Yes, it's pricier than the mall, but the dress quality is outstanding. It's a real get what you pay for experience and outcome. From the set up to wait for a fitting room (this is an amazing operation) to our amazing stylist, Bella, my daughter's confidence started to return after weeks of painful dress shopping. We left with a dress and accessories and she even got to meet Ava Presley while we were there. We'll be back for future dances. We won't even bother checking another store. I felt the jacket and pants were slightly on the worn side- not bad, but not as crisp and sharp as I expected. I could see this was a rental by the way the sleeves and pant legs are altered. I haven't rented a tux in a long time, as I have had my own for many years, but sadly, I "outgrew" my most recent. So that is to say I've been spoiled by custom-fit tuxes since after I married 40+ years ago, until this one. Maybe I'm being too harsh? I will still recommend them, just be sure you go a day before you need the tux to pick it up in case it needs tweaking.

Few of the longtime employees remaining truly understand what has made Clothes Horse a Dallas institution. They greet customers, offer assistance, acknowledge people when they enter, and create the kind of upscale shopping experience that keeps customers returning to this gem of a store. Unfortunately, some of the newer employees don't seem to share that same customer-service mindset. The atmosphere feels different, and some of the attention to customers that once set the store apart appears to be fading. With that said, my loyalty to Clotheshorse runs deep, and I continue to have great respect for the manager and the few longtime sales associates. I'm hopeful that the store can recapture the level of service that made it so special for so many years. I'll keep giving it another chance because Clotheshorse has been one of my favorite Dallas shopping destinations for a very long time.

I was greeted politely and directed around the corner to the back, where the appraiser is located. That day, my interaction with that lady was uncomfortable. She had a condescending tone and a bad attitude. She even said one of my items was "jacked" and refused to take it. Overall, it felt like my presence was an inconvenience for her. Against my better judgment, I let her take the other items. Fast-forward about a week, and I decided to pay a small fee to retrieve my items from the store. Once again, I was promptly and warmly greeted by the store staff, who directed me to the appraiser again. It was the same appraiser that was present previously. Again, my presence is an inconvenience to her. I tell her why I'm there, and she tells me to go to the store portion. I tell her they directed me back here, so she calls the store staff via her phone and refers to me as a "little girl." I went back to the store portion and the same staff apologized for the miscommunication, and began helping me retrieve the items I had previously agreed to consign. The remainder of my interaction with her was very pleasant. It is quite disheartening writing a review like this, considering my only reason for doing so was the negative experiences I had with a single person.

I LOVED how the sales associate did a quick intake process asking what fabrics/styles I enjoy and then took my measurements before making recommendations. I chose (2) outfits but, ended up only selecting one as the alteration process would've taken longer than I needed. I pointed out a few stains on the garment and the staff was very helpful in attempting to clean them before steaming and placing it in my car. When I arrived at the venue however I noticed that the outfit had many more stains, including the skirt -- everything from pen markings (standard alterations process) to dirt, debris, and food could be found on the outfit. I could not return the outfit since I was in a different city so, was very disappointed given the price (450$+). The lady helping me get dressed onsite said my dress had likely already been worn either in a show and/or purchased by someone else and resold. Pretty upsetting. All in all, the selection is vast but the prices start around 350$ so I would be optimistic yet cautious in purchasing from here.

I recently had the opportunity to rent a tux from Mister Tuxedo for a fundraiser. Overall, I was pleased with my experience. The business model is intelligent, and the materials on offer are in excellent condition. It's evident that the owners take great care in selecting and maintaining their clothing. One aspect that stood out was the efficiency of the fitting process. It was quick and attentive, and I got the correct measurements without any prolonged waiting. The process was smooth and hassle-free. The cost of my rental was less than other rental shops in the area that I've used in the past. It was refreshing to find rental formalwear at a fair price without compromising on style or quality. Unfortunately, the bearded gentleman who seems to be in charge of the shop could use some improvement in his interpersonal skills. While he wasn't overtly rude, I found his baseline demeanor unwelcoming in spite of being efficient. It would enhance the overall experience if he made an effort to be a little bit more friendly. A smile and congenial greeting doesn't cost anything, but can go a very long way towards creating a more positive atmosphere and greater customer satisfaction. Ever since the new ownership has taken charge the quality of service and products provided has been exceptionally high. I went in on the day of needing a tux for my event. The best service and quality in Dallas! Needed a last minute rental and was in desperate need since most everywhere else requires almost two weeks notice. When I came to pick it up, everything was way to short. I didn't get the shirt I ordered. That didn't matter. We rushed and got everything right. When i started to out on my tux there were no cuff links. I called them. They said they would have some for me. I drove 30 min back in down pour rain. Missing part of my event. I arrived they just smiled and said here you go. When I returned the manager was there. I told her everything that had happened. I asked for a discount off my tux rental. She said she would take care of me. Nothing ever refunded. Needless to say they lost my business. This was the one on central expressway by 75.

You get overbuffed and over polished basic brown re-used garbage delivered to you instead. From the employees mouth. "Oh these must have been over buffed and polished. I will get you another pair and request newer ones to fix it". Newer ones were the same. Ended up buying shoes. Got sized well in advance and they delivered suit incorrectly for me and two groomsmen two days before. Mine was sent back and had to run around frantically day of waiting for UPS to get there. Spare yourself. Do not go here. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I consider myself stylish, and I like to dress well for something important. I met with Antonio and I was very impressed with his taste and his knowledge of fashion. Antonio walked me through the entire process of selecting everything I needed. Antonio listened to what I wanted, and he made suggestions that made things look great. I was shown everything and we found exactly what I needed. I was fitted and Antonio worked diligently to have it ready. I was treated so well. I had never had so many compliments on my look. The best part is that I am one of Antonio's customers now. When I lose the weight, I'm back to have my suit altered. I have made a great investment on something that looks fantastic and I am proud to wear. I will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my sons for a fitting.
