Out of 4 " Thrift " store visits,this shop was a surprise. Located in a 1960s strip center,the grocery next door that was originally a Safeway has now found new life providing middle eastern goodies. The rest of the area is in various stages of gentrification. Entering the store nothing special,grabs your attention. But,look closer and you'll find a clean, well organized shop with things you may even consider buying! As much a surprise to me as you,I picked up two brand new King Sized embroidery bed spreads!!! They don't have changing rooms, so you can't try on anything before you buy it unless you want to expose yourself to other customers on the sales floor. They also don't do returns or refunds. Basically you're just screwed if you buy something and it doesn't fit. This is incredibly unethical. If you're not going to let people try things on, you should allow returns and give refunds. Period. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB because I'm that tired of thrift stores like this screwing over their customers. read more

This is my #2 favorite thrift store in the North DFW area!! There are a four of them owned by the same people and each one is great in its own way. The way they organize their store is impressive! Turn over is fast. Everything has a price, 99% of it is clean, no damage or stains, name brands, and a lot to pick through. Of all the stores I visit, this particular chain of stores keeps their prices very low, yes it's still possible to pick up items for .99, $1.50 and $4.99. They also offer 50% off on certain days. This place always has gems. I never leave the store empty handed. I can't say I know a lot about the men's/childrens clothing here but the women's fashion is incredible. Very good prices as well and a decent sized selection. I have gotten so many staple pieces over the years from here. I hope they keep their new location! read more

We went here looking for some Christmas sweaters and it was nice that they separated all the Christmas stuff out (for men and for women). This place is huge and reminds me a little like the family thrift that was near here that closed down. There was a lot of stuff, but it wasn't sorted by size just fyi. Little organization inside, but that's just the journey of a thrift store. Prices are fair though. read more

This place is great! I usually come on 50 cent or 25 cent day. So many good brands and good clothes to choose from. They have a different price each day. Most is in good condition but always double check for stains etc. For people upset that they can't shop in the taped off area- that's for new stuff coming in and they are working on getting the clothes hung on the racks. Duh. Can't shop that area yet - the "new week" starts on Wednesday for them. Prices throughout the week are very reasonable. read more

It's a Thrift Store, what can we say? Some things are over priced, some are at bargain price. No consistency. I was charged twice for a pair of shoes and because I didn't catch it in the store, they will not reimburse me my money. Also, I agree with the most. I found something that I would love to have had and it didn't have a price so I couldn't buy it. Maybe the next person that finds it will want it as much as I did. Finally: I think the policy and procedure (SOP) of the store should change to: The cashier needs to call to the back to get someone to tag the item. It is not the consumer's fault the employees couldn't do their job. Is this a bait and switch situation where you find something and you can't have it so you are offered other items? read more

Very clean for a thrift store with extremely reasonable prices for the quality. The employees speak broken English, so it's very difficult to communicate if you have questions or issues. But otherwise, this store got me back into thrifting, and I'd highly recommend it. read more

By far my favorite thrift store. Super great prices. Definitely have found some of my favorite pieces there! Yes, you might have to search to find treasures, but that's the fun of thrifting! The lack of a fitting room sucks, but if you know what you like & your sizes in clothing you should be fine. Also to the review complaining about finding items without prices and not being allowed to purchase them... there are at least 2 LARGE signs that state their store policy on them. This place is very overpriced, they have signs that if the tags are tampered with they cannot sell them. I found a jacket that I really wanted and there wasn't a tag. The woman at the register refused to take it to the back to get it priced for us since we really wanted to purchase it. She said we would have to come next week to see if it's available. Which is understandable but I was still upset that she couldn't help us out. We were willing to pay whatever for the jacket. Overall this place isn't great at all, I don't recommend coming here. It's extremely overpriced, the people that work there are not helpful at all and are very rude. Save your money and go to the Salvation Army instead. The Salvation Army does half off everything on Wednesday's. That place is much more worth it than this one. read more

I wasn't the least bit impressed with this place. Pricing was too high for mall brands. I went around midday and tons of folks hogging the aisle with their carts not letting others get close to look too. I don't understand the attraction to this place. Now it is clean. I will give them that. Other than that I would never purchase anything from their when I can just buy a new garment from the store. Just no all around for this place. Here we are again with another AWESOME Plano thrift store! I admit I'm addicted! Tuesday afternoon I spent $36, which is unusually high for me at one thrift store visit. BUT- I snagged a PERFECT condition matched 3- bowl set of vintage pyrex for $6.96. Not my favorite pattern, but this price is ridiculously low! The rest of my purchase was 7 additional items, including a new with tags Gap pair of Chino capris that retail at $42. I admit they're slightly tight for my shape, but I can easily re-sell them at a profit! I also caught a Chico's top, a sharp raw silk blouse/jacket, Liz Claiborne slacks & jeans, along with a pair of Jones Studio gorgeous lined black dress slacks. So that was $29 bucks on these 7 additional items, ALL in great condition! Why shop at Nordstrom's, Macy's (one of my favorites when buying new- sale prices can be awesome!), Chico's, when you can have the "fun of the hunt" and catch great clothing at a consistently great thrift store?! read more

