Kids burger with gluten free bun
    Shelley S.

My gluten free heart was buzzing. Best fully dressed burger with a gluten free bun that did not taste like cardboard. This is a big win for those who are gluten free. This will be my new go-to burger spot. The service was over the top friendly and quick, very impressed.

If i could give 0 stars, i would. as soon as i walked in the cashier asked what i would like (no problem with that) but i said i needed one moment. The cashier(ayden) then instantly said "well why don't you order everything". This really hurt considering i was thinking about losing weight (im not a loser and i never lose so i wasn't actually going to lose the weight but ayden didn't know that). I also asked for a cone, paid for a cone, and got a cup. seriously ayden???? do better

    Spicy Chicken Sandwich
    Dipali P.

Came to do a quick pickup for dinner through drive-through and was a bit annoyed with how they were handling orders. Drive-through was busy which is fine but then I was told to pull up to wait for my food when there was no space to park my car. I wish Culver's would implement designated numbered parking spaces for pickup. However, the spicy chicken sandwich was actually delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually spicy. Maybe next time I will opt to sit inside and eat to avoid the traffic!

However, I've been making regular visits out to my family in Putnam County and this has allowed me to drive by the Avon location of Raising Cane's. Today, I finally got a chance to check it out. Raising Cane's is a growing chain that specializes in chicken fingers (or tenders). That's it. That's their gig. When founder Todd Graves proposed the idea in a business class, he received one of the lowest grades because his professor said it wouldn't work. Graves persevered. Named after his labrador (literally named Raising Cane), this chain is growing with three Central Indiana locations currently (Avon, Carmel, Noblesville). As noted, Raising Cane's is based around chicken tenders/fingers in a handful of different combos. They have multiple sides, serve Coke products, and have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. They have a two-sided drive-thru, though only one side was open at my time of arrival. You can dine inside, however, on this visit I did not. I could tell the curb cuts were appropriate, however, I won't speak to accessibility on the inside. The employees I met were friendly and helpful. I was able to upsize my drink, always a plus, and my order was accurate. I tend to prefer barbecue sauce with my tenders, however, I opted to try their Raising Cane sauce. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Raising Cane's is community minded with six areas of focus - education, feeding the hungry, active lifestyles, pet welfare, entrepreneurship, and "other" (meaning they enjoy supporting community organizations and will consider "other" ideas). While I'm not quite ready to go 5 stars here, I enjoyed the tenders quite a bit and I enjoyed the small order of crinkle-cut fries. The food quality was good and the quantity was a solid meal. Employees were great, the drive-thru went pretty darn quickly, and I have no issues with calling this a solid 4-star experience. I'll definitely be back.

The black bean burger is delicious, and you can customize the toppings and cheese on any burger or chicken sandwich. Sides include edamame, tater tots, fries, fruit, and a side salad. The sauces, like the salad dressing, are made fresh in house. Sauces include country gravy, buffalo, sweet heat, ranch, and honey mustard. I always order a sauce or two for dipping g my tater tots or fries. The salads are much better than the usual fast food or fast casual restaurant. Always fresh ingredients and the dressing is made daily, in house. Several varieties of salad and they are all excellent. Shakes are excellent! Very thick so you will need the extra large straw. The employees are very friendly and service is fast. The dining room is always clean and the booths are solid and comfortable.

The girl that brought our ice cream was very friendly and seemed very stressed and overworked. That was possibly because I didnt really see anyone else doing much. I'm a relative novice when it comes to Sonic Drive-In. Since it primarily exists in Indy's suburbs…read morerather than directly in Indy, I'm seldom near one with the exception of when I'm out and about for work or other obligations. This location is almost smack dab on the line between Avon and Indy. It's set off to the side of Meijer's parking lot, though it has a decent-sized space once you get there. Sonic is known for its "drive-in" option - the ability to pull up with a retro-vibed ordering screen and carhops who will bring the food to your car. There's also a drive-thru, which I utilized, for those in a bit of a hurry. Because I seldom make it to Sonic, I always forget how it works. The drive-thru made it pretty simple, though in retrospect I kind of wish I'd gone for the Sonic experience. I really only wanted a snack, in this case tater tots, and a drink. In this case, I opted for a large iced coffee. While Sonic is generally known for being economical, I thought it was a bit high (I honestly don't remember the exact price - I just remember thinking it was more than expected). The employees were friendly. The line moved a tad slow, though it wasn't bad. I thought the iced coffee was a bit chintzy - yes, I'm glad there was lots of ice, however, it definitely wasn't close to filled to the top. You had to really put the straw in there to get to the coffee. The tater tots, a Sonic fave, were delicious. I ordered a medium order. Overall, this was a solid mid-range experience for me. Would I return? Sure. Would I go out of my way to return? Probably not. Sonic has a menu that is both somewhat traditional in terms of fast food and a bit unique in terms of defining its place in the fast food world. Now that I know this is here, and I missed it for a long time, I'll no doubt return when I'm in the mood for more than a snack.

That said, the free breadsticks are still around and there's still something about those pizza slices that grab me. So, once in a while I still visit. I pulled into this Avon location of Fazoli's intent on grabbing a couple pepperoni slices, a couple breadsticks, and unsweetened iced tea (Lipton, as I recall - definitely not a favorite). The person working the drive-thru was super friendly. Good sign. However, I had to laugh when I got up to the window. My bill was $9.03. To avoid them having to give a bunch of chain, I offered up $10.03 expecting a buck in chain. The employee took at least 2-3 minutes to get what I had done. He kept saying "$10 is enough." After about three minutes, so much for saving time, it finally registered and the transaction continued. I'd always heard about things like this happening, but wow. The food? It was fine. The breadsticks definitely don't have that special quality they used to have. They're perfectly fine. They just taste, well, cheaper. The pizza slices were enjoyable. The pepperoni distribution was solid, the sauce was tasty, and while I'd say there's also a definite drop here it was still enjoyable. For $9.03, I satisfied my pizza slice craving and had a decent but far from amazing meal. Would I return? Sure. Do I crave a return? Nope. Despite not quite getting the financial dynamics of my exchange, the employee was super friendly and helpful.
