It was my first time and honestly it was an okay for me :/ I still have hairs on the side of my brows and I had to come home and take them off myself. Online it does say $6 for eyebrows and in person she said $8 so I think they should fix that so first timers don't get confused. read more

Probably the worse threading I've ever have. She was nice but careless. I know threading doesn't take a long time to do but less than a minute,?? She didn't even trim my brows, didn't cleanse my brows after, instead of telling me to let go of my lids she taps my forehead, nor did she sanitize her hands before she did my brows. Now my eyebrows are uneven, I didn't even bother asking her to fix it cus I didn't want her to mess it up anymore. Also, as I left I noticed that the days special was $5 but she charged me $7, so I gave her a $4 tip for the worse threading I've ever had. Tried to find a new place, but not returning. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mita! She doesn't do toner so don't get disappointed that she doesn't. She doesn't do the massage of the eyebrows, so don't pout because she didn't. You have been fair warned! SHE does an AMAZING job on your eyebrows, not too thin, not too thick and makes them look perfect! She is painless and quick. and for the price, she is very very reasonable. $6 for eyebrows. Well, that's not all she does, she also does facials, so call for an appointment. I still have yet to try this service. read more

Mira should not be in this business. She spent maybe 1 minute on my eyebrows and didn't even touch the middle of my brows. Eyebrows came out looking different from one another. Tapping me on the forehead instead of speaking to me like a person was annoying too. Stay away! read more

Seriously? DO NOT GO HERE. Just dont. I dont know how this place got so many great reviews..but its terrible I tell ya. I usually go to angel beauty in westminster (awesome spot) but I saw this place tucked in a plaza nearby my work n decided to try it out...the lady doing the threading seemed like she was in a rush even though she didnt have a single soul in the salon which made me felt rather uneasy...and it just got worse cuz she cut me! She just seemed to brush it off when she did, my brows turned out thinner than I wanted but oh well. A couple days ago I was on a time crunch and decided to stop by and give her another go, and pointed out that she cut me last time so please becareful. She goes on and tells me "oh you must have sensitive skin" well yea I think everyone is sensitive when their skin is being pricked and pulled at!!! So she goes on about her duty and sure enough she doesnt cut me once but twice this time. I sat up from the pain and she says "look check for yourself it might be painful but theres no cuts ok" I should have walked out then and there but I didnt want to walk out with uneven eyebrows...I should have anyway and fixed it myself cuz now im walking around lookin like a doofus with these cuts on my eyelids. One thing sure enough, I will never ever be back here again. She has a terrible attitude and she cant even do her job without her customers shedding some skin and blood. I have come in a few times and have resisted every time to leave this review. But given this has happened more than twice, here I am. I came in and have left after waiting 20 minutes with my eyebrows not done. Mita finished her client about 10 minutes into my wait, which is fine I have no problem waiting if you're doing your job. But then proceeded to stand and chit chat about drama with her friend after and look at stuff on their phones. Inconsiderate to say the least, didn't even check her sign in or see that there were people waiting. read more

I love the feeling of getting my eyebrows threaded. I used to pluck or wax, and there is just too much pain involved in those methods. I am so glad Mita came to Beauty Avenue, since I already frequent this beauty supply store fairly often. I've been to a couple of other threaders in the Cerritos area, but I'm glad that I've got her in my hometown. I'm pretty upset by my most recent visit and will not be going back. I have been going to Mita a while now and she used to be great, but my last two visits were horrible. She cut me my previous visit but I decided to give her another shot. Bad idea! She cut me all over the top and bottom of both my eyebrows and was extremely rough. I've been going to Mita for my brows for over a year now. She's always friendly and professional! I work crazy hours and she is very flexible in fitting me in on short notice. I have very sensitive skin and while my eyes are always slightly red after the threading, I've never been cut by her. A little cool cloth after the threading and violá, perfection! I have no problem with her listening to my request for a slightly fuller brow-she advises me on the best shape and I trust her. Didn't move my seat back. Just had me lay down. My neck was hurting. She also did not wash her hands. She didn't trim my eyebrows afterwards with little scissors for length or use any type of rose water to clean up afterwards . This is also the reddest I have been after a threading because it was pretty painful and my right eyebrow isn't as arched as the left. Also when I came in at 9:30 (supposedly she opens at 9) , the lady at the front desk had to call and ask if she was gonna be there soon because she hadn't arrived yet. Next time I will definitely pay the $1 or $2 more for a better place . read more

tried this place once and didn't like it much cause she mad my eyebrows too thin. I usually go to sandys threading in orange (amazing place and super FRIENDLY) but because I live up the street from this place I thought I would try it again. big mistake! first off she was on the phone for like 5 mins just talking away while I was in the chair waiting. still gave her the benefit of the doubt. I felt extremely rushed and she never trimmed my eyebrows or asked too. My eyebrows were so thin when she was done. never asked me for lotion or anything. I also got my chin threaded and she left so much hair. hurt like a biotch too when she did my eyebrow. Usually threading doesn't hurt me. You can totally tell she just rushes people through and doesn't truly love what she does. don't know how this place even gets good reviews. won't be coming back. A very strange threading experience, but my eyebrows looked good and the price was right. Mita works out of the back of Beauty Supply shop that has a small salon in the back. I walked in and was sent right back to meet her by the cashier. She did quick work, I paid her $10 in cash (directly to her, not the cashier) and walked out the door. I didn't appreciate the dry personality of the lady who does the eyebrow threading. I didn't get a " hello" or a smile. Made me feel like she doesn't need my business. Other places give you a tissue to wipe down your eyes. Not here. Didn't even get a little massage around the eyebrows. The final job was not impressive. read more

So glad I found Mita! I was longggg overdue to get my eyebrows done that I considered covering up for my laziness by saying I was "growing it out from a bad thread job from before." Well, I just fessed up and said it had been a long time and was ready to suffer the consequences. Gotta say, this was the quickest and painless threading I've ever sat through! No frills or even a wipedown afterwards but who cares.. do it yourself! Despite all the comments about how she hurt them and how she didn't do a good job I feel is very subjective. I actually on the other hand liked this place because when you first walked in, it's pretty fancy and parking is not hard.
