This little shop is cute. It's very clean with plenty of seating and the tables were clean. I took my grandkids and they loved it. Theres only one sized cup that gets weighed when you're done creating. There's several different flavors and too many toppings to name. The only downside is that it's expensive. For 1 adult and 2 kids I spent over 30.00. Although on Wednesday they offer 5.00 cups with no weighing. Of course kids have to have every topping and it's all self serve. Would I go again, probably not. If the kids wanted to go again, perhaps but we'd go on Wednesday for sure! read more

Orange Leaf offers an amazing deal on Wednesdays ! They do not weigh your cup, and charge only 5 dollars for the cup ! The workers are not rude or anything but me and my friend had walked into the store and got our fro-yo, the workers asked if we needed any samples and we declined. I went about putting together my food and we paied and sat down. I was not aware that after you pay you could not add peanut butter to the food ! I understand if it is on a day where the food was weighed but it would've been the same price reguardless and I was just going to add a bit more. I went up to grab it, and the worker busted through the door to look at me. I asked if i could use the peanut butter and she said it was a technicality? Can this at least be explained ? Typical froyo place with a different name. The usual variety of toppings & eclectic vibe of the modern furniture invites you right in. Their is a Dairy Queen directly across the street & when it gets backed up, eveyone flocks here as we did. I opted for a milkshake which included Oreo gelato with Oreo cookie pieces & I added almonds. It actually turned out great & my wife enjoyed her pineapple froyo with popping boba & fruit as well as the little one with her chocolate froyo with M&Ms. Prices were typical of similar places so expect to pay around $20 after tax for 3 regular sized items. They didn't which is fine you can make up in topping with the ice cream. Just get some fruit to balance it. There were no fruit options only a really old looking canned pineapples. I could went dairy queen across the street. They have more fruit options. For a diabetic i definitely can't come back to this location. read more

I enjoy Orange Leaf but often forget about this location. The reason I've been the past two times is the bakery goods made by Two Chicks Whisky Business. I've been wanting to sample their bakery goods after seeing the reviews on FB. Two Chicks Whisky Business has a food truck in Plainfield. I haven't seen it out and about but now I know where I can find their baked goods at a brick and mortar store. Now Friday thru Sunday you can purchase from the small bakery case inside Orange Leaf in Avon. Today they carried 3 types of cheesecakes, multiple flavors of cupcakes, brownies and large cookies. I purchased 3 plain brownies ($2.75 each) and 2 gorgeous turtle cheesecakes ($5.99 each). The brownies were moist but my son thought they had an after taste. I thought maybe it was a coffee flavor. Regardless, they were good. The turtle cheesecake was the show stopper today. The much appreciated graham cracker crust was thin, the cheesecake was creamy and FULL of nuts. My son loved all the nuts but I personally would have preferred about 1/2 the amount. Of course, it didn't slow me down. The whipped cream held up well and was a nice addition. The only thing missing for me was the caramel I was hoping to find. I will be returning to purchase additional slices of cheesecake in the future. Orange Leaf has many flavors of Froyo (16, I think) and 3 flavors of Gelato. The flavors do change often. The prices are set by cup size. I had the beginners size cup ($3.49) of Salted Caramel Gelato and added two toppings. It was so refreshing with perfect texture on this beautiful but hot, fall day. The toppings bar had numerous fresh fruits, candy and peanut selections. It was extremely clean, and keep very tidy. The two employees were super friendly as one came up to me to find out if I'd enjoy a sample. The other was helping the couple in front of me and answering questions with a smile. When I arrived at the checkout my bakery items were nicely bagged and handed to me. It's so nice inside. Definitely not the best looking frozen yogurt place I've been to. The orange spoons are very unique too! My favorite flavor combination was the pineapple and coconut. Basically a pina colada in virgin form. Downside is...the taste/flavor/value don't meet my expectations of other frozen yogurt places such as Red Mango. I may be the minority on this one. But I will not be back to Orange Leaf. I am a frozen yogurt LOVER. Like an I sometimes skip dinner all together for this treat kind of girl. I was in Avon and searched on my phone for a nearby spot to grab a quick treat. Orange Leaf popped up so I decided to try it out. Upon walking in, it had the typical bright minimalist modern feel - a la Pinkberry. There were quite a few flavors to try but I skipped the tastings and jumped right in. I loaded up on the white chocolate covered strawberry, cherry, and of course vanilla (I always make a point to try the vanilla on my first visit as a benchmark ... if you can't get vanilla right, there's a problem). The toppings selection was not bad, but cut so huge that it made it blatant they were trying to bring the weight of your cup up. Not a huge deal, but common at least try to be a little more creative about it. I grabbed some strawberries, raspberries, and kiwi and called it a day. I decided to sit outside and took my first bite. In all honestly I probably only took about 4 more. First, the spoon is downright obnoxious. Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? It's a spoon people, use your money in a better way, like making better yogurt. Next, all the flavors reeked of artificial flavoring. I tried the plain strawberry yogurt my friend got and it was like eating a spoonful of Nestle Quik. All the flavors I tried were like this; wayyyy too artificially sweet. Lastly, when I leave Huddles, Yogurtland, and even Pnkberry I feel good about what I am eating. The yogurt is fresh tasting and I know that I made a better decision then ordering that chocolate molten cake at dinner. I can not say the same for Orange Leaf. I am not sure if Avon has other frozen yogurt options, if not, I would opt for the frozen section of your local grocery store. read more

