Parking lot of my nightmares, thrift store of my dreams. The store is always packed, parking is always full. It can be stressful just getting into the building but i can ALWAYS find something at genesis. Some things can be a little over priced but for the most part you are getting a great value for decent quality items. Endless selection of dresses, shoe selection is a hit or miss but i can usually find a good pair of shoes for work. Tons and tons of jeans, Madewell, American eagle, gap, etc. The front table is not something to miss either! Knick knacks galore read more

Genesis is one of the best hidden gems in Dallas !! I can always find something that I didn't know I needed. Plenty of home decor/ furniture and small appliance! I purchased a air fryer !! I've been late to the party but don't sleep on an air fryer.. it has changed my cooking routine into being really epic ! So easy and efficient to cook so many different items !!! read more

Genesis Benefit Thrift Store - Gourmia air fryer - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Dallas, Texas

We stopped by today to see what deals we could find. There was a "sale" rack with 1/2 price color ticket clothing. The clothes should have been recycled. Piling, stretched out collars, no deals here. Other items were on discount too, but the items were department store clearance at a small discount. Won't be back. You can get more for less at garage sales where they actually want to sell their items. read more

The day I went in here the prices were astronomical. I do my fair share of visits and I felt that this was a bit much but people were shopping and buying. They had different designers such as GAP, banana republic, Jcrew and I noticed some sweaters and fashions from the 80s and 90s. Please note my three star review doesn't necessarily mean bad, in my book it's OK. We all know a thrift store/second hand is hit or miss. I felt this was a miss for my particular visit. A lot of the misc. decor items for example I saw a mini elephant that was made of metal for $45. Some Pyrex for $25. The store is incredibly organized and very large. They have a tight parking lot and were selling some of the toy items and some smaller items outside that seamed to be reasonable but didn't find anything I was looking for. read more

Love this place! Purchased a few ties at a $1 each. Quality suits and shirts and great footwear.

Store full of great items, priced fairly, and all the proceeds go to a good cause. Highly recommended!

My husband and I love to thrift! While I understand this thrift store supports a great cause, the prices are very high. Like high enough that many things you can get on a sale rack, brand new. Also, they had a sales rack outside but then didn't want to honor the price. Another employee had to step in and say, "Yes, this is from the sales rack." The store is set up nice. It is easy to find great items, if you're willing to pay those prices. read more

Best thrift place in Dallas. Hands down. Small parking lot. You won't find a better store at these prices.

Great place to shop for high end thrifts! Lovely selection and great service. Also, lots of sales! read more

This is by far one of the best Thrift stores around, the staff is more than amazing. I visit very frequently for the high fashion Items for very good deals. If you know retail prices for some of the higher end designers, this is a steal. Marcella is one of the ladies that I have been chatting with for years when I come in she and another one of the ladies generally at the register (locs) make me feel so welcome when I visit this store. If you're looking for a well-organized secondhand experience this is the place. read more

Hands down the BEST thrift store I've ever been to! It is huge and has so many different items! They had a 50% women's dresses when I went, so I purchased 3 dresses! Also found a nice painting, which was 50% off! They had so many decor items that I wanted to buy and had to limit myself. The store is so organized and color coded, and it's super easy to find something in particular. Parking can be hard to find in the lot, but there are open spaces in the street 1-2 blocks down. I also drove through the donation station, which was very easy and manageable! read more

My favorite thrift store in Dallas. So many great brands to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Loved this store wish I was closer so I could go there more. Always fine things I am looking for and even things I don't need but want.

So well organized and a fun selection to choose from. I was also to find a number of great items.

The employees here are always so nice. I've been coming here since 2017 and I'm shocked I haven't reviewed it! Pricing is kind of all over the place, but they often run specials (most often women's clothing/shoes in my experience). Gets a lot of great donations but sometimes the prices are off their rocker so don't go expecting a gold mine of a deal (but what thrift store consistently has steals these days? Goodwill has dresses from target with clearance tags cheaper than their goodwill asking price so... you know). Definitely worth the visit for all the people who work there, regardless :) read more

Great store. Loads of items for all occasions. Clothes, shoes, housing, toys and more. No regular musty old smell from this 2nd hand store. It's clean and clear of any odors. Check it out read more

Higher end. Fairly priced. Well organized. Clean. Sick glasses. Excellent selection. Perfect for undercover outfits if you are a secret agent. But no secret agent discount available. read more

Genesis Benefit Thrift Store - Sick glasses and good shirts and also a sweet hat. - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Dallas, Texas

There's a lot to look through..a lot. However, it's regular schmegular clothing wise. I didn't find any purse/piece of clothing- nothing that I wanted to take home. This is a decent place to go off you want regular day to day clothes- things you can wear to the grocery store or to a casual workplace. I'm leaving. read more

Really enjoyed this store. Extensive shoe options for men which I have never seen in other thrift stores. The antiques were very beautiful and I was inclined to leave with a beautiful painting that was a at a very reasonable price. Definitely will be my go to spot now. read more

Great clothes but somewhat pricey. One wool had holes so be watchful. Great brands. Good jewelry.

Great store that benefits victims of domestic violence. Good prices and selection. Please donate and shop!

This is a hidden gem. We found this on yelp. It's tucked in the back of a shopping center. This store has a lot of cool finds. Very cleans and well organized. They had great name brand clothes in great condition. I found great kids clothes. I also found Tommy Hilfiger sandals for $6. You can definitely find cute things here. Great selection sometimes but there are too many high prices for secondhand items for the quality the items are making it harder to save money on basic needs. Found lots of rips and breaks in things the few times I've been there and they want TOO much for it. read more

Love, love, love. It's really the best thrift stores out there. Very tidy, you can easily browse through things. We got a St John set of 3 for $25???? I thought I'm gonna p.. my pants !!! I checked online, each cost $800. Okay, sign me up! Workers are also pleasant and helpful, nice atmosphere. They have a cute hidden spot for books, if you stand in there people can't see you. I can get lost in books! I turned over the pages of 3-4 books. Wish they would put a chair and let us read there. Haha! I enjoyed it a lot. Prices are great. What I also liked is that they have a changing area, which is always clean, clothes don't accumulate. As soon as you leave the changing area, someone comes and takes those clothes back to their appropriate spot. Love it! We left so happy! Thanks guys for working so hard here. read more

I love the idea of thrifting with intention and genesis is JUST that. Helping women in need while also fulfilling my thrifting desires. Today, Sunday eight 1323 at 4:02 PM I pulled up to make a donation with some pricey items only to be told by a staff member with a hat and glasses on that they don't accept donations past 4pm. Jammed packed thrifters dream come true. So many deals to be had in a tight space. I recommend you visit during the week to get through the aisles with your handfuls of $7.-12. sweaters, luxurious jackets, dresses, and jeans. Small section for the kids, and interior finds of art, lamps, and well made furniture. I was seriously giddy about their prices and quality of their clothing. And best of all proceeds go to domestic violence victims and you become a part of the solution whether donating or purchasing. read more

Genesis Benefit Thrift Store - New Talbots Blazer $12. - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Dallas, Texas

The prices here are ridiculous. The store is clean and organized and the workers are nice ..... but the prices make it hard to justify shopping here. $3 for ONE SEA SHELL ? a 24" small wooden table.... $250??? Handmade craft projects $10+??? USED Dollar store items priced at $3.00 ? If you are looking for a deal, go elsewhere ;( TJ Maxx is cheaper for NEW items. Not worth a trip in my opinion read more
