This is one of their non alcoholic drinks. It was good. Bigger than the $15 marg my friend ordered. Pineapple Chili Fresca

I had heard good things and was planning to possibly check it out for my birthday this week. I looked at reviews and see an additional 20% service charge added to the bill BEFORE tip. Dude, pay your people a decent wage. Raise your prices if you have to, but nobody likes a sneaky surprise. It feels dishonest, and no one likes dishonesty. We ended up going. The food was really good and my server, Rebel was amazing! No we didn't like the 20% service charge. Will it keep us from going back? Maybe. The $15 matgs in the tiniest glasses also a factor. $7.50 a taco also a little steep.

I'll start with the good things... The smoked potatoes were good but needed salt. They have good homemade corn tortillas that do not fall apart. My drink was pretty good too, pineapple, rum tiki inspired drink. The service is not great and not very friendly. We walked in & the host was on the phone, the bartender wasn't making eye contact so I walked up to the bar to ask if we could seat ourselves... still no eye contact. My husband ended up going back to the host to ask if we could sit at the bar. I tried to make small talk with the bartender but she wasn't really having it. I got the curry Maui tacos w/ corn tortillas & my husband go the birra tacos. The birra tacos were good, very flavorful. The mahi tacos were very mild in flavor, my husband couldn't tell what flavor they were. They also had black flakes from the grill stuck to them which were the texture of egg shells, yuk. From the outside the place looks super small but it's pretty spacious on the inside. I mentioned this to the bartender who responded, yep, and we have outdoor seating so we can seat a lot, and in her head saying don't talk to me. Lol. Anyways, there's a lot of good places to eat that have good service in Denver, I would prefer going to those places than come back here.

I thought this was ok. We went for happy hour. Our waitress was not super friendly and the first thing she told me was there is a 20% service fee. I guess that is good to know up front. Anyway, my Paloma was ok (after having one a Diablo pozole the day before, it's not a fair comparison because the is the best in the state) I had the happy hour taco and the green chile fries, I'm a native so love a good green chile, it was ok. The taco was different with the wonton shell but the inside was not flavorful. My niece has the birria tacos and she said it was good. Her friend had the quesadillas of the kids menu (lots of allergies so not a lot of regular menu options for her) and it was a generous portion, we were all surprised it was a kids portion, and she said it was good as well, they are college students so... lol. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Came here for restaurant week 2026 and it was just as good as I remembered ! 35$ was a steal! The app was just okay-- so I got guacamole and it was perfect. The churros and ice cream are to die for I get them every time. I got a seat at the bar and it was perfect. Solid food and did not disappoint !

The vibe here is pretty interesting! It's got the tropical decor that's a blend of Mexican and Southeast Asian! Even some of the ingredients in the dishes we tried (case in point: dried papaya in my salad, a pleasant surprise both in taste and texture!) The way the tacos are served was also different: all the a-la-cart tacos are placed on a big tray and all come out at once. I really enjoyed our Brussels Sprouts Salad, it is huge and a lot of work to eat! But I enjoyed the subtle flavors from the shredded sprouts, dried papaya, and almond slices all coming together. The dressing was not overpowering which allowed me to taste each ingredient. There's a ton of chewing so consider sharing this salad. Their signature dish: the coconut rice, feels so very fusioned. I had my doubts but it ended up tasting pretty good. After having these two, I really only have room for about one taco. Whichever it was that I had was not memorable: it wasn't GREAT but wasn't terrible either. That's why I don't remember much about it. Service was definitely friendly; they want you to feel at home. And the servers are very on top of things such as allergies, etc. We were well taken care of at Mister Oso.

The food was delicious! I loved the lamb tacos and ate the whole thing. My guy is a big fan of fish tacos and enjoyed the Mahi Mahi. We both got the house margarita to top everything off. The service was great and we got our food quick. Nice little restaurant. The only complaint is the seating. There was a big party next to us that didn't provide for much elbow room.

Went here for happy hour after work with a friend and it was AWESOME! We went in time for happy hour - I got the passionfruit pisco sour (transported me back to Chile) and friend got the margarita. Drinks were delish! We also got the mini guac on HH and each got a mini taco. For mains - we got the watermelon ceviche and mojo tacos. The ceviche was AMAZING - so fresh and delicious. I don't typically have salmon ceviche but it had just the right amount of heat and acid, would love to come back just for this. The mojo tacos were also good - loved the sweet plantains that came with them. The staff was super nice and very attentive. We ate inside because it was so hot but would love to check out their patio another time!

