They didn't have what I was looking for but they definitely a variety of things mainly clothing related. Everything is pretty organized and miscellaneous amounts around the perimeter of the store. I have shopped at Casa View Thrift for years. I am an always, nicely dressed man. I don't ever want to look like I just fell off a trash truck like a number of people seem to like. I don't buy new clothes because there's no need to. My closet is full of designer shoes and really nice clothes because of places like Casa View Thrift. I can go anywhere dressed in clothes I have purchased from them, and I do. I want to always dignify my very pretty wife when we are together by looking good. I like coming here on Mondays, senior day, 30% off. I wish they would section the clothes by sizes. I wouldn't have to spend so much time looking, this would really help shoppers find what they need and still have time to see other things around the store. I have driven past this place for years and happen to go in randomly when they had a half off sale. Boy did it Not disappoint. They need to have more half off everything sales otherwise the prices are a bit steep for stuff you got for free. I got quite a fee items that were worth the half off price. I've been to so many thrift stores in the past few days I was starting to lose track of which one was which so when I passed by this one by accident today I decided to pop in just long enough to remind myself which one it was. I didn't find anything to buy today. They have lots and lots of clothes all arranged neatly on racks by color but some of their prices are kind of silly. I I saw shirts for under $2 but I also saw most of their little girls dresses for $7-8 dollars and one was even $13! I think that's overpriced for used dresses I don't care what brand they are. I was looking to see if they had any yarn and what little they had was in a big bin full of lots of various bags of different things including socks and other cloth items. I just didn't want to take the time to paw through all the plastic bags down to the bottom of the bin to see if there was any yarn I could use. I'm always looking for cross stitch pictures also but all their pictures and frames were lying flat on top of each other. With my keys and phone in one hand and the other hand for shopping it would have been very difficult to try and sort through them to see if there were any cross stitch pictures mixed in. Even if I'd had two hands it would have been difficult. There is a side room you should try to go through that has a lot of miscellaneous stuff where you might just find a a gem you can use. I saw a sign saying that they were having a Fourth of July sale for 50% off but I won't be in town for that. I don't see this as a store I would frequent unless I found more things that I liked to buy when I went in. read more

It was well organized and generally clean location, which is important for thrift stores to maintain. Not just become cluttered and piled upon each other. I dislike having sort through several piles just to get a glimpse at something. They make it easy to shop and browse, so I commend the staff for keeping it so well ordered. Some of the merchandise seemed a bit overpriced for being used. Had a wide assortment of items. Just nothing I was personally into. It's going to be a hit or miss. Didn't offer a whole lot for me, but would be a complete different experience for every individual. You dig deep enough you usually will find a few gems. read more

My church was asked to participate in providing tee-shirt shopping bags for a local food pantry, in XL/XXL sizes with minimal printing on them, and I have visited numerous thrift stores in the past few weeks trying to find decently-priced tees meeting those criteria. I struck the mother lode at Casa View Thrift. Most of their tees were priced at $1.91, and everything was in good condition. This is one of the best Thrift Stores in Dallas! The clothing is organized by type and color (all the blue shorts will be together, the black dresses all together, etc.) and the staff is always tidying up and keeping hangers from hooking together. I like that this store has plenty of dressing rooms and a few mirrors scattered about for trying on jackets and coats. The clothing selection is very good and I have often found items with tags still on! Great brands as well. On my last trip I was able to score several J. Crew button up shirts for my boyfriend - all under $6 and in perfect condition! The home goods selection is also worth going through (no broken plates and chipped glasses here) and the purses can also be found in fair condition. They now have a rewards program as well so you can get more savings! Love this store! Definitely make time to stop by if you're in the area! read more

Very nice store. Large, well lit, organized and easy to shop. The prices on Categories that interest me were fair . I found a number of great items in the men's clothing section. Some significant brands - Paul Smith, lucky jeans to name a few. All in very good condition Should note that this store had a TON of jackets, fleece type shirts. Mostly appropriate for DFW climate. Really uncomfortable atmosphere filled with careless, rude employees with zero customer service skills. The clothes are organized in a really lazy way that make it difficult to quickly find anything. Kids were running around recklessly screaming the entire duration of my visit with their clueless parents oblivious. Overall, the place felt unwelcoming and dirty. There were some homeless people I saw sleeping outside and it's going to literally be freezing tonight so I thought I would swing in and see if they had any blankets I could buy and take back to them. I bought several and when I was at the register I saw on Monday nights seniors get a discount- today is Monday. I told the clerk that these were for homeless people and asked if I could please get the discount even though I'm not 58 because it's for charity and would really help me out and also be a good deed and allow me to afford an additional blanket. She wasn't having any of it even after I kindly tried to avail to her several times. I would have been able to buy an additional blanket if she'd given me the discount. Someone literally went cold tonight because she was unwilling to press a button. I wasn't buying anything for myself- only blankets. I know they were under no obligation to do it, but it would have been a nice thing to do and all it would've taken is the press of a button that they would have done for someone else who was just older than me. read more

I thrift here all the time, mainly women's clothing and home goods, but I do check the men's and little boys' sections. Dresses can exceed $10, but tops, jeans, skirts, etc. are $3-4 on average. I would say the prices are low on the thrift spectrum (for the Dallas area). I can't remember a single time I have walked out empty handed. While it isn't likely to find vintage pieces here (there is a vintage resale shop in the same plaza), I still manage to find unique pieces I must have! The staff is always busy tidying the store and putting out merchandise. The store is very well organized in comparison to some thrift spots in the area. I have been shopping here for about 4 years and have found some very good deals. I have always tolerated the rude remarks from employees and just did my shopping and left, but Sunday March 4 ,that changed!! Last week when I checked out I was given a discount ticket to be used on the following weekend for 50% off. I was told it was good for anything in the store. I spent a few hours in the store looking for items to recycle and craft with.When I went to check out I was told the discount was only good for up to 100 dollars. I was not told that at any time,and that was not stated on my discount coupon. I did not see any sign in the store that said the discounts were only good up to 100 dollars and suggested it would be a good idea to make one and display it for public viewing.At that point the cashier started cussing so I asked to speak to a manager and was informed she was not available until Monday, but that was her policy and that is how it has always been. Needless to say ,my weekly thrifting will no longer include a stop at Casa View Thrift. Thank you for your rudeness ladies! Too many other stores that will welcome a weekly customer who spends 500 plus dollars a month on average ,in local thrift stores. read more

Horrible customer service. I'm new to the area and wanted to stop on while my family finished eating down the sidewalk. I arrived 10 minutes before the store's posted closing time. The entry door was locked. People were still checking out, so went in the exit door. I was told by 2 employees that I could not be in the store. I told them I just wanted to take a spin around to see what type things they had. They insisted I "could not be in the store!" I ask them why they closed early and they said they had their own clock. I got this posted before the stated closing time. Just lost my business.... Forever! read more
