I've actually been coming here for a few years, and today I went for the first time in months. I am so disappointed. It has really gone downhill. - First of all, normally Mondays are the best sale days, but they had almost nothing marked down. But, okay, whatever. - The selection has become even more dominated by crap like SHEIN. It's been there for a while, but I could also find good stuff still. Better brands, vintage 90s pieces.. but today I just saw more absolute garbage than ever. - The housewares pricing has gotten RIDICULOUS. Asking HIGH RETAIL for stuff. I was looking specifically for some brass candlesticks. $30 for the pair. I can truly buy them off Poshmark WITH SHIPPING and pay less than $30 for a pair. Even cheap, chintzy feeling stuff was at least $10 for a single item. Silverplate at more than full retail in rough condition. I mean, it's common for silverplate to be overpriced at 'antique stores', but I normally find fair prices at the thrift. But, apparently, not anymore. - They were SO understaffed. They had TWO registers open! I stood for over ten minutes trying to get someone's attention to look in the jewelry case, and then some entitled jerk cuts in front of me to get their attention first. She knew I was standing there. So rude. So, I guess it's time to divorce Thrift Giant and spend my time at other thrift stores. They're honestly going to hurt the whole eco-friendly system by pricing themselves out of sales. Service is great! Color coded tags and frequent sales. They have a huge selection of EVERYTHING! You get so much for your hard earned money. If you are going to go, give yourself enough time to look at everything. They do a good job of organizing most items but some of it you still have to pick through. They have a large array of clothes. Some are insanely priced and some are cheap. I'm not sure how they determine pricing. I saw a carhartt long sleeve women's tee last week that was 24.99. You can buy it new for less. I like the discount tags since you can still get a good deal that way but you have to spend the time looking. read more

This store is huge! But clerk told me it is one f their smallest stores. Every day have savings on different color tags day I was there blue were 50% off white 25% off. There are racks and racks of clothes all separated by size and big labels at the ends telling you what that row holds. The dressing rooms are open an very clean, a clerk unlocks them for you. After getting home I saw one of my items still had a security tag on it so I had to go back to the store(why missing a star) but there was no issue with getting them to remove it. They're very rude to you when an item doesn't have a price. They called a female supervisor, an older lady over and she just said they can't sell it if it doesn't have a price. Took the item from me and threw it in a basket behind them. No apologies, no nothing. Also, I think their dressing rooms are going to be closed forever, Covid or no Covid. They treat customers like cattle passing through in this place they're not friendly. read more

Scout's honor - you can go to Wal-Mart and Target to find better pricing on most of the crap I saw in here today. I used to frequent this store once a week but haven't been in 5 months...why? Attitude of staff: They bark at you that the store is "closed" 15 minutes before closing. (this happened to me more than once) The fact that only one or two speak English can be frustrating. The whole no-price-tag thing lack of service has been well documented in other responses, so I won't elaborate. My own theory regarding this is that the staff remove tags from the items they personally want to purchase so they don't get sold. Again, just my opinion. Pricing: Not bad if you go on 25% off day. Problem is, the good stuff gets picked over early in the day. read more

Don't waste your time taking your donations here. The guys on the garbage truck handle trash with better care than this place. Threw freshly laundered and folded clothing onto their large trolly like kitchen trash. A beautiful heavy and $$$$$ mirror, they threw on another trolly that smashed the plastic child toys the prior donator left. Told them the mirror will not stay on the trolly, after telling him three times, he moved it to side off the trolly, striking it on the loading dock. Why bring good items well cared for to be torn up? Throw them to the curb for the trash guys or bring them elsewhere. Never again will be coming here! read more

This place is a blessing!!! The whole concept is amazing.. it not like the regular thrift stores. You can really find good deals here. I know I did. Their customer service needs some improvement, specifically because most of the workers don't even speak English so it's hard to communicate if issues comes up... I challenge anyone to find the tag color that's on sale for .99. I asked an employee if they put the sale tags in the back and she said no. But I went in yesterday and noted lots of pink tags. Came in today and pink tags are .99. There are no pink tags on the racks or shelves. And the racks have huge gaps indicating things have been removed. It's ridiculous. And the employees are rude. If you see one heading towards you, you better get out of their way as they will absolutely not give you the right of way! read more

