Today, I tried the strawberry lemonade slushie, which I've never gotten before. I don't know if it is new to the menu or if I just haven't seen it on past visits, but I'm so happy I got to try it today! It tasted like a frozen version of a lemon shakeup at the state fair, and the strawberry syrup balanced out the tart lemon flavor with some sweetness. It was so delicious and refreshing, I wish I had gotten a bigger size! Also, you can't write a review for Moo & Lou without mentioning their exceptional customer service! I really appreciate how every employee I've encountered is friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy serving customers I also love Moo & Lou's emphasis on giving back to the community! I chose two small scoops--one blueberry cheesecake and one lemon (maybe it was lemon cream pie?) The very nice young men working said it would be a good combo and they were so right. I truly loved this ice cream and I plan to go back very soon to try more flavors. The ice cream was delicious and creamy, the flavor profiles were on point, and portions and prices were great. Everyone found a fun flavor and were able to enjoy the evening together. I'd definitely go back and try another option as so many good ones. They have several different cone options, or you can get your ice cream in a cup. I also love that they offer different sizes, especially the Junior size. It's the perfect portion for me without being too much or make a mess with the cone. The inside is cute and has a nice local flair. There's seating inside, along with a couple of benches outside. It can get pretty busy here at times, so just be prepared for a wait when it's crowded. Restrooms are located inside, which is always a plus. They also offer taste testers, so you can try a flavor before committing. Service is always great, and I usually see teens working when I visit. The new location affords Scoop Shack a more appropriate space for their growing event/birthday business. It also offers them the chance to explore some additional opportunities with the space. Scoop Shack now also has a more "proper" outdoor area comprised of the space that used to be the drive-thru for the bank. Oh, and yes. The bank's safe area is still here. It's kind of a cool feature. There's also a play area for the kids. So, I knew I needed to revisit and update my review. There are two van-accessible parking spots out front. There's also one along the back for the outdoor section (there's a window where you can order without going inside). There's still a two-sided, double-door entry. It's about the only part of the whole experience that isn't super wheelchair friendly, though it's not bad. Both owners have a background in healthcare - so, the awareness of disability is pretty obvious - there's even a ramp to the back patio area. As this is a fairly recent move, the interior is still growing. There's a nice, comfy design to it. Prices are still reasonable. They still offer four and six flavor flights. Their ice cream comes from local fave Sundae's. There's a combination of half-booths and tables for seating. They've also added a handful of light food items (like hot dogs), though they're still keeping it simple. Scoop Shack does catering, parties, events, and more. They offer sundaes, shakes, ice cream nachos, walkabouts, chocogattos, a variety of hot/cold drinks, and some bottled/canned drinks. There are two unisex bathrooms - both are accessible. I've grown very fond of Scoop Shack. I think they started right around my first review in 2021 (not exactly an easy year to open up a new shop). The neighborhood has really embraced them. I definitely recommend a visit. While I loved the old space, this old space is definitely a great move for Scoop Shack.
