This is a well-run store and reflects that the owners' know vintage clothing and accessories well. I felt like I was in a costume museum when I was looking through the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s sections. There are lots of designer pieces from more recent decades. The jewelry cases have wonderful items organized by color. Prices are what I expected for high quality vintage outfits. Part I. 80s Window Shopping Part II. check out my review on Dolly Python, who was referred to me by the nice guys here at this establishment. Stopped in this vintage boutique to find something for the 80s Prom at The Granada Theatre. This was just the start of my journey to find a suitable "costume" for the prom. I loved everything this vintage store had! All of the clothes were great quality designer vintage clothes. They have sections of the years divided through the store. You can find accessories as well. The purses caught my eye here. They did have a few manikins with statement pieces that were oh so glamorous. Unfortunately, I was looking for something to wear every blue moon or so and I was budgeting for something a little less steep in the pockets. When I say designer the price tag is too. Come prepared to feel fresh off the 80s runway!

What isn't there to sing in praise of Vintage Martini? From pristine pre-Victorian bodices to label-bearing designer French robes circa 1912 to glorious 1930s Harlow-esque bias evening gowns to perfect Pucci silk knit dresses from the 1960s to... You get the point. This absolute treasure trove of fashion of all eras (up to and including this very season) was originally located in Carrollton, but came to the Knox/Henderson area of Dallas a little over a year ago... And boy, are we lucky for it. Vintage Martini is unlike the vast majority of vintage and consignment shops I've visited in my many years of collecting historic clothing. Firstly, that they offer the best of all eras, from the late 1700s to the current collections, is a rarity in and of itself. That the gorgeous pieces offered are scrupulously organized and in ready-to-wear condition is even better. The only exceptions to the latter are the beautiful garments in the "museum room", primarily populated by early vintage pieces sought specifically by archivists, collectors and designers. This is also where the contemporary couture items live, for the discerning client. The area is roped off- just ask one of the staff to take you through. Finally, the staff are wonderful at helping to form a great look for whatever event you are attending, vintage-themed or not. Owners Ken and Greg have a background in costuming/dressing, and they clearly love what they do. Beautiful clothing is meant to inspire joy, and that is very apparent in this fantastic shop. Visit, shop, and add some color and boldness to your wardrobe! Vintage Martini will make the experience both fun and adventurous.

Brought in some vintage (1920s-80s) and the owner was as gracious and appreciative as he could be. Go and find out!

A few…read morefriends and I wandered in here before going our separate ways after dinner, curious as to what this eccentric, red building was. Lo and behold, we found a decorated storage unit for nazism and miscellaneous BS. While the questionable "art" alone didn't bother us much, whoever was creeping around us, the person who I assume is the owner, did. It's a shame, because before we had the opportunity to acknowledge that this wasn't a place we should be in, we did find some items that were amusing, a couple of which we were prepared to buy. However, when one of my friends tried to compliment an item he had taken an interest in to initiate conversation with the employee/owner, mostly to break the eerie tension that only came from him staring at us silently from the other room, the owner/employee ignored him, only ever breaking his silence a minute later to bluntly tell the aforementioned friend to put an item down. After about 15 more seconds of receiving stares from this old man, feeling like we might become murder victims, we left, hearing the dead bolt lock behind us. I look forward to seeing this place being torn down.

I even brought a pair of name brand shoes that I've only worn once that cost over $250 easy. The cashier offered to buy them for $10 and hit me with the line all shady thrift stores and pawn shops say "this isn't what we are looking for but if you want we can buy it a low price" knowing full well they would turn around and sell it close to retail if I sold the sneakers to the store. Not only that, but I've seen the quality of their items, especially with the clothing selection and its always lacking except for indie brands they mix in with the other clothes and sell which are extremely over priced. Its a cool store to browse around and waste time in while walking around Deep Ellum drunk on a weekend, but that's all I can recommend because the store is a waste of time. There are plenty of online shops and resellers holding on to better items, and apps like Depop to sell your items at reasonable price.
