I was a little worried when Thrift Giant took over the store, as I was afraid that prices would skyrocket however that does not seem to be the case.

It has really gone downhill. - First of all, normally Mondays are the best sale days, but they had almost nothing marked down. But, okay, whatever. - The selection has become even more dominated by crap like SHEIN. It's been there for a while, but I could also find good stuff still. Better brands, vintage 90s pieces.. but today I just saw more absolute garbage than ever. - The housewares pricing has gotten RIDICULOUS. Asking HIGH RETAIL for stuff. I was looking specifically for some brass candlesticks. $30 for the pair. I can truly buy them off Poshmark WITH SHIPPING and pay less than $30 for a pair. Even cheap, chintzy feeling stuff was at least $10 for a single item. Silverplate at more than full retail in rough condition. I mean, it's common for silverplate to be overpriced at 'antique stores', but I normally find fair prices at the thrift. But, apparently, not anymore. - They were SO understaffed. They had TWO registers open! I stood for over ten minutes trying to get someone's attention to look in the jewelry case, and then some entitled jerk cuts in front of me to get their attention first. She knew I was standing there. So rude. So, I guess it's time to divorce Thrift Giant and spend my time at other thrift stores. They're honestly going to hurt the whole eco-friendly system by pricing themselves out of sales. Why would I go buy it in person when I could buy it for LESS from Poshmark or other online place?

I've driven across town with nice quality but unwanted clothing and household goods and the experience ended up feeling pretty much like I was just throwing them, unwanted, into a dumpster. Not so here. The drop off location is well marked, clean, and easy to access. The fellow at the donation area was very friendly and helpful. He opened up 15 minutes early for me, and, despite a sign saying they weren't responsible for unloading, was more than willing to carry loads in. I was impressed with how large and how clean and neat the inside space was. I didn't go in the store, so can't comment on it. But if you've been looking for a donation site where you'd be putting gently used and cared for clothing to good use, I'd recommend going out of your way to come here.

Especially on purses, shoes, and furniture. A lot of it felt wildly inflated, even compared to Goodwill. I kept browsing out of sheer curiosity and couldn't wrap my head around some of the tags: used plastic shoes priced at $40+, a worn out Michael Kors bag for $30. The clothing section seemed more reasonably priced, although I didn't notice any higher-value brands to really justify a comparison. Overall, this place feels very hit or miss. You might stumble across a decent find, but anything with a recognizable name seems to be marked up far beyond what it's worth.

I've been shopping here for months, but after today, I won't be coming back…read more On my way into the store, I found a really cute table near the front and placed it in my cart. About 10 minutes later, while I was still shopping, three employees approached me, surrounded my cart, and one of them removed the table without any explanation. Confused, I asked what was going on, and that's when they told me the item had already been sold. The issue is, there was no "sold" sign on the table, and it was sitting in the front area mixed in with other furniture that appeared available. As a customer, there was no way to know it wasn't for sale. I honestly got the vibe an employee wanted it. I asked to speak with a manager and explained how uncomfortable the situation felt. Not only was an item taken directly from my cart, but the way it was handled--being approached by multiple employees and not given an explanation upfront--was frustrating and unprofessional. I also questioned how something could be considered "sold" while it was still out on the floor with no indication. I was told it had already been purchased by someone else, and they took it away. What made the situation worse was that there was no apology--just a repeated explanation of what happened on their end (understaffing) which only added to my frustration. They had no employees to help the customer however, 3 employees were able to surround me in the aisle? I've never had an experience like this at a thrift store--or any store. Typically, items are either clearly marked as sold with a tag or removed from the sales floor. This situation felt disorganized and poorly handled. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores in the area, but based on this experience, I won't be returning.