This is a nice restaurant for some really yummy Peruvian food. The decor is inviting with lots of colors. Our waiter was nice. We got the Al pastor tacos, empanadas, and hard tacos. We both got the coconut horchatas for drinks. Everything was yummy but we both preferred the al pastor tacos as our fav. We also got he churros with mint ice cream for dessert. The churros were light but sweet. Good food for a decent price. Although parking in this neighborhood can be hard to find.

Came in around 1:30p on a Saturday and wasn't super busy. We sat on patio which was nice. First a waiter stopped asked us if we had ever been in and I put in for Tuna Aguachile and a kids order for my son. He kind of immediately ran off and we didn't get to put a drink order in. When our food came I asked a runner to ask a waiter to come order drinks. They came back and took them and never came back. After eating our app for a bit and realized no one ever took our food order. At this point we can't find the original guy and asks another person if we can put in food. So now this girl comes and puts order in. She made it seem like the lamb wasn't big enough for 2 and so we ordered chicken tinga and potatoes. The meal came with 6 small Tortillas. The flour seemed fresh and made in house. The meats are plenty to share just 1 meat. The lamb was great. It was Al Pastor style with pineapple and onion. The Tinga I didn't like it had some heat and I've had others better elsewhere. The food was good. I wish service wasn't so confusing and better. Drinks were good. Not sure I'll be back.

Very chill vibe, maybe two other tables full on the outdoor patio when we arrived at 2pm on Sunday. Cute and shady patio was perfect on a 75° sunny day! The house Margaritas are bomb. I loved mine I can never drink a whole one- because I find them sweet; These were amazing! I had birria tacos- which were yummy, but my husband ordered the mojo tacos and I was blown away! Fried sweet plantains with wonderfully seasoned pork and pickled chilies and onions- it was outstanding. We also had the broccolini tempura and it too- was excellent. The churros for dessert and another margarita sealed the meal. 6 hours later and I am still full. I understand why Mister Oso has a 90 minute wait most nights, worth the wait.

Finally - a place that lives up to the hype & the reviews. Stopped in for lunch with a friend today and had an amazing lunch. Carne asada tacos, chicken tinga tacos, birria tacos & empanadas. The starter was the queso fundido with green chorizo (I've never had green chorizo) it was cooked in a green tomatillo sauce & less spicy than the red - really delicious & I enjoy a nice dip who doesn't but honestly this queso is beyond - it's downright delicious. So much flavor packed in with just the right consistency in the cheese, not overly thick & not at all runny. The meats were delicious, all extremely flavorful & the portions were very accurate per the prices (thank you for not skimping!) the meats came with flour tortillas & a variety of sauces - well each meat came with a sauce the asada with a spicy red sauce & a milder green avocado tomatillo salsa, the tinga with the traditional adobo & some Mexican crema & of course the birria with consome. We all loved the food. The service was OUTSTANDING! Quite literally some of the most authentically friendly & genuinely helpful staff I've encountered. How refreshing. We sat in the outdoor patio area & today was a chilly day, they had the heaters on & it was perfect out there. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you to the chefs & staff.

Stopped by Mister Oso for happy hour and had such a great time -- the food, vibe, and service were all spot on. We ordered a spread to share, and everything was flavorful and super fun to snack on. The Frito Pie and Mini Guac were both delicious, but the Nachos Verde really stole the show -- green chile-tossed tortilla chips loaded with cheese, bean refritos, crema, salsa roja, pickled red onion, serrano, and queso fresco. So good! We also tried the Mini Queso and Gordo Crunch, both total crowd-pleasers. Perfect happy hour spot with great food, drinks, and energy -- can't wait to come back and try their dinner menu next time!

Colorful bar. 20% forced tip plus optional tip. I am not a fan of restaurant having forced tips. Also not enough non alcoholic pop options.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Definitely a place to sit and eat there to enjoy the hot food. I'm originally from SoCal and a heavily populated Latinos with amazing tacos and food.. Taqueria La Familia passed the bar high!! We can't wait to come back and try other options and will update pictures and review then!

It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!
