I love this shop so much! Very welcoming and a large variety of items! The owner is very caring and helpful! Love the warmed candies pecans for sale by the register! Plenty of sugar free options. Love the selection of honey spoons for teas and coffee and they recently started selling boba to place in your favorite drink! Chocolates, fudge, taffy, rock candy, the list goes on as to what you'll find here! Earring, travel mugs, so many things I can't list them all. Did I mention the cherry lime twist whip that's dairy free gluten free and vegan!? Yum!!! Be sure to grab a basket when you enter the shop!!

Wow! What a wonderful addition to the metro west side! Although it isn't the easiest shop to see, this little candy shop is worth taking a drive west of Avon towards Danville located in a small strip mall in another building next to Cabin Coffee Company. The shop is on the south end of the building closest to the highway. They even have a stop light to help you in and out of the access street (Main) to get back onto US 36! Even though it was opening day, the shop wasn't too crowded and I liked that they had someone manning the front door so that you could walk right in (masks are preferred since it is food) and hand sanitizer is also available. Fortunately, they have multiple samples of fudge in individual sealed cups for visitors to try. I ended up trying a peanut butter fudge (very smooth and creamy) and a cookies and cream fudge that I also bought when I checked out. To your right as you enter is a merchandise room. To the left is where you find other candies like Pez. They also have individual chocolates in a display counter. The check out is right in the bend of the service counter and one person handled all the money exchanges. Other folks assisted in boxing your orders of fudge (using tools, not touching your purchase.) If you walk straight into the shop, there are some more packaged candies ready for purchase including taffy, and my wife picked up a package of Milk Chocolate English Toffee w/Sea Salt. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Each sample I tried (including the toffee which I didn't get to sample but ate a piece after purchase) was delicious. They even have some sugar free candies too, but those aren't my style! ha! As someone who has made fudge for nearly 40 years, I understand how time consuming and exact a science it is to get fudge to turn out this great. It is extremely temperature sensitive. I don't like grainy fudge and I don't like hard fudge (too much like rock candy). But this stuff is great! And for anyone who wants to complain that fudge costs $16 per pound, I question if you have ever made it yourself. First I couldn't eat a whole pound in a week, so they serve it in smaller servings. I got two kinds at a quarter pound each. The ingredients alone are expensive and it isn't something you can ignore once you start it. Before anyone complains about pricing, try making it yourself and see if you can make it turn out anything like fudge. This place delivers a high quality product and saves you all the time and clean up for a very reasonable price. They have lots of flavors available, so I can see making return trips to try other flavors. I can imagine this place being really popular during the winter holidays when a few extra pounds help keep me warm! Give this place a try! Review #3781

This is what Rocket Fizz does to people. You go in for one thing and the floor to ceiling chaos of it all just starts making decisions for you. The Perry Crossing location is smaller than the downtown Indianapolis store, which I mention only as a logistical note and not a complaint. What they lack in square footage they make up for in density. Every shelf, every wall, every surface is doing active work. Sodas you haven't thought about in years sitting next to sodas you didn't know existed, candy from every corner of the galaxy, toys, novelties, and enough random merchandise to make you question your own shopping discipline. My partner and I have no shopping discipline. We leaned into it. We walked out with Strawberry Crush soda, a Sarsaparilla root beer by Boots Beverages for the purist in me, an IBC Cream soda because some classics belong in every mission, and the item that genuinely stopped me mid aisle: Cholula Chamoy Tropical ring mix gummies. Yes, Cholula. Like the hot sauce. Chamoy flavored gummies in ring form. The kind of product that raises questions and then answers them immediately the moment you try one. The Force works in mysterious ways and apparently so does candy innovation. Rocket Fizz is pure joy in retail form. No pretense, no agenda, just an overwhelming selection of things that make you feel like a kid who just found the right cantina on the right planet at exactly the right time. Five stars without hesitation.

The Licorice Guy seems to be the local presence of a national company company. They specialize in handcrafted, premium licorice - these are not Twizzlers and you will taste the difference. More expensive? Definitely. However, for licorice connoisseurs I'd definitely consider them worth the splurge. The licorice is made in small batches with no wax, fillers, and less sugar. There's traditional red, traditional black, cinnamon, blue raspberry, green apple, watermelon, and root beer. They also have some other options. They are not gluten-free (they use wheat). They do ship. They have fundraising options. I tend to be a fan of the traditional black. They do have flavors that are seasonal (including chocolate). I definitely wouldn't call myself a connoisseur, however, after seeing them at Statehouse Market more than once I finally had to splurge. This was one of the more unique offerings at Statehouse Market this year and I sure hope they'll be back next season. I believe the Central Indiana rep may be based in Avon, however, I'm not certain. They were friendly, the licorice is great, the prices are fair, and this was one of the better discoveries during this year's market season. If you see them, I'd definitely check them out.

Regardless, their cables are good quality and last a long time with reasonable care. I buy all my cables here exclusively. There are both self check out stations and cashier stations at this location. A friendly employee was eager to check me out which is what I prefer over a self check kiosk that I'm not familiar with. These stores also have treasures as we call them. Unique stuff to buy you don't find everywhere and its of a better quality in my opinion, than the three different dollar store chains. I wish they would open one in Martinsville. Other areas they stock good inventory for are fashion accessories, pets, gifts, and toys. I bought a cat bed today that I have not been able to find in my usual pet shopping places. They also have a great candy section with items not commonly stocked elsewhere.
