Clothes Circuit is a very cool consignment shop in Preston Center. Love the name by the way. I came here for the first time on Monday. The store is decent sized and has a lot of clothes options, along with shoes, bags, and jewelry. Some of the pieces I feel could be a bit better, however these are designer brands and the condition of all of the clothes were in good condition. Some of the shoes were questionable. There was so much wear on since of the bottoms of the shoes (size 11 specifically) that it was odd how they were even selected to be sold here. This may be because of limited inventory at the time, but the price seemed inflated considering the condition of some of these items. I wish they had a better selection of size xl and up but again, they're at the mercy of the inventory that they receive. Still, I managed to get a nice pair of Mignonne Gavigan earrings so I'm pleased. read more

Value and ease of disposing high quality clothes far exceeds the dimly dink offer that requires that everything including newly dry cleaned suits and dresses be folded in boxes. from a salad perspective, looking around, waiting for them to appraise the clothes I brought in, they charged Cadillac prices for pretty mediocre clothing. Excellent variety of clothes and styles. Upon entering you're immediately greeted by a friendly smiling face and they allow you to shop and enjoy. Higher end designers such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, burberry etc items are in the cases straight ahead of you and to the right. Even the higher end designer shoes have their own room which is really nice. They have everything from a necklace to espadrilles to lululemon workout pants. Which i noticed them have tons of lulu pants for $40 and in amazing shape which is more than half the price in stores. You have to chase people down and ask them for their help. When I did, I felt as though I was inconveniencing them. This place has really cool items on consignment, but the pretentious attitude from the staff was off putting. June 18, 2023/ O carried items to Clothes Circuit to sell to the store. They no longer "purchased" items. Though it was not advertised at the time. Has obvious been removed. After looking at all of my items. They chose 'five'. Before they chose the five, I asked the question, could I pickup after amount of time. The answer was "no". They automatically donate to a charity of their choice. No they could not provide the names. Upon further questions. The did agree that they would send a receipt for tax purpose. An endless array of excuses. My email address was never to have a email received. In the end they supposedly sold three item, and was to get back to me on the others. Not a single communication. The service and appropriate disclosures suggest discriminatory practices. I would not visit the store again. read more

The store seems small but it's actually pretty big! I spent a great amount of time sorting through one side going through each rack just about since they had discounted items based on the tag color. When my hands were full of items, I noticed that I missed the entire other half! That side had even more deals on workout clothes, jeans, pants, shoes and purses! As for the other reviews on the customer service.. I didn't really have a bad experience with the staff, but I also didn't try to sell any items or ask that many questions. I feel that when you're thrifting, what you get is what you get. Please don't come here expecting an A+++ shopping experience.. if that's what you want, you should probably drive yourself to North Park. Complete waste of time! I followed the instructions on the website to consign. When I arrived, no one was attending the consignment area. When I just about gave up and was about to leave, someone appeared. She told me it would take 10 minutes. I left, walked around the store, and when I came back, I found my clothes untouched and unattended. I waited even MORE and the same woman came back with excuses and handed me some sorry $20 coupon to shop in store. By the way, my items were of much better quality and condition than many items in store. I hate my time being wasted and ultimately being judged by how I look. I will not be back and will spread the word to my family and friends. read more

I have been taking my clothing and handbags to Clothes Circuit for several years. And I have purchased more from Clothes Circuit than I have consigned! Because I was on my lunch break from work, I chose to drop my items off and have them donate the items they decided not to take. Among the items was a brand new pair of Paul Green heels that had been purchased 6 weeks prior for $350. They had been worn 2 hours to an event. They hurt my feet so I decided to sell them. They donated them..... wow. I realize that is their prerogative but all these years I have never experienced this. I'm curious if they even researched the label? Do not drop off your items and leave them. Take them to the consignment desk and shop or grab a coffee and come back. Do not give them your other items. Take them with you. You either donate them yourself or sell on Poshmark. That way you know if your high end items truly get "donated". read more

