All made in-house fresh and so so amazingly good. Both milk and dark chocolate is available. Service is quick and so helpful in making choices of what gems to choose. Prices are reasonable for the size and high quality of their chocolates. The shoppe also offers a variety of packaged candy treats. So the adults can pick from the counter and the kids can pick from the shelves. read more

This was a cute little chocolate shop that my husband treated me to after our anniversary lunch in Avon. They had several flavors of homemade fudge and many types of chocolate treats. They are made in-house. Haven't tried them yet but I'll let you know. They look and smell delicious. Not too many of these types of shops left. Good to know there are some. read more

When I was younger, this shopping strip at the corner of Dan Jones Road and U.S. 36 was one of the very few strips around this area. Yes, that means I'm old. However, I was feeling a bit nostalgic during this past weekend's trip to Putnam County and decided to stop and really check this retail strip out. I spied The Fudge kettle and knew I had to stop. The Fudge Kettle was started in 2020 - what a time to start a new business, eh? Despite the challenges, it thrived in a different location before locating to this spot in 2023. This is a former Jack's Donuts and it reportedly offered The Fudge Kettle about twice the size of its previous spot along with a variety of other perks. In case the name isn't obvious, The Fudge Kettle specializes in candy, fudge, local crafts, and a variety of other products. Despite being an older strip center, accessibility is pretty strong here with ample parking and curb cuts. The double-sided glass doors are pretty manageable. I found the interior to be nicely designed. I'm a fan of fudge and definitely had to try the fudge while here. Absolutely a delight. You can also get chocolates, freeze-dried candies, and some national brands like Pez, Necco Wafers, Buns, Boston Baked Beans, Rock Candy, Candy Cigarettes (Yes, I'm old enough to also remember when candy cigarettes were considered cool), and more. Local crafts include candles, keychains, t-shirts, wreaths and more. I'm a huge candle fan and I definitely prefer supporting local. So, this is a great find. I will note that new owners took over - I believe in 2023. It seems like there's some shifting going on and the website indicates that new products are coming soon. However, I liked what I saw here and the employee I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I found the prices to be fair, the quality to be amazing, and this just feels like a really welcoming spot. This shopping strip is a little more off the road than most. You really have to look to see The Fudge Kettle, however, it's definitely worth looking for and making a quick stop. Will I return? I love this shop so much! Very welcoming and a large variety of items! The owner is very caring and helpful! Love the warmed candies pecans for sale by the register! Plenty of sugar free options. Love the selection of honey spoons for teas and coffee and they recently started selling boba to place in your favorite drink! Chocolates, fudge, taffy, rock candy, the list goes on as to what you'll find here! Earring, travel mugs, so many things I can't list them all. Cute local fudge and candy shop! Stopped in with my little one and was pleasantly surprised at all this little shop has to offer! They have all the classic candies and some very delicious salt water taffy with lots of different flavors! They have all types of fudge and homemade chocolates as well! I had the Vanilla Caramel Pecan Fudge which was so yummy and melted in my mouth! The pricing is very reasonable. A fudge square was only $4 dollars which I felt was a good price for the quality! I was surprised to see they also sell Dole Whip and Boba Tea. We didn't try either of those this time, but will definitely try those on our next visit! read more

I discovered this fudge at the Brownsburg Farmers market and am so happy that a store was born from the fudge success. It is nice that the west side has a reasonable priced candy store. There is a great variety from chocolates by the pound, fudge, taffy and various candies. I stopped to get Valentine's Day treats for friends and family. The suckers were buy 1 get one half off. Honestly they were delicious. The variety of taffy was great. My kids love taffy so I am so happy to find variety and local by the pound. Now the fudge I was getting to ship to a friend in Vegas bc he said he loves Peanut Butter fudge. fudge Kettle has the best PB fudge hands down of any please else. The walnut is delicious too. Wow! What a wonderful addition to the metro west side! Although it isn't the easiest shop to see, this little candy shop is worth taking a drive west of Avon towards Danville located in a small strip mall in another building next to Cabin Coffee Company. The shop is on the south end of the building closest to the highway. They even have a stop light to help you in and out of the access street (Main) to get back onto US 36! Even though it was opening day, the shop wasn't too crowded and I liked that they had someone manning the front door so that you could walk right in (masks are preferred since it is food) and hand sanitizer is also available. Fortunately, they have multiple samples of fudge in individual sealed cups for visitors to try. I ended up trying a peanut butter fudge (very smooth and creamy) and a cookies and cream fudge that I also bought when I checked out. To your right as you enter is a merchandise room. To the left is where you find other candies like Pez. They also have individual chocolates in a display counter. The check out is right in the bend of the service counter and one person handled all the money exchanges. Other folks assisted in boxing your orders of fudge (using tools, not touching your purchase.) If you walk straight into the shop, there are some more packaged candies ready for purchase including taffy, and my wife picked up a package of Milk Chocolate English Toffee w/Sea Salt. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Each sample I tried (including the toffee which I didn't get to sample but ate a piece after purchase) was delicious. They even have some sugar free candies too, but those aren't my style! ha! As someone who has made fudge for nearly 40 years, I understand how time consuming and exact a science it is to get fudge to turn out this great. It is extremely temperature sensitive. I don't like grainy fudge and I don't like hard fudge (too much like rock candy). But this stuff is great! And for anyone who wants to complain that fudge costs $16 per pound, I question if you have ever made it yourself. First I couldn't eat a whole pound in a week, so they serve it in smaller servings. I got two kinds at a quarter pound each. The ingredients alone are expensive and it isn't something you can ignore once you start it. Before anyone complains about pricing, try making it yourself and see if you can make it turn out anything like fudge. This place delivers a high quality product and saves you all the time and clean up for a very reasonable price. They have lots of flavors available, so I can see making return trips to try other flavors.