I love this store they have a lot of good deals but just FYI there aren't any dressing rooms so if your a female wear a tank top & leggings so you can try things on or I've even got one the skirts off the racks & tried on clothes under that. For the great prices & selections it's worth it!! For example last time I went I got AmericanEagle jeans $3.99, a Pink brand hoodie $4.99 & Hollister sweat pants & hoodie to match for $8.49. I just discovered thrift store shopping and probably won't want to ever pay full price for clothing again! This is the best thrift store on ave. K - it is smaller than one nearby BUT the selection is so much better. Last time I was here I found a Banana Republic top for $2, NY&Co black dress pants for $3, scrub pants and tops, and several cute (high quality) tops I loved. I WISH they had fitting rooms because their jeans selection is amazing - but I worry about buying jeans and not being able to try them on first. Be prepared to spend some time here... You do have to search, but you'll find some great buys! read more

Although they don't have dressing rooms, I go here every once in awhile to check out things. They have amazing finds, both in clothing and nick nacks. Prices are reasonable. During Holidays, you want to come to get those special decorations at great prices. I've also gone there to get decorator pillows as they always have lots of them. read more

WOW!!! Really WOW!! Prices are all over the place - yes, you might find a bargain, but over $16 for a 6" skillet! Albeit a nice skillet - it is a used skillet! That is just one example of their over priced items!! There were several others- was not worth the time it took to drive there!!! I've been shopping at this location since high school and it's still a great place to thrift. I've personally never seen them have sales - tags or store wide, but the prices seem to be more evened out so I don't experience sticker shock that often. Toys, plushes, books, clothes, home decor, I've found awesome items at awesome prices in almost every category here. Except furniture, very limited selection. Home decor seems to be priced a bit higher but the quality and selection is better than most thrifts in this area. Yeah checkout can take forever and staff isn't too friendly, the aisles are tight and maneuvering with a cart requires dexterity and communication with the person in front of you but come on it's a thrift store and you're not here for the service. I was not impressed. My granddaughter and i found several things we wanted but because the items were not priced they said they couldn't sell the items. Instead of pricing them then, they take it to the back of the store for pricing and put it back on the shelf the next day. So all that looking was for nothing. We won't be going back! read more

This is a great store to come to when you are looking for a particular item, or when you want to peruse consistently nicer quality items, without having to dig thru as much junk as offered at nearby competitor(whose name I won't mention, but I love just as much ;). ). You pay a little more than said competitor, but inventory is 60-80% less junk, with much more consistently cute clothes. SO you might average $3-6 per item instead of $1-2, but you'll spend 1/4 of the time. Still cheaper than some of the bigger national chain thrifts. Also has no dressing room. Unfortunately, the only mirror is in a cramped corner and is ALWAYS dirty,...I swear I'm tempted to bring windex or donate additional mirrors; would be totally worth it! Still one of the best places to nab great clothes. read more

Awesome thrift store! The place is HUGE. I was only there for 10 minutes and I found 3 tops I loved. It was also much cheaper than any other thrift store I've been to in Dallas/Plano. Many items were $1 to $2 (compared to $6- $7 prices I've seen at Goodwill...). Only downside is that there's no dressing room!! Which is rather odd.... My recommendation is to go in knowing your size! read more

Same as Animal Rescue Klub...maybe that's an old name? Anyway, lots of clothes, no furniture and few housewares. The clothes include some used name brands like Liz Claiborne, Charter Club, Chicos, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie, Polo...you get the drift. We have just had our first freeze so the sweater aisles were busy. I found a nice, barely worn bright red cable knit sweater out of 100% cotton for $7.57. Worth stopping in. read more

Pretty much the shittiest Thrift Store ever. There is next to no organization, so good luck finding anything. There are no fitting rooms, so good luck finding something that fits. And some of the prices are way to high for any thrift store, let alone one of this quality. Next time I'll make the drive to a better shop. This place is TINY and STUFFED. Two carts cannot easily get through the very narrow aisles. There are some gems mixed into the clothing, but without dressing rooms, I'm not willing to shell out any money for a guess. They did have some great purses and decent shoes. The prices are fair and the brands are good... if they added dressing rooms and wider aisles, this place would be a fabulous thrift store. read more

My wife goes regularly and shops for hours looking for that special item. She buys a lot of her clothes here, and if you are willing to look and take your time, you'll find something for sure. Also we found a couple of antiques that had some value to them here. So definitely worth checking out. I agree the service is not the greatest, and the trying on area is not enough, but it's still worth checking into. My daughter gets a lot of her childrens clothing from here. read more