Consignment is a tricky business because when you sign that contract, it basically becomes their property. This is a racket business...I mean this lovingly. You, the consumer, take items you no longer wear and they give you a small cut of the profit once it sells. Usually, you are better off giving it away to charity and taking the tax write off. Last year, I consigned a beautiful pair of Monolos. Without my consent, they put them on clearance and I ended up getting $14. This were like new $900 shoes. The styles they sell are typically for older middle aged women and much much older. Don't expect to find too many trendy, cute items and especially don't expect to find a bargain. The bargain section is messy and cluttered but if you are looking for a specific color, you can quickly shop the higher priced items that are organized by color. It's worth an occasional trip to shop and if you need an easy way to get rid of things you no longer wear, then consignment is a good option. read more

I like Clothes Circuit a lot! It's not my favorite consignment shop because it's really cluttered and the organization doesn't make a lot of sense to me... but I've found some really great pieces! It's nice spending $20 for a $300 silk blouse. It's a really great feeling. Clothes Circuit displays their clothing by size and color. Unfortunately, most of the sizes are small. But it is in University Park, so it's not really that big of a surprise I suppose! Well, I've heard a lot about this store from various people , so I was so excited to check it out . Well it's ok...It reminds me a lot of Clotheshorse Anonymous and I wasn't that excited about that one either .Yes ,they have great designer finds at a lower price, but some of it was still pretty hefty in price . If you like digging through racks and racks of clothing to find that special item, this is the place for you . I don't really care for digging ..LOL Also, I feel like there are no hip pieces in the store . A lot of knit items. The style seems to suit a more professional type woman or work clothing . They sale some really nice designer items at decent prices and I like being able to always find something new however I don't think I'm going to keep shopping here. Here's why : The staff ALWAYS looks at you like they are judging you or like you can't afford the items your looking at. They stand around and gossip. If they aren't gossiping they are arguing with each other or talking about issues going on in the store. They do this IN FRONT of all the customers in the store shopping. This happens every single time I've came there. Today I decided to visit the consignment part of the store. I brought in a nearly brand new pair of Christian Louboutin boots worn one time. The red on the bottom was fully intact with no scratches at all. The ladies behind the counter snubbed their noses at the boots and acted like they weren't good enough. I asked how much they would sell them for and they said they did not know because the lady who does the pricing was not there. Then they handed me a baby wipe and asked me the clean the shoes off. THEY ARE BRAND NEW hardly ever been touched. Clearly all the staff here feels the need to prove themselves better than everyone else. They treat you like you aren't good enough or your broke. On my way out of the store I grabbed a Burberry jacket , purchased it , and left. I won't be back lol. You can't treat clients anyway you want just because you think they don't have money. read more

