4 star thrift store…read more Clean, fair pricing, but just not a lot of styles that were appealing or fit me well. I guess all thrifting is a bit of a game of chance and being in the right spot at the right time. I came away with one new item for 4ish dollars, and most the fun with thrifting I feel is in the quest anyhow! I like the fact they have dressing rooms to try things on. Worth a visit. Employees were helpful in unlocking the fitting room to try things on.

I don't usually buy anything but that's just kind of the deal with any thrift store...sometimes they have what you're looking for, sometimes you find something special, but most of the time you just browse and don't find anything you want. That's fine, the browsing is most of the fun anyway. I have donated here before too, and they were nice about it.

Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.
