I was skeptical since this was my first time. I saw the reviews about feeling "energized" and "hydrated" after the IV drip. That was not my experience though. I didn't feel either of those things, but- I noticed something very strange on my drive home. Right after getting the immunity IV drip, I was driving home and realized that I could see perfectly clear! I'm talking 20/20 vision when I normally am blind as a bat!!! I have to wear my glasses to see far away. But wasn't wearing them this evening. I was SHOCKED that I could suddenly see 20/20 or close to that! It has been years since I've been able to see that clear without glasses! It was like being in a depressive fog and then suddenly realizing what not being depressed was like- the cloudy window was now crystal clear. I don't know how this even makes any sense. I started back up with Roxanne earlier this year and when my busy season for work came up, I went to another tech in the meantime (all of May, June and up until the first week of July) because she told me how important consistency was. During my last session with the last tech a few weeks ago, she absolutely ruined my skin and I ended up in the ER due to severe inflammation and irritation on my skin. I knew Roxanne was the best option moving forward and even moved my own clients, so I could get in and see Roxanne and make this consistent again with her. I told her I was committed and permanently moved clients, so I could continue seeing her. I have come in when I had a bad back and she even suggested cancelling my appointment when my back first went out. I went back and looked at our texts: March 27 - my back was bad and she is the one who suggested cancelling, so I did April 15 - I let her know the day before that there were personal matters I was dealing with, with my grandma. We rescheduled to the 23rd and I woke up with the flu that day and I paid the cancellation fee Today, I woke up extremely sick. Unfortunately, I work with kids and I am sick often, so I have to reschedule sometimes. I've always paid the cancellation fee and have rescheduled as needed, when needed. Apparently she doesn't care about anyone's health and the spreading of illness and terminated me as a client today "because of too many cancellations", as if I hadn't just paid her the cancellation fee. As a business owner, I think it's ultimately up to the clients on consistency and their schedule. If they're willing to spend the money and have breaks in between treatment, due to personal or health matters, it's not up to the technician on if that client is a good fit or not, especially when that client is apologetic, pays their cancellation fees and was getting treatment when they couldn't see you.

I brought in a photo for inspiration and Emily recreated it beautifully -- I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I also want to mention that the reason I had to wait longer was because Emily was finishing up another client before me that ended up taking about two hours total. While I was there, I unfortunately witnessed that client leave in a way that seemed like Emily was still trying to collect payment for the work she had just done. I could see the disappointment on her face, and it really stuck with me. As someone who works in healthcare, I know how it feels when people overlook the effort and care that goes into the work we do. I just wanted to send some good karma her way for the hard work she clearly puts into her craft. Despite that situation, Emily stayed completely professional, finished my nails beautifully, and went above and beyond by staying late. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. I used to get my eyebrows waxed and that process was just too painful and left the skin irritated (red). I was so excited when I found out that Beauty Avenue had threading. Mita does such a wonderful job every time I go in. Obviously this process has some discomfort but it doesn't come close to the pain that comes with waxing. Mita is so close to my house I can just go whenever I'm free. Make sure you have some extra time before you go in because she might not be there but they will call her to come in for you. Overall I have a good experience every time I go in and it is very inexpensive. She only charges $6 to have your eyebrows threaded. read more
