Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.

They swap out items seasonally - you'll find plenty of winter coats in cold months and lots of bathing suits in summer. I've relied on this store for years for cheap kids clothes, affordable work wear, toys, jewelry and other little splurges. Look! I know the employees hate this, but don't sleep on the racks rolled out to the floor. They'll either have the freshest donations that no one has pawed over yet, or they'll have the oldest items with the heaviest discounts. They do post the color tags and what percentage is off each rather prominently throughout the store. This place is hit or miss. I frequently come and find nothing. My last visit I found Free People and other Nordstrom clothes with tags still attached. So, you never know!