However IF the perfect shorts do not have a price tag on them, THEY REFUSE TO SELL THEM! My least favorite Thrift Giant location to date. Prices seemed inflated here and the music was even louder. It was hard to find an associate to help unlock the fitting rooms and check out was a hassle with confusion all around with the staff. First time to a thrift store. Not what I was expecting to see. I had an idea that it was used item. Didn't think I would see stuff that looked like it was picked out from someone trash or dumpster. DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT FREQUENT THIS PLACE!!! Staff is terribly rude and the negative morale in this place is perpetuated from Corporate to Management to Cashier. I shopped here for the first time; I typically donate, but today I was shopping for a solid black long sleeve crew neck black slacks and belt, for a new jobs training I have later today, I initially went to Target and the cost was almost $120 for the total, I then decided let me go shop at thrift giant, BIG MISTAKE!!! I found everything I needed, however one of the items wasn't tagged, the cashier immediately put the shirt behind the counter refusing to sell the shirt I spent over 30 minutes in the store looking for, I asked to speak with the manager; the manager was overtly rude, when she could not understand my perspective from a customer angel and kept regurgitating I can't sell you the shirt, I decided to call corporate and end the back n forth with the manager because that is completely a lack of customer service and hospitality, also I am a black man, as I am awaiting corporate to answer the phone, in walks 2 police officers, the staff of this store that I might I add donate to called the police on me, no words need to be said in this review after that, I will NEVER DONATE, SHOP, SUPPORT this store ever again because this is what they really stand for, every body who has a business in the name of God don't operate in the ways of GOD in kindness so they are nothing short of imposters, not serving the community, rather being of detriment to it so to the ground with this business. read more

When it was owned by CCA it was great and there were lots of great values to be had. But that is no longer the case it's predominantly overpriced garbage many items that they sell from housewares either don't work or damaged. Check the clothing that zippers work and that all the buttons are there because so many items are broken and they have no return policy. With a little bit of effort, you can get better deals at regular stores on sale or clearance and the items will be new and have a return policy read more

I love shopping here. But today is the second time that is insinuated I changed the prices on the items I took up to the register. I found a dog kennel mind you an incredible price $3.99 it had a hanging tag on a zip tie just like the other ones. It was blue. Mind you I found it like that so I ran to register to claim my find. Right away they questioned the price called their manager Andy over and he took it the back and I said I wanted it and he didn't explain he was just going to go to the back and just change the price $24.82 and make me look like I'm an idiot. It wasn't my fault that it was priced wrong and on top make me feel like I'm the one at fault. This is the second time this has happened to me. So buyer beware. They will change prices in your face just because someone in the back made a mistake. And it seems their policies change at will not set rules. Such a bad experience today. Cant say I was impressed with this thrift store... I was hoping it could be a new favorite but the prices weren't good. 2 stars for the good organization of the clothes and discount on sunday because that was a plus, but the prices were just way too high for a thrift store. most jeans were around $15, most tops were around $5-10 or more if it was new with tags. the cheapest tags I saw were $3... compare that to the store I usually go to where you can find a nice top for 89 cents. the selection of clothing wasnt bad and there were some nice things I saw but for the price it wasnt worth it. I did end up finding a nice silk top for $4 which was comparable to my thrift store but other than that I was pretty disappointed. read more

I'm disgusted by what I heard today from an employee. She wore glasses and had dark hair with some highlights. She stood at the end, which was already difficult to hear, and calling "Next", but then turned to a customer and made a comment about the people not hearing her because they didn't speak her language. She continued by making an offensive comment stating "last I checked we were in America". Let me remind you this was to a customer standing to get jewelry and others nearby heard what she said as well. I visit this store once a week, have found some great bargains. You just have to be willing to spend a little time and look. The only reason I held back a star is that the music is stress-inducing loud. I seldom complain anywhere, but finally spoke to the manager last week, who kindly turned it down. Yesterday, it was blaring. I chalked it up to my 60-plus years; I still love rock, but you know, we oldsters can be grumps. But then in the long-sleeve women's tops aisle, a 20-something woman turned to me and said, "I hate how loud this music is". A kindred spirit! I went over and voiced a gentle complaint to a cashier, and the music quietened...marginally. Some gentle new-age music would lend to a more serene shopping experience, and induce people to spend more time in the store. Try it for a week and ask for comments?
