Worst restaurant ever. On weekends, they charge dinner prices during lunch time. Overpriced and then they expect a tip. Food is mediocre. No concept of customer service or hygiene. The food here is served Buffett style. Lots of interesting dishes to say the least. Arrived here around 12.45pm on Fathers Day. Packed with lots of people. The food is just okay for a Buffett. Green beans were mushy, breaded chicken was dry as cardboard and the rest of the food was just okay. For me being hungry, it just filled my stomach. Service was good though. Didn't use the bathroom. I know that if a bathroom is clean and tidy the food and service is always good. Just my 2 cents. read more

I gave this place 3 tries and it was all horrible. The only thing I'd probably say I like is their desserts. They have a chocolate fondue and variety of ice cream toppings. Great fruit selections such as lychee, pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe etc. The last time I went there it was around lunch and they didn't put heat on their food. Everything was cold I had to ask twice for them to heat it up. They had some very cold pork feet that tasted completely old. I'll never forget the taste. read more

First off, my daughter and I were starving so when we saw this place we had to try it. You'd think that because we hadn't eaten since breakfast, and it was 4 pm at that point, that the food would taste amazing... Unfortunately, it was one of the worst choices of my life; the sushi was subpar, the tempura was so dry it cracked it half when I tried biting into it and it stuck to the roof of my mouth, and don't even get me started on their "noodle bar". I'll just say they leave raw meat under lamps in that section. The only decent dishes were the veggie stir fry, seafood combo, and the clams. My daughter and I tried different dishes, and just stuck to the stir fry. The dessert was the usual buffet fair of prepackaged/frozen desserts, jello, and fruit. They did have sesame balls that were decent, but after all the disappointment even that couldn't help redeem this place. Now for the price, I paid $15 a plate on a Monday. I've never paid so much for a buffet and regretted it so badly. I went be returning or suggesting it to anyone. At least I know now, never to go again. read more

I just went here with my mom for mother's day. First thing I notice is the whole floor is sticky. It's like walking on gum everywhere. The guy that was supposed to seat us walked us to a table then turned and was surprised we were there. He just pointed to room on the other end of the restaurant and said go over there. The whole area around the buffet was disgusting like nobody was cleaning it. Staff would just come up and take away utensils as I was reaching for them to get food. Finally sat back at my table to eat and a staff member was staring me down the whole time. I left after eating one plate of greasy bland food. Went home and threw up almost immediately. I've been to a lot of buffets and let me say... this place has more variety than the usuals. The pricing is not soo bad either and the selection went from fresh desserts to japanese, chinese, korean and some american food. I love the cheesy covered mussels. It was really good. Only reason why it didnt get a 5 star from me is because customer service were none. But of course i understand that you dont get any customer service at a buffet... We just got back from Mitsui Buffet for dinner. We got there at about 5:30pm on a saturday. Positives: 1. It's a nice place and fairly clean. 2. the sushis were surprisingly better than we were expecting. The fish looked and tasted fresh. However, there was one type of sushis with seaweed on top and the seaweed tasted like it was overdue. Negatives: 1. There were a few dishes that were cold. Not hot, not warm, just cold. Nasty surprise. Something was probably wrong with their food heating system. As a result, the food was hard and tasted old (ex: pork ribs). 2. Some of the food that were not cold still tasted hard and old. Like it was left over from lunch or from the day before (ex: fried fish. Looked yummy but tasted the opposite). 3. There was a fly in the dessert area. A man from the restaurant walking around in sandals (the owner?) saw me wave my arm left and right over the cakes to chase the fly away but just ignored it and continued walking. The fly came back. 4. Three waitresses were looking at a check that was left on the table close to ours. One was holding it up and all three were looking at it. They had an animated conversation about it in their language. It seems like they were bitching at the small tip that was given or something. Annoying. Unprofessional. 5. Our waitress brought us our check. The "gratuity guidelines" at the bottom were circled. (it's like a mini lesson on how much is proper tipping). Rude and, again, unprofessional. The food was really disappointing, even for a buffet. We don't plan to go back at all. read more

Horrible!! I wish I could rate this nasty place negative stars!! My family went there today around 4:00pm, I tried just about everything they had looking for some edible food but left hungry. Everything was over cooked, cold and no flavor. We had a horrible experience and when I notified the front desk that the food was really horrible they just said "oh..." didn't even apologize or try to compensate my family for a waste of our time. They still charged me full price and did not care that we weren't able to even eat anything . I would not recommend this place to anyone! The boiled snow crab legs at the hot food section made the dinner worth it. That's all that I kept eating. I should have taken a picture of all the shells piled on my plate. Other people at my table enjoyed the clams, but did not think the Dungeness crab was as good as the snow crab legs. The buffet had a wide assortment of food, but I think the snow crab legs were the best. Make sure you pick up some fresh lemons at the cold seafood section to squeeze over the crab meat, it tastes better than the melted butter. All the stars go to the snow crab legs. read more

I really don't know how anyone gives this place more than two stars. Food was cold-each of the three items I selected were cold and I mentioned it to the waitress, she said I could get more. More what?! Cold food?! Really, and the sitting area/table wasn't sanitary at all. Certainly the staff is nice/polite enough, but the food is really bland and disturbingly cold. I am so disappointed in this place. I really wanted to like them. The tables were clean, the area was clean and fine. But the servers were very untrained, the food was very old or left out a lot. Sushi was lukewarm. Was 15$ a person for dinner meal, and drinks on the menu were 2.75 but they charged us 3$ per drink. The menu said refills, but no one came to refill it even though they knew they should. If anyone blames the servers, they're dumb. It's not the servers fault, it's definitely the owners being cheap and telling the servers to not refill and to charge up the drinks sneakily. Whoever runs this place is doing every thing wrong. First time trying this place out and it was great! It's a pretty clean place. They seated us right away. The service was great as well. We got out refills right away when we asked for them so that's definitely a plus! They were quick to take our finished plates away. All the food was great! The sushi bar was defiantly amazing!! Good food. Don't let the mantra "buffet" fool you. Very good service. We were quickly greeted and seated. A lot more of a selection during the dinner rush. I've come during lunch hour before. Place gets busy. Good variety of dishes such as sushi, seafood, and your usual Chinese dishes. My girlfriend and I love coming for the variety of shrimp.
