I think 15 years ago it was a tearoom and dead on arrival. Not anymore. I peaked around the corner to see what's the deal Lucille and see about 50 people having lunch. Obviously, someone has engineered a successful restaurant in here I came here trying to find someone interested in buying things I have for sale. It is exactly the type place I needed to be. A nicely currated group of " booths" with ,No Junk! That's right,this place is not a waste of time but a legit source of vintage/ antique collectables. Including furniture,figurines,lamps,mink coats,silver items etc etc. I did infact find a dealer that made me an offer on my stuff and a couple of more to contact about my other stuff. It's hard to sell things these days as interest has wained in with the younger generation. High Street Antiques is perfectly positioned to capture the target audience for those remaining appreciative and desirus of " Old, Lovingly Used, Sentimental" stuff. Today I purchased from 2 lovely booths that carried my Love Language...Blue & White, cause you see, that's my blood type. The first booth did not have a name, but it was 3 Ladies who were shushing up their booth, one name I did catch was Donna Day. The other booth was Ranch House Blooms. Both booths had lovely items of blue & white. Can't wait to purchase some plate hangers to hang my new flow blue plates which I cherish. Checkout my photo. With that in mind, the Plano Antique Mall was just meh. The flow of the store is interesting, no one greeted me when I entered-they just looked cranky. Three staff members passed me while I was shopping and not one smiled or greeted even though I smiled at them. Zero customer service. Many of the booths were great and well displayed. BUT so many were so overpacked it looked like one of those East Texas yard sales where the stuff is left in the yard 24/7. The booths have so much potential. This company should assist vendors in displaying items. 5,000 items will not fit in a space meant for 500 (slight exaggeration to make a point). It is ok to display some items and then switch out seasonally! Some booths were so chaotic and full that you couldn't even walk into them to shop. I didn't buy anything on this trip. Pros-lots to shop and look at. You never know if there is a treasure that you need. Cons-uninterested staff. So many messy, garage sale looking booths which made me lose interest pretty fast.

I found Little treasures all over the shop and stocked up on all kinds of goodies. Be sure to look at the ticket to see what the price is currently, and after certain dates the price is dropped for consignment items. I got decorative pillows, vases, decor of all kinds. We didn't make a reservation but just came in with our own hats- if you bring your own in there's a styling fee of $25. We picked out all of our goodies and Lakin took care to style it on our hats and make it perfect. We had so much fun! I stumbled into contact with Lisa as she had a piece posted on Facebook that caught my eye. I…read moremessaged her and she responded almost immediately and did so with a few of the questions I had for her. BIG POINTS FOR RESPONSIVENESS!!!! A day later I drove to the store in Lewisville to look at the piece and was greeted by Lisa upon entering. What a delightfully friendly and helpful personality. A quick tour of the various rooms and I was encouraged to take my time and explore. Lisa has a great space, great merchandise and is immensely helpful in understanding the history and value of each item. After settling on my purchase (yes the original piece plus more), Lisa offered to help locate a delivery service. She immediately contacted three options and let me choose. She arranged all logistics and kept me informed along the way through delivery. Lisa is amazing and I enjoyed working with her. Will do so again.
