I have been told numerous times to try Mission BBQ so here I go. First off the customer service is unmatched from the parking lot entrance to the exit. If you are dining in at noon be prepared for heart warming treat that reminds you of the sacrifices made for this country. The menu is full of options for the entire family. The prices are reasonable. There were so many flavors and sauces to try based on what region of sauce you want. The old fashion bottle drinks are a plus.

I had Mission in the Mechanicsburg PA area before and liked it. This time it was just average. The lean brisket was pretty good, but I didn't like the bbq sauces. I tried smoky mountain and Memphis belle and they were both far below expectations. It was so unfulfilling that I opted to use my Giant brand sauce in the refrigerator. The fries were decent and the turkey was not great. Even the cornbread was just meh. Nothing was bad (except the sauce), but I expected better. Maybe today was just a bad day in the kitchen, but it didn't inspire much confidence in me to make a return trip.

Sorry for the sideways photo those are the smoked wings with a side of the brisket string beans

My wife recently picked up some takeout for me, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable meal. I started with the ribs, and they were outstanding. The smoky flavor was on point, and the meat was tender, perfectly seasoned with a dry rub. Nothing was too salty--it was just right. They served the sauce on the side, and I went with the Kansas City (KC) sauce. It was sweet, tangy, and had a nice little kick that took the ribs to another level. I ate those ribs so quickly I didn't even think to take a photo! The next day, I dove into the smoked wings, and they were just as impressive. I love chicken, and these wings were smoked to perfection. They had that rich, smoky taste that wasn't overpowering, just perfectly balanced. For a side, I tried the green beans, which were seasoned with brisket meat. I'd never had green beans prepared like that before, but I'm already on the hunt for a recipe to recreate that flavor--it was amazing. Then there was the cornbread, which was sweet and almost cake-like but in a really good way. It was moist and satisfying, adding a comforting finish to the meal. This place has definitely set a new standard for me. I'm used to other BBQ spots that claim to be the real deal, but this one truly stands out. I'll be going back for sure--this is a place worth revisiting.

It saddens me to give this establishment only 2 stars. Hubby and I (both veterans) arrived shortly after opening. Being 1st timers, we were unsure of the order and seating protocol, so we waited near the front door (for host/hostess to seat us). Employees working behind the counter made eye contact, but never directed us to come to the register. We decided to inquire and were then told the restaurant operates self service. Placed our orders, paid, made our drinks, found seats, waited and retrieved our food. Hubby's mac and cheese was quite tasty. Corn bread and smoked sausage were good, but the sausage wasn't thoroughly heated (center was cold). Baked beans and brisket were ok. I did appreciate the bbq sauce caddy.

This was my first time trying Mission BBQ. They are actually very good! The brisket was cooked just right, I really liked the Kansas City Classic BBQ sauce to compliment the smoky meat flavor. The chicken was fall off the bone soft. Mac & cheese was a very good homestyle with breadcrumbs. We will be coming back. This was very good food.

Mission BBQ hits it out of the park with flavor and heart. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, seasoned to perfection with a smoky, savory rub that's packed with taste in every bite. Their mac and cheese is creamy and comforting--just the right balance of cheesy and rich. The string beans are fresh with a hint of seasoning, and the baked beans bring a sweet, hearty kick that rounds out the plate beautifully. Beyond the food, the staff are friendly, respectful, and always quick with a smile and the atmosphere is warm, and inviting.

Very GOOD! I patronized based on the recommendation of my physical therapy team at ATI Physical Therapy on Festival Way. They recommended I get the Meat Plate with XL combo. Overall, I don't eat meat UNLESS I have a craving. So, I got the Meat Plate with XXL Combo, an additional $7, with Salmon for an additional $5.50. All together, my order came up to a little over $33. But I got salmon for me, brisket, and pulled pork for my BF, with Mac and Cheese and peach cobble (which I'm shocked is a side), and lemonade. I tasted a pinch of the brisket and pork to write this review, and I must say, they are as good as I was told. Though I thought it was a bit pricey, I do plan to return. Oh, and Denary, at the register is a delight. Very mannerable. My only complaint is that they don't offer a tip option on the receipt. Because I WOULD'VE LOVED TO HAVE TIPPED HIM . Next time I go, I'll carry cash to ensure I can properly show my appreciation.

Some of the fish tasted good and other pieces were just meh and didn't seem quite done enough for me. The customer service was suspect. I was with a group of 6, and one person didn't get his meal until 20 minutes after everyone else. They also got a couple of orders wrong and just seemed disorganized. At first we drove in circles because the accress in google maps is incorrect. When we got to the Restaurant, we were surprised as it is in an office building. Do not let the looks fool you or drive you away, you are in for a treat. WE wanted Brisket, but they were sold out. So, I ordered The ribs and whiting and had mac and cheese and green beans as sides. My wife had Chicken and Ribs with Yams and Collard Greens as sides. In my opinion as a cook, ribs should be edible without sauce. The sauce is a bonus and if the ribs are not seasoned right, the sause will maskl or enhance their flavor. These ribs were AMAZING!. Smoky, juicy, and tasty. I did not touch the sauce. The whiting was also great, well seasoned and not overcooked. I sampled some of chicken my wife ordered and it too was very good. The mac and cheese was ok and the green beans were ok. I also had the Collards and they were excellent. This is a Hidden gem and I might drive the 70 Miles to try the Brisket, if it was sold out early in the afternoon, then it must really be good. This is not a sit down restaurant but they do have a counter with 4 seats, where you can sit and eat. Do not miss out!

It's an all-you-can-eat experience where the food is brought to your table and you cook it yourself. The service was the highlight of our visit. Our server was wonderful, the hostess was welcoming and full of personality, and another staff member even stopped by to make sure we were being helped. That level of attentiveness is rare and appreciated. We ordered quite a variety, including squid, shredded chicken, shredded beef, shrimp, rolled beef, top steak, and several sushi selections. Most of the food was good, and everything arrived promptly. The sushi was decent, though not quite as fresh as I expected. I was also surprised that the top steak came as small cubes rather than a steak portion. The biggest disappointment was the no take-home policy. As first-time visitors, we didn't realize how much food would come with some of our orders and ended up leaving a significant amount behind. It's frustrating to see good food go to waste after you've already paid for the meal. The restaurant itself could use some updating. Several booth seats were worn and cracked, with foam showing through the upholstery. At $32-$37 per person, the dining area should feel a little more refreshed. For drinks, I had the Lychee Martini, which was weaker than expected, and my husband tried one of the Ocean cocktails and thought it was just average. He ended up ordering his usual tequila shot and a beer afterward. The drinks weren't bad, but they didn't live up to the rave reviews we had read beforehand. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, especially because of the excellent service and unique dining concept. With a few updates and some reconsideration of the leftover food policy, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

However the service is absolutely terrible and only declining. Pace yourself when you're drinking whatever drink you ordered because the chance of you catching your waiter to get another one will be almost non existent. Mostly teenagers are employed here which is good for the work experience but they are too busy on their cell phones to check on their tables. Even when the restaurant is empty you will still not receive service. You will watch your waiter pacing back and forth on their phone longer than you will spend drinking your water/soda. I used to come here once a week but the service has deterred me so much that at most I come once a month and each time I come it's getting worse and worse. I've had to pull the manager up on shift one time to ask for a simple refill because my waiter was too busy on the phone. I'm usually a great tipper, 25% or more, here I simply give 18% because most visits I sit for 30+ minutes with nothing to drink and zero way besides walking up to the waiter to get their attention since their phones are so close to their face it's touching their noses. I won't even come for dinner anymore because the price is not worth their service.
