I was looking specifically for some brass candlesticks. $30 for the pair. I can truly buy them off Poshmark WITH SHIPPING and pay less than $30 for a pair. Even cheap, chintzy feeling stuff was at least $10 for a single item. Silverplate at more than full retail in rough condition. I mean, it's common for silverplate to be overpriced at 'antique stores', but I normally find fair prices at the thrift. But, apparently, not anymore. - They were SO understaffed. They had TWO registers open! I stood for over ten minutes trying to get someone's attention to look in the jewelry case, and then some entitled jerk cuts in front of me to get their attention first. She knew I was standing there. So rude. So, I guess it's time to divorce Thrift Giant and spend my time at other thrift stores. They're honestly going to hurt the whole eco-friendly system by pricing themselves out of sales. Why would I go buy it in person when I could buy it for LESS from Poshmark or other online place?

The bigger disappointment was the selling experience. We brought in three full bags of quality items, and while nothing was said outright, the staff's demeanor made it feel like it was an inconvenience. The energy felt rushed and dismissive. They ended up taking only five items, and one entire bag was returned to us in the exact same order we dropped it off -- clearly untouched. It was frustrating, especially considering how positive my experiences used to be here.