Untrained employee handled transaction extremely poorly. I had located a necklace that I wanted to purchase with the assistance of a seasoned employee. I told her I wanted purchase the necklace and she asked if she could hold it for me at the counter while I continued to shop. I said yes. I took less than 1 minute to run to my car to throw away gum (no trash cans in store) and returned to shop. After my daughter found an item to purchase we went to counter to pay for it and my necklace. When mentioning my necklace a different unprofessional clerk said "oh, someone saw the necklace and liked it, and we thought you left and sold it." I told her that I left for less than a minute and she even saw me shopping after returning. She then said they only hold things for an hour...I had not been there for an hour, and I wasn't holding the item. I clearly stated to the other employee that I was purchasing the necklace...she is the one that asked if they could keep it safe for me while I shopped. The untrained employee then said, "well, I guess you purchasing it wasn't meant to be". I was dumbfounded! I have been shopping at this store for 10+ years , and was shocked at how the service had been left to seasonal unprofessional workers. Not sure I will return. I almost don't want to review this place because I feel like it's such a gem. I am usually the youngest woman in the place when I go (25 yo, btw). By a looot. (No offense to the fabulous women who shop here; just sayin!) That doesn't really matter. What matters is the wiiiiide variety of brands and articles of clothing they carry. So many purses from knock off brands, to the legit shit (MJ, Gucci, Prada, etc.) and some really interesting pieces. Same goes for shoes. The shoe selection is probably even more varried. Jewels! Oh the colors. Lemme talk to you about the fur vests. Long, short, fluffy, skinny, fake, REAL (don't know how you feel about that though), seriously every kind of fur vest you could want. First off, my wife goes there two or three times per year, and almost always finds great bargains. This morning we went, and came away with three designer tops, and two necklaces, one of which was a Kate Spade. Our total was under $60. As a husband, the prices make me happy! Almost all of their selections are upscale merchandise. My wife even got a pair of Aigner shoes there once time. The folks there are quite friendly and helpful. The one thing I would say from a negative is that the selection for plus sizes is a bit small. Otherwise, my wife loves the place. BTW, my job is to help her pick stuff out. Based on the urging of a co-worker, I gave Clothes Circuit a try. Tucked behind the Preston/Northwest Hwy shopping center off Sherry, is this rather large department store of used goods. Some items still have tags on them or haven't been used enough to seem used. They have racks and racks of sized appropriately tops, dress, blouses, pants, brands, accessories, shoes and the like. They even offer such a great extra discount of goods, that I walked out with a Banana Republic dress, JCrew skirt and tops for less than $80. Nothing looked overly used and felt like it had never been worn. I would highly suggest giving this place a try, because I think you'll always find deals and things you're more than happy to add to your closet. :) read more

I love to thrift. It is my biggest hobby! I knew this store would be more expensive, since it is upscale resale, but sheesh did some of those prices seem steep- second hand lululemon for $65 for example. The store seems to have exclusively pristine options. Seriously, everything was immaculate! You could definitely find something special and amazing for yourself, because #treatyoself. I have been coming here for years. However, when they went under new management a while back everything has gone downhill. Remember the date sales. They would put stuff on sale the longer it sat there. That was the best. I almost think the employees get first dibs on consigned items because there is absolutely nothing in there. I have been consigning clothing here for years & they have always taken 99% of them, so this review is not sour grapes for them not accepting my items. But the woman in the back consignment area, who is of medium height/build, has auburn almost-shoulder length hair/bangs, wears jeans, & may be in her 60's, is probably the surliest woman I've ever dealt with in a store. Absolutely nothing wrong has ever really happened, but she's so nasty to every customer, myself included, that it is a soul sucking experience to consign clothing when she's there. I'm so glad this is one the first two stores that I went to! I found such a good deal! I got this cute dress for under 8 bucks! I have taken my gently used designer clothing here for several years. Every single time I have gone in, I am made to feel as though I am lucky they will even look at my clothing. No one, (especially the people who decided which clothing is worthy) has ever greeted me in a nice way or treated me with respect, however, I dealt with it for the 2 or 3 times I year I go in. They rejected a few beautiful pieces I had so I went to TBC (To Be Continued) a few miles away. They gladly took my items and commented on how nice they were. This store carries much nicer clothing and they were so warm and welcoming, it was a pleasure to do business with them I will never set foot in Clothes Circuit again. read more

