Ive been coming here for years both as a donor and a shopper. Prices have gone thru the roof. Example: stopped by to shop for a used carryon luggage. Their carryons are mostly priced $29.99 for a used carryon, which is crazy. Went across the street to Goodwill, bought one in better shape for $3.99, which is what all of this Goodwill's carryons are priced at--every one is priced less than four dollars whereas they run almost $30 at Gracebridge. This terrible pricing structure is reflected in the empty parking lot. Ive complained to the people that work there, many of them agree but say they have no power to influence how things are priced. NEW/UPDATED REVIEW (JUNE 2026): (This review is intended for shoppers' use. We can't comment on the experience at Grace Bridge of Frisco as an item donor.) At one time, we would have told you GBF was the best thrift store in Collin County, but they have really gone downhill. Here's what's going on: 1--The merchandise never changes. You can visit in March and come back in June and everything looks practically the same. 2--No employees. When we visited on June 18, 2026, there was literally no one at the cash register. Shoppers were walking in and out unimpeded. We are certain a few customers probably took advantage of the situation to help themselves to 100% discounts. 3--The restrooms used to be nice, but on our last few visits they've been closed for no apparent reason. Just chairs set up with tape blocking the whole section off. 4--Some nice furniture, like, for example, a nice gaming chair (computer chair) marked with a red "sale price" tag of $178: if that's the SALE price, then HEAVENS TO BETSY what's the regular price? 5--There's always a loud voice recording (pre-recorded) that comes on over the loudspeakers every 5 minutes, talking about the latest sale of the day... the voice talks fast and it's hard to understand what it's saying. Instead of the constant loud interruptions, maybe put some SIGNS or signage up around the store... to let shoppers know what the sale actually is? 6--This time around, the store just felt more run-down and sketchy than usual. It seems like maybe they're close to going out of business. There's just a moribund feel. Our strongest recommendation, at this point, is to bring your thrifting adventures a few miles away to All Community Outreach in Allen. While generally more expensive, the experience of shopping at ACO is so much better. My original review (several years old): On an average day they have better and nicer things than Goodwill, and yes their prices are high, but they often run 50% discounts. This location also has nice restrooms. Grace Bridge has more furniture than Goodwill and more oddball knickknacks like a collectible Star Wars BB-8 robot I picked up for less than $10. The selection of Bibles and other religious books is nice, and they have a nice collection of secular movies and books as well. The one area I'd give Goodwill points for is, maybe in 2 out of 100 trips to Goodwill, I've found something really special... like a vintage IBM typewriter or a 1980s Commodore 64 computer system. Grace Bridge doesn't have a lot of stuff like that, but they have more everyday-ish items that are nicer (and less picked-over) than Goodwill. Minus one star for the grease pencil stuff they mark the prices on their products with. It's nearly impossible to remove, and trying to do so will mess up a lot of book covers, CD cases, etc. read more

I don't usually go out of my way to post a negative review however this place merits one. They have a huge sign in the window saying everything in the store 50% off today. Went it to shop, found several items we liked Went to check out and 9 of 10 items we were GOING to purchase were not 1/2 off. In fact, only select color price tag items were 1/2 off. I questioned the sign and was told that the make announcement in the store detailing what items are discounted. Sorry, the sign on the street is what brought me in the door. While there, one volunteer was told they can take their 15 minute break but could not leave the store, only allowed on 30 minute breaks. As a "Christian, charitable" shop I'd say they are less than Christian or charitable. Cannot recommend and will not be back nor donate to them. read more

It pains me to write this review but the prices at this store have gone out of control. They receive all these goods at zero cost, and their prices reflect the level of a well curated, mid-tier antique shop that buys inventory in well organized Estate Sales and EBay. About 30% of the store is filled with very, VERY dated decor and housewares, and also items that exceed the current prices of those items at stores like Target, Walmart and the Dollar Tree. They do have 50% off some days, and even on those items are still overpriced. They also have designer days; I browsed their selections on Feb 7/2024 and there was a scratched fake LV tote bag (stitching was unraveling, terrible and material was so obviously cheap) for $350! I hope they let people know they're buying a replica and not the real thing, because at $350 someone might think they're gettin an amazing deal! That bag should have been $50 and even that was a stretch. This used to be the greatest thrift store in Frisco, but with the popularity of thrifting the greed has taken over. Pity. read more

So disappointed. I have been donating and shopping here for at least 3 years. Today during my donation drop off I was told with my donation in hand that I had to wait while the car in front of me decided what they wanted to donate one by one for five minutes. I had planned to go shopping indoors after. Unfortunately, I will not be returning again. I drove directly across the street and the Goodwill even with several cars in line took my donation with no hesitation. Sad to see this place go downhill. read more

