We eat here at least once a week, our little 4 year old chants "Foster's Grille" in the car whenever we drive by. She love the kids grilled cheese, hotdog, and cheese burger. She even eats the fries with vinegar instead of catchup. We like Foster's because it is always welcoming and relaxing. Food is constantly good and the atmosphere is casual. They have free WiFi and the milkshakes are thick and creamy!

This is the first time I went to this Foster's location; I usually go to the one in Waldorf. I ordered carry out one night. I ordered the Charburger, boneless wings with onion rings, and bone in traditional wings with fries. As you can see, the burger was extremely raw inside throughout the patty. The patty didn't even stick together because it was so raw. Plus, it wasn't even hot. Then, the onion rings I ordered were not like the ones in the pictures nor the ones in Waldorf. They were very small and breaded, as if from frozen. The boneless chicken was half breaded and half not. It was as if I was eating half popcorn chicken and half chunky pieces of chicken, which I was expecting the latter because that's what the Foster's in Waldorf serves. Lastly, I felt like the traditional wings we got were slightly underdone. It was probably a few degrees from being fully cooked. I understand it was dinner time, but the raw burger is pretty unacceptable. Unfortunately, I was pretty unhappy with this location.

We happened upon this spot while driving, I mean it is definitely a local spot, if you blink you will miss it. With that said, I'm glad I am a close neighbor, this little place was great, they have a great happy hour, ant the wings were delicious, not to mention they have real blue cheese, with chunks!!!!!!!!! The bathroom was clean, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The staff was friendly and I think we had a pretty good experience here. I will be back, if you are in LaPlata, I highly recommend you check this place out, you may pass it a time or two, but be sure to circle back and give it a try.

Food is ok, price is too high. Wouldn't call this a tasty burger. But if you like fair food, it reminds me of a fair burger.

Food was overly greasy, chili that was on fries tasted burnt and not tasty. Delivery service was fast and efficient.

I ate one of the most tender and moist fried chicken breasts that I have ever tasted. the mashed potatoes were fresh, hot and creamy, two types of gravy were offered and both the cornbread and biscuits were tender, flavorful and delicious. The broccoli was steamed but not not floppy and the green salad was a generous portion of green goodness. I could only eat about half of the offerings and the price was less that $12. from where I was sitting, my daughter's bar be que chicken and Mac and cheese looked great and my granddaughters child portion of turkey dinner was as delicious and generous as the adult meals. It was a damn quarter sized onion lol!

Breakfast seems to be their specialty, but they also offer lunch and dinner options. Items, such as the Bacon Cheese Burger, the Chicken Bacon Wrap, Buffalo Chicken Tots, homemade soups, and quesadillas are some that you can choose from! I was super excited to try them out, as I saw this food truck stopped at a gas station when the hubs and I were out in the La Plata area; I quickly jotted them down to look them up, and that was when the drooling fest began! We ordered: the breakfast Sandwich (your choice of sausage, scrapple, bacon, or ham, with eggs cooked to order, and added cheese; we chose the bacon on white toast with over medium fried egg; simple and a straightforward breakfast sammie); the Sausage Gravy Biscuit Bowl (with buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs cooked to order, cheese, and a side of meat choice (sausage, bacon, scrapple, or ham; we opted for the sausage)); Chicken Noodle Soup (homemade, and filled with chicken, noodles, peas, corn, onions, green beans, celery, and carrots; noodles were overcooked the soup was a bit on the bland side); Loaded Tots (tater tots topped with chili, onion, cheese, pickled jalapenos, and sour cream; total comfort food at its finest); Steak Quesadilla (with salsa, cheese, corn, black beans, jalapenos, cheese, and a side of sour cream); Bacon Cheese Burger (with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, cheese, mustard, ketchup, and pickles; hand-formed patties); a Steak & Cheese Hoagie (with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions, and peppers; I requested it to be without lettuce, tomato, and peppers, but these all came with; I just picked out the lettuce, and the tomatoes, but having the pickles include was an interested but still a tasty surprise); Homemade Baked Bacon Mac & Cheese; a Big Deal Burrito (with scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa, onions, choice of meat, and sour cream; we opted for the sausage; would have loved to have a side of hot sauce or extra cup of salsa); and, a cup of Andes Mint Hot Chocolate (quite possibly the best hot chocolate EVER in the world! It was minty and creamy and just the right consistency!). All items seem to be made with love; all portions were super generous and easily shareable and equal to multiple meals for days. I'd love to try out their other seasonal and rotating menu of items, but just their hot chocolate alone is worth the trip! +Andes Mint hot chocolate! +Loaded Tots +Steak & Cheese Hoagie (hold the lettuce and tomatoes; add the pickles!) +friendly owner! +serves the Southern MD area!

Today I finally visited and was a bit disappointed to see the underwhelming interior where it is strictly carry out and cheap metal guest chairs to wait on while the food is prepared. But it's really about the food right?! Meh. It was very hit and miss. I ordered the (4) sliders with grilled onions. They were slightly charred which was nice, and they were juicy, but they could have been cooked a little more (they were like medium to medium well and I prefer well done - I should note they didn't ask how I preferred my burgers cooked). I also ordered their jumbo fried wings and picked sweet and sassy sauce. The sauce was tasty and the wings had a nice texture, but beyond the sauce the wings had a plain flavor suggesting they didn't season the wings before frying and then coating them with sauce. Overall the food was solid but not awe inspiring. I was less impressed with their cakes. I ordered a strawberry slice and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and wasn't bad at all. I've had much better, but it was edible and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. The strawberry cake however was dry and grainy. Perhaps it was old. It was definitely a waste of $7.99! On the plus side the employee was friendly and nice, so there's that!

The steak and cheese featured soggy bread with a side of limp lukewarm fries, and the jerk chicken was a poor imitation of jerk flavor, as the best word I could use to describe it was lifeless. On the bright side, the employee was friendly and the food was ready on time, so at least there was that. Unfortunately, this was a total miss so my first time will also be my last time.

Waiting for our food, we heard the booth behind us yell and ask for a manager. When we looked around to see the source of commotion, the gentleman behind us pointed out there was a cockroach on the wooden partition beside our table. We moved away from the wall and partition until the manager came. By the time he got there it was by our table, the manager asked me to move so he could see and kill it. He then proceeded to go to the table that pointed out the roach and apologized profusely. He comped their meals, offered dessert, and even two double shots of Jack Daniels...and then walked off. I didn't really care about the comps, but a quick, "hey, sorry that happened" would have been nice to our table, since I had to move to let him observe and kill the roach. We finished up sitting away from the wall area in case the roaches friends wanted to come out and play too. Hopefully it's not a more widespread issue.