More than 2 years since my first visit and I can say that the customer service was just as amazing the second time around. Love the variety and selection this boutique offers. Thank you again for a wonderful shopping experience. I was blown away with their selection and quality. They have a huge selection of clothing, purses, shoes, jackets, belts, scarves, etc. The price decreases every few weeks the item doesn't sell. I wasn't dressed for shopping today nor was my best friend. We looked pretty crappy, really. The lady behind the counter greeted us the same way she greeted the lady carrying the LV purse wearing her Prada heels. I got an excellent deal on a pair of Dubarry boots that appear brand new. It's a good thing I don't live anywhere near here or I would be in a lot of financial trouble. If I'm ever back in the Big D I'll be sure to stop in and take my time shopping. I had the worst consignment experience in my entire life here. The girls were rude and snobby and lacked basic professionalism. I came in to consign several bags of clothes and was asked to hang them up before bringing them in. I found that very strange as I've co-signed on several other occasions and had never received such a request. I obliged and hung my clothes up and shopped the store as I waited. After over an hour the girls very rudely told me that they could not accept a single thing. Which is frustrating, but not my primary grievance. I'm just very turned off by the behavior of the staff; they were whispering and giggling amongst each other, throwing my clothes around, had nasty attitudes, and offered very little respect to me. In fact, my mother could tell you, I have no idea what to DO inside of a thrift store or a Goodwill. But, I digress. I have found several stores here in Dallas that offer fantastic designer resale for a fraction of the cost. Clothes Circuit is one such store. It's a good-sized, clean store that has pretty much any designer you can think of - shoes, bags, suits. They even have a (very impressive) estate jewelry collection. I would recommend the Clothes Circuit to any woman who needs/wants great looking, classy clothes (especially for work, interviews, etc.) but isn't willing the pay a designer price. With that being said, Clothes Circuit is STILL expensive ($350 for Chanel tweed suit), but compared to the full sticker price of a lot of these designers, you're getting a great deal. read more

I want to start off saying this is a huge store. Price range is about average for designer brands. My problem with the store was the staff. They were at the front counter loudly making fun of a customer that had brought in clothes to consign. Then they had to loudly announce it to the other employees around the store. I felt quite embarrassed for the lady that I later saw crying in the parking lot. I would say management needs to train their staff on customer service! They lost my business today just for the plain fact of having no common curtesy for another human being. Decided to stop by Clothes Circuit to see what i could find, and although i didn't have any luck with anything, I did like the store. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and offered help. As i was looking around the store different workers volunteered to help me. I didn't need much help cause i didn't see much that caught my eye. I did however see a Chanel belt that I liked that was in a glass case. When i asked to see the item the lady quickly assisted me as well as gave me her feedback on it. I told her I liked the belt but was not in love with it. Instead of being a pushy saleswoman she told me if you don't love it , don't buy. Invest your money in things that you love. I appreciated her honesty, and her help. It was nice to experience such good customer service. I will most definitely go back to see what new pieces they get from time to time! read more

I have been going to this boutique for years now and I just love it! Their handbag selection is second to none and their clothing selection is just magnificent! I enjoy shopping here so much that I have to only go in once a month because I will go a little crazy here! The ladies in the front do take a while to warm up to, but once they've seen you a couple of times, they are lovely. The store is organized and clean. I would not recommend bringing children in this store, as there are lots of expensive pieces and it's really not a place for children. (I am a mother BTW, and would not want my children to mess up anything I didn't want to pay for) The prices can range from reasonable to expensive and everything in between. There was a good selection of items, they had a sale going on that applies to clothes only but not one single word on the sign says that it only pertains to clothing. The dressing room attendant made a rude comment about my size after I tried something on, saying, "that looks tiny, did that even fit you?" it was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. When I went to check out, instead of ringing me up, the sales clerk said "Okay these are $50, do you still want them?" I said yes and and she grabbed my other item and asked if I still wanted that too. I said yes and gave her a strange look. I am a young woman but I found it offensive and rude that she automatically assumed I couldn't afford anything I brought up to the counter to purchase. I'd been meaning to visit this consignment heaven since relocating to Dallas from South Florida. I mention that only as a reference, having shopped the best consignment stores from the isles of Palm Beach to sunny South Beach. This store is TOP NOTCH! They carry items at all price points, without leaving us designer hags in the lurch. A decent selection of Louis bags, as well as Michael Kors 'Hamilton' selection that you won't find in your average mall. Clothing selection was on point and a few items still had the labels on them. I'm a "curvy" girl and they definitely had a few pieces for me. What put them in the 5-star category? Service. From the manager to the receiving associates, everyone I encountered was so obliging.