Self-serve fro-yo places were created with me in mind. I love trying new flavors, and LOVE toppings. Orange Leaf is also genius because they've invented dividers for the cups so that I can try three entirely dissident flavors all at the same time without the embarrassing situation of realizing that lemon does NOT go with peanut butter or pumpkin spice. My only wish is that you were charged by the cup, and not by weight, because I tend to choose heavy toppings. Still, I'm a fan. read more

I've lived in the area for a few years and my coworker couldn't believe I'd never tried Orange Leaf. We visited last week on our lunch hour. The server was so nice! I tried a few fun flavors, then he offered the option to use a divider. It was so nice not having to choose between all of my favorites. My favorite ended up being pineapple and vanilla mixed. Dear Owner, I visited your new shop in Avon yesturday and would like to give some advise so that you will be here a year from now. You need a smaller cup size. Your smallest cup, you now provide, scream one of two things. One: If they put a small amount of yogurt in the cup the kids will fill it up with toppings and we will make lots of money. Or two the kids will fill it full of yogurt, which is four times the amount a child should have and we will make lots of money. I purchased five cups of yogurt with minimal toppings to take back to my office staff. The cups where half full which made me look cheap, however no one said that, and it still cost me $21 for a snack. Mom and dad may take their kids in once but after the check out, as tight as money is, good luck getting them back even if your yagurt taste great. Sincerely, Nic read more

This would be more a 4.5/5 score. I had an amazing experience there. They easily trump Yogi's in yogurt flavors and in taste. The had a ton of toppings and sauces (including Kiwi). I had a mix between brownie and wedding cake topped with M&M's and Raspberries and it was delightful. The service was impeccable and the store manager was very accommodating to my family. My only knock about Orange Leaf is the Honeydew flavor which my father did not enjoy, but he settled for French Vanilla. The location in Avon is tricky to get to with no easy access from Rockville Rd. (US 36). You have to turn onto a street and then go behind the Bob Evans and strip mall. read more

I have tried to find a phone number to call the store since I was charged a different amount then what is on my receipt, but I cannot fine one. I have enen gone to the corp website and no phone number is listed. I called my bank and there is nothing they can do, I need to call the store directly. I went to orange leaf after dinner today and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor selection as well as the cleanliness. Most of the workers were very patient and happy to help with sampling. The machines were kept in good order and it was very easy to tell which flavors were which. The only thing separating this review from a 5 star review was the fact that one worker did not share the same helpful attitude as his coworkers and was impatient with my yogurt selection process, but overall it was a very positive experience. read more

Don't go here if you are a minority!!!! I recently got hooked on Orange Leaf at the Pendleton Pike location. I am hardly ever out that way, so the closest one to me would be in Avon. However, every time I visit this particular site I am faced with harsh and curious looks from the patrons. At first I ignored it. But, when it kept happening to myself and the guests I brought in, I started to question what was going on. Until last week, I had never faced any animosity from the staff. The staff were too friendly. It was almost as if they had to make up for their patrons being so ugly. And, I think they knew this. Last Saturday evening, I went into the (Avon) location again with my boyfriend. He is a local celebrity, but I wouldn't have expected the young cashier girl to know that. I am not sure if she was upset because we stopped her from wiping down the seats or if she was just ready to go home seeing as though we were in the site 45 minutes before closing time. However, she was extremely rude. As I stated before I'm a veteran to this place, however the guest I had with me was not. In fact he had never even been to the location let alone ever had frozen yogurt such as this. So, when I interrupted her from rigorously wiping the chairs and asked for sample cups, she abruptly questioned which flavor we wanted her to retrieve with her filthy hands from washing down chairs. I told her that he had never been there and we wanted a few cups to sample the product. Again, she spouted off wanting to know exactly which 2 and only 2 flavors we wanted to sample. Now, even though this isn't a practice at other froyo shops, I understand why the cashier retrieves the samples for the patron. (However, maybe it would be a good idea if they are not simultaneously handling the janitorial duties along with issuing me a cup of something I'm about to digest.) I also understand that the location is trying to avoid people getting free yogurt and then leaving the store. I get that! However, what I do not understand is why she thought a couple in their mid-40s was going to just jet out of the store with yogurt in these tiny little dentist cups and not pay. LOL!!! Ludicrous!!! At any rate, even though this was one of my favorite chain of stores, I will never go back! Ever!
