Strawberry with almond milk, and regular sugar. One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!

I ordered a Grilled Pork Banh Mi with medium spicy, and sat in the AC'd store while they prepared my food. Got my hot bag, then went on my way towards Prospect Park. Due to unforeseen events, I ate my Banh Mi about 2 hours later, while it was still warm enough, this banh mi was still absolutely delicious. The sandwich has a slight kick (pretty strong for medium), but it was definitely not overwhelming. Pickled veggies are fresh, crispy, and not overpowering either. The meat was delicious!!! Grilled perfectly, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Bun is also delicious. I don't know what to say, didn't try their pho or boba, but their banh mi is worth a visit, and a return visit. I was super happy that this place didn't opt for the usual mayo bland dressing that most Viet places use, but they kept their sandwich juicy yet not heavy. Great food.

I've been to the three locations, assuming they're the same owners. It was clean and cool (A/C) when I arrived. I placed my order at the counter and picked it up when ready. They'll call your number. I ordered the Combo which was one Garden and one Summer (with Shrimp). In no time it was ready. I just had Garden Rolls last week at a neighboring competitor (a new spot) which turned out to be disappointing (read my review). Today's rolls were what they're supposed to be: the rice paper was thin and tender to the bite. The Garden Roll included cucumbers and mint (shredded carrots absent. Or maybe it's supposed to be without?) and the Summer roll lined up the shrimp which was visible through the rice paper. Both were delicious. Important key to these rolls is the peanut dipping sauce. Theirs was thick enough but with the ability to dip those yummy rolls with every bite. Satisfied customer and will return.

The grass jelly was very minimal for paucity - total dismay. The entire drink was embedded with lime, lime pulp and fresh pieces of peach fruit. I wanted the supporting cast to be grass jelly and the lead to be Jasmine green tea, but this lime and heavy lime pulp were aggravating annoyance that stole the spotlight. I decribe the amount of herbal jelly topping to be scant, conveying insufficiency or minimalism. There were absolutely nothing alleged special of this peach sauce. I have chosen my default 30% sugar which highly counteracted with the lime. The lime and lime pulp were very strong. My drink tasted intensely sour, albeit refreshing. A lime drink is not my desideratum. Lime is not my interest. The woman cashier/ server Mattie was attentive, friendly welcoming who served with warm hospitality and patience for customer service. She permitted me to take a lot of photos for this review without any complaints as I could not resist this very cute adorable Shiba theme. If I could suggest to the owner for change of this drink ingredients either to remove of this lime and lime pulp, or significantly decreased the amount inputted. If I could, I could. For $0.75 as a paid topping it is my prerogative to have one quarter quantity of the drink size. The full ice melted entirely, but my drink sustained its coolness and was still chilled during my long-haul subway ride home. Disappointedly, there are no takeout drink menus.
