One particular employee with glasses and black hair did however intentionally catered to only Anglo Saxons by packing up their items in shopping bags instead of trash bags. An offer was made as a request for shopping bags but was denied several times. Eventually she caved in with the use of a grocery bag. Nice thrift shop where they sell higher end thrifted items. Seems like they take time to find good stuff to sell versus just anything they get. Don't get me wrong I like finding cheap deals, and here things are a little more expensive than a regular thrift shop, but there is cool stuff and lots of books, dinnerware, art you don't see everywhere. read more

NOT THE SAME! This used to be a decent thrift store with fair prices. BUT now it is fearfully overpriced! No dressing rooms. No restrooms! Clothes packed in so tight (because they can't sell them fast enough), overpriced shoes & purses, no sales. I go there less and less. FOLKS, instead, go to ACO (All Community Outreach) in Allen. Prices don't reflect reality. Examples, old navy tank top 12.99, current pricing at old navy, 9.99. Another, John Mark tunic shirt marked 19.99, similar style on sale at the Dillard's outlet store for the same price. Keep in mind that what is being sold is previously worn clothing not new in the examples above. Their store, their pricing and their decision but they aren't the only store out there selling preowned. When I was in the store on Saturday the older lady behind the counter came unglued when she saw that I had tried on the "used" blouse on top of my own blouse. She informed me that they did not have a dressing room and that I can't try on clothes. When you don't offer a dressing room, how do you expect customers to know if the item will fit or not without trying it on? When a dressing room is not offered, this is simply what customers do - they comprise and slip on the clothing over their own before purchasing something that might not fit. I wasn't willing to gamble the $20 for the blouse I was interested in not knowing if it would fit without harmlessly slipping it on over my own clothing. I spent the entire day checking out different thrift/resale stores in the Plano/Richardson area. This was the ONLY resale store where I felt like I was in a scene from "Pretty Woman." There are so many other resale/thrift stores to visit - this one is off my list! read more

I purchased two bags of mixed jewelry for craft, thinking of giving to an girly autistic teen who likes to make her own jewelry. It was embarrassing that one of the bags was just full of trash. For real!!! They were pieces of thin, cheap pieces "to make jewelry" but they were all glued to each other with a weird colored glue, I basically had to throw everything in the trash just because it was useless. I love charity stores. Sometimes I am in a mood for just donate some money, but sometimes I am in the mood to buy some bargain to myself or to give to someone. But when I buy, I expect at least to be useful instead of throwing money in the trash. With those 5 bucks I could have bought something much more decent for that girl. Hope the store stop selling junk, packed in tiny bags as useful craft jewelry. read more

Store has really changed but not for the good. New staff is particularly indifferent, one lady is just mean and rude. Areas are Organized but whole store is filthy. Considering their strict requirements for masks/ covid prevention it would be better served to clean the place, wash down everything and sanitize. read more

My first time here and I'm pretty impressed with all their furniture. It's relatively new, but kind of pricey. I don't think it's overpriced but it's not a place where you'll find a desk for under $100. They range from $50-600. I need to redecorate my room soon so I was looking around for good prices. I asked the lady and she said they have new stuff every week. There's other things too like clothes, shoes , and purses but it's more for older women and men. Weird little place, not bad, just weird! Though they call themselves "upscale resale" they kind of are, and kind of aren't. Lots of furniture, some funky grandma-mid-century, which I like, but not exactly mid-century modern, and at pretty high prices considering it's not in the best condition and not traditionally collectible. Some really 80's stuff too--and way overpriced there as well. Clothing all seemed to be in good shape, they have their regular section, where prices range from 5-10 per piece, which is not unreasonable, but it is more than the good will or SA or Thrift Giant. Then there's the boutique thrift, with the higher-end brands, and prices there seemed quite good! There's also a decent variety of plus and petite for such a small store, though I didn't see any talls. Bottom line: I imagine this is a good place to go regularly to score that occasional amazing "find", but if you stop in periodically, you'll probably be disappointed. read more

This is a garage sale without the trouble of going to people's homes. This business sells high-quality donations. Profits benefit the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center, a faith-based non-profit organization. I shop here because I believe buying used clothing is better, for the economy and the environment, than buying new. I can count on this place to have a nice shirt or pair of pants. read more

I found perfectly like-new jeans for $5.99 each. Seriously excited! Gap, Talbots (we're talking $70+ jeans!) and Eddie Bauer to name a few. I got adorable clothes for a new grandchild, also. There are some really great deals here. The proceeds go to help unplanned pregnancies. I love that. I tried to get a wardrobe into my car. I wasn't able to get it in but the clerk did a valiant job trying. I was visiting the area from hours away, so only had my car. I'm sad I can't drive down more than once a year to this store. read more

Lots of good quality clothing at uber reasonable prices. Also some gently used furniture and a few housewares. This thrift shop is run by the Lifesavers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports single and pregnant women in crisis.