Overpriced, manager and staff were RUDE. I was volunteering and this woman i think named Veena was so rude and started yelling at me and my friend instead of kindly helping us and guiding us to the right direction. The clothes were color coded so we assumed that we should do the same as someone has also asked us, but when we told her she complained and continued to degrade us and tell us how long she's worked and how experienced she is. She then berates us and calls the manager and the manager did the same. Instead of talking to us nicely the manager only answered with "Im the manager, so i say so". Mind you, we are taking time out of our day to volunteer out of the kindness of our hearts. Anyways after talking to the manager she becomes slightly nicer and we told her about Veena, when she left, Veena came back up to us rudely and said "I heard what you guys said about me." Not only that, she then proceeded to talk bad about us to other people. She's like in her 60s degrading 17 year olds in front of the customers. It's disgusting she treats volunteers this way, imagine how she treats other staffs and customers all because they're younger generation. Anyways, this was terrible, the work environment is terrible, and staffs are horrible. She doesn't even do anything but complain. Also, they're charging insane amount of money for used clothes. Pros- GREAT CUSTOMER service, organized, big store, lots of inventory! Furniture was decently priced. The young man moving furniture around was a great help as well as the cashiers. Very friendly. Cons- outrageously over priced on certain items- like home decor. Their prices are like a Ross store or Marshalls for home decor and frames. It's better off if you find another thrift store that's cheaper for these items or buy it new. I walked in on a day that EVERYTHING was 1/2 off. I bought a Sony dvd player for only $4 and a few DVDs. I really wish they would stop stapling price tags onto clothing, that creates holes and is so difficult to remove! There are so many better ways to attach prices. A majority of the Louis Vuitton, Gucci and designer bags they had on the designer day sale were fake, but they don't make this known. She says this is a drivethrough and why didn't I come through the drive through, and now other people will walk up. Then she asks me if I know what a drive through is. As an avid Thrifter in the DFW area, it's always exciting to find new thrift stores! My friend actually found this store and told me about it on our way to Goodwill in Frisco. It's situated literally across the street from goodwill behind the 99 Cent Ranch grocery store off Preston so if you're having a thrift day, this is perfect. It's very inviting walking in. The initial display is very well put together and the signs give you a good look at the day's specials. The store is very well organized and clean (which I really appreciated). It had everything organized and categorized from CDs/DVDs to books to bags to household items. It was really nice to see!!! The store was very easy to maneuver around and there was even a separate room for furniture. The employee came over the loud speaker several times to advise us of the special for the day (clothes and shoes $2 and everything else in the store 50%). It appears as if they have everyday specials. What really stood out to me is that you can even shop online. I did a pretty quick scan of the store since it was a little late in the evening and I just wanted to see what they had. I didn't find anything as I was looking for specific items but will definitely add this to my thrift list for the Frisco area. As I was typing this location in there appears to be on in the Plano area as well. I'd give it a 5 star for cleanliness, easiness to maneuver and selection. Very nicely done. read more

Prices are generally too high unless there's a sale. But sales are frequent and vary day to day based on tag color, regular tag price, etc. There's some nice stuff, but a lot has stains or tears and you really have to look to be sure you aren't buying something unwearable. Also, no changing rooms, so your item may or may not fit once you get it home. But the people who work there are really nice, and overall it's decent. read more

I used to drive out from the city to browse the square, and shop this store in particular, afterwards maybe having lunch, ice cream, or a snow cone there in town. It made for a fun, low cost day trip that my teen daughter and I really enjoyed. The store was clean, the merchandise was displayed well and continually rotated with incoming items. It was full but there was enough space to navigate through without feeling claustrophobic. The temp inside was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Honestly the best resale shop I've ever shopped. My husband teased me calling it my favorite store. I guess it was. Important word, was. Post COVID the prices in this store have climbed ridiculously. Someone in charge has been bitten by the greed bug. Many items are now more than they would cost me new. What's the point of shopping resale now? It's sure not worth it for me anymore with gas the price it is to travel for these costs. The value just isn't there anymore. Good lord, did the landlord double the rent? It's interesting to me that a charity based company would start to gouge their community during a time of greatest need. If anything, now should be the time to be more charitable to the public, out there struggling to make ends meet. My daughter & I will miss our monthly day trips to Celina. For a Good Will style operation, this one is big & roomy with too much stuff to look at. Majority of items were in very good condition, clean, and still functioned well. Large restrooms were clean, but my roadtrip copilot said women's restroom could use wallhooks to hang a purse. Brand new lampshades are expensive, come here and look at these used ones, all in great condition. Rolling luggage? Yep, plenty. All types of clothing, lots of cargo pocket shorts, all sizes. Women's shoes, all types. The front counter has small expensive items, jewelry, fashion accessories. What has happened to this store?? They used to have decent prices on most things but lately they have lost their minds!! They sell broken items, out of style items, junky dollar store items and ALL of them are over priced. If I wanted to pay $15 for a shirt, I would go to Marshalls and buy it new! To whoever owns this place you are either complacent to its inevitable decline or naive to the goings on at the place. I've never been to a donation shop that has nothing of value out. There are never name brand purses in good condition, video games of value, never have I seen a video game console for sale, no baseball bats or gloves, forget name brand kitchen appliances. What's up with $12 used coffee cups??Seriously, do you have an auction site like Goodwill that these go to or are the employees buying (hopefully buying) all the good stuff before it hits the floor? Why would anyone ever come here knowing there will be nothing out worth buying. There's trusting your employees and then there is just being complacent in their actions. I live just up the street from this store and up until today I have purchased here. Not anymore. This is (from what I have been told in the past) faith based store supporting local ministries. Unfortunately the way they do business is NOT. Two pieces I picked up yesterday had either no price at all or questionable pricing on it. Once at the register, .... (Let me stop and mention the cashier was the sweetest) I explained I'd found a pillow (no pricing on it) and a button down shirt brand name unknown that had a tag I thought read $6.99 but once at the register I looked closer and some chicken scratch read $16.99. (I also had a much nicer Perry Ellis button down for $7.99 which was correct pricing.) Cashier called Mgr for price check. A glass vase I never even thought twice about was marker $2.99 but the Mgr rudely glanced at me snickered and said "umm no, I would never mark that $2.99, that should be $12.99" I snickerd back and said well you can keep it then because Kroger is cheaper than that and the vases are thicker. She then proceeds to tell the cashier the unknown named shirt is $16.99 the rolls her eyes at me. I told the cashier I'd kindly pass on the shirt at well. The pillow was $2.50 and I'd take that. The cashier went to put the refused shirt and vase back behind her and the Mgr snatched the shirt from her hand, looked at me and said "so you ain't buying this one?" I told her NO. I have a Perry Ellis right here that is clearly nicer, almost half the cost and of less wear than the $16.99 shirt" she huffed, threw it over her shoulder and stomped away. All this to say, IF this is a faith based resale store, you're employees should reflect this. The mgr I had dealings with today was just shy of an ill-minded street walker selling fake Rolex watches outta their filthy jacket. Oh and using the word "ain't" sets a whole new tone, "just sayin". Reasonable pricing in a resale shop is important and keeps merchandise moving so that the store items can rotate. This store is OVER RUN with merchandise that could sell quickly if priced accordingly, however, that is not the case, and many items were returned to the shelf due to the overpricing. I will be driving a little further from here on but it will be worth it in the long run. read more

My wife and I often visited Grace Bridge to buy available items and repurpose them. Now, we stopped shopping here. We realized many new kinds of stuff from Walmart or a dollar store could be purchased with less money as we spent at Grace Bridge. I suggest top management to review pricing methodology and procedure for this local store in order to attract buyers, supporters from communities. Last 2 years, my wife and I donated our goods to support Grace Bridge. I also witnessed other shoppers addressed the same thoughts. My point is that people will interest in buying new stuff for equal or less money than buying old stuff at Grace Bridge for an equal or higher amount. So it is up to Grace Bridge's owner or the top management to focus on the original mission, to set guidelines on reasonable/affordable pricing to encourage more local supporters. Extremely rude, belligerent, un-Christian, probably racist staff. I recently heard about Grace Bridge from a neighbor and have shopped at the Frisco location a few times because I like their business model of donating 100% of profits to worthy causes. Unfortunately today I experienced extremely rude behavior from a staff member named Ina (not sure of the spelling) while she served me at the cash register. She responded to my questions first with impatience and then with rudeness. My questions were: Are all these items half off today, and do you need my telephone number for logging points, because I heard the employee at the next register asking her customer. When I asked the rude employee for her name her attitude turned even more belligerent and offensive. Her first response with a major attitude was "why should I give you my name". Then she gave me her first name and then with a sarcastic, threatening attitude she asked me if I wanted her last name too. It was quite a frightening experience especially for an Asian-American. Another staff member (with a headset) did not do much to redirect the rude employee or to control the aggressive, belligerent behavior. I expressed that I was shocked at this rude behavior especially at a "Christian" store where Christian music plays overhead. If I could give 0 stars I would. Have come here regularly for the past 4 years. It use to be such a good store. But now it is honestly HORRIBLE. Mostly due to the MANAGER (DIANNA) who rudely walked away after asking her why a bookshelf from ikea was marked for $45 but is at ikea for $39. When I told the associate working there about it she told me she would go get a new price for me and said "sorry about that". Then when the manager walked out she had the rudest attitude and showed me her phone where she had a picture of it from Google and said it's listed for $149. I proceeded to tell her it is on the ikea website $39 and she walked away from her rolling her eyes. Lady got caught. And wouldn't even do anything about it. I wouldn't be surprised if this place gets in trouble for something in the future. Totally taking advantage of people and just selling things in the back. DONT DONATE HERE!!!
