Never disappointed never a long wait. Never a reason to go anywhere else to get an affordable steak cooked and season to perfection. Texas roadhouse La Plata is one of the staples of southern Maryland. Down here, there isn't a Ruth Chris or a Morton's. We have roadhouse! And the staff make sure that cold drinks are cold, and the food is hot, and the steak is cooked to perfection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was skeptical about moving to Southern Maryland from the northern suburbs. But coming here, feels like home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Our server Jade was amazing. Great personality and keep up with a jammed pack restaurant. Now for the food... both side salads were old browning lettuce. The sides of sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes lacked flavor. The ribs were dry. The steak was ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and service was very well for literally every parking spot and table being full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Texas Roadhouse has some of the best customer service in the area. Possibly the food suffered from the crowd.

How can you go wrong with this place, they do steak and they do it well. I had the ribeye which is always my preferred cut , it's marbled with fat which gives the surrounding meat a perfect level of tenderness. I can't ever have enough of mushrooms and onions , so the fact that my steak was completely entombed in onions and mushroom sent me to my happy place . Just go and try it out they do there main thing well !

I've never had a single bad experience at this Texas Roadhouse. I've tried a variety of dishes, and each visit has delivered top-notch customer service and consistently great food. When in doubt, you can always count on Texas Roadhouse to be a solid choice--and the endless rolls are the cherry on top. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is always spotless, which just adds to the overall excellent experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Man, service was great!, our waitress was on it the whole time. My steak came out perfect, tender and juicy just how I like it. The fries were seasoned just right, not overcooked at all. That mango margarita was delicious! Only thing I didn't like was the bread -- it wasn't cooked all the way. Other than that, everything was really good!

We've been talking about Texas Roadhouse for awhile and finally made time to go. We almost turned around when we saw the notice that there was no more bread. (*in unison* No more bread!?) Apparently, the oven was out of service. Wasn't expecting that at all. We were disappointed, but hungry, so we decided to dine in anyway. What we had: COMBO APPETIZER - boneless buffalo wings (mild; double) + loaded potato skins SANGRIA MARGARITA - sugar rim w/Patrón shot LONG ISLAND ICED TEA (not pictured) - all booze, no sugary stuff FRIED CATFISH PLATTER (4) w/ loaded mashed potatoes + Caesar salad 20oz. BONE-IN RIBEYE STEAK w/grilled shrimp + broccoli + seasoned rice Notes: PARKING - Lot SERVICE - Polite, helpful (Madison) OPTIONS - Suitable PRICE - Fair __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

Herb chicken with sautéed onions and mushrooms, I added shrimp. Also broccoli and seasoned rice

So my fiance tells me to get dressed and let's go get some good food. The ambiance was lovely. I do love having a reason to dress nice and it felt romantic. Even in a room with other tables and people, it wasn't overly crowded. It was extra nice to have our server take notice of the effort I put in. I wish I knew her name because I would absolutely share and recommend her 100%. She, plus the food, really cheered me up that day and that's kind of rare. It's rare to go somewhere new and fully have your spirits lifted. We tried the crab balls, the surf and turf with steak, added scallops and some sides. It was so good. The seafood, the steak, everything was cooked to perfection. It was very filling too. I think my favorite side was the rice. I did like the macaroni but I was unexpectedly blown away by the rice. I cannot wait to go back and share the experience with my daughter. I was eyeing the lamb and from how tender the steak turned out, I will definitely order the lamb next time.

The service could have been better, but I don't think it was the servers fault. I was there for a bday party for around 20 ppl to include a dedicated kids table and 1 server to cover us all. 3-4 meals were not captured and I and 3 others had to wait until after everyone else was served to get our food. In my case I was given someone else's pizza (just pineapples) and the server took mine back and basically sprinkled Italian sausage crumbles on top. The environment was good. Family style bar/restaraunt with that local community staple vibe. Nice. Everyone was friendly, the bar tender was personable and I didn't drink anything just watched a game in the bar tv awaiting for my fam. I would go again if someone asked me to and maybe if in the area and wanted to have a drink hit the bar.wasnt the best experience but was a decent one. 3 stars seems adequate rating.

Today I finally visited and was a bit disappointed to see the underwhelming interior where it is strictly carry out and cheap metal guest chairs to wait on while the food is prepared. But it's really about the food right?! Meh. It was very hit and miss. I ordered the (4) sliders with grilled onions. They were slightly charred which was nice, and they were juicy, but they could have been cooked a little more (they were like medium to medium well and I prefer well done - I should note they didn't ask how I preferred my burgers cooked). I also ordered their jumbo fried wings and picked sweet and sassy sauce. The sauce was tasty and the wings had a nice texture, but beyond the sauce the wings had a plain flavor suggesting they didn't season the wings before frying and then coating them with sauce. Overall the food was solid but not awe inspiring. I was less impressed with their cakes. I ordered a strawberry slice and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and wasn't bad at all. I've had much better, but it was edible and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. The strawberry cake however was dry and grainy. Perhaps it was old. It was definitely a waste of $7.99! On the plus side the employee was friendly and nice, so there's that!

The steak and cheese featured soggy bread with a side of limp lukewarm fries, and the jerk chicken was a poor imitation of jerk flavor, as the best word I could use to describe it was lifeless. On the bright side, the employee was friendly and the food was ready on time, so at least there was that. Unfortunately, this was a total miss so my first time will also be my last time.

It is colorful, lively, and feels like a place that actually wants you there--not just another restaurant turning tables. That alone sets the tone. Let's talk drinks first--because they deserve it. The margaritas are not an afterthought. They are strong, well-balanced, and taste like someone behind the bar understands what they are doing. Not overly sweet, not watered down--just right. Food-wise, everything came out hot and full of flavor. You know that moment when a plate hits the table and you can already tell it is about to be good? That. Whether it was the seasoning, the portions, or just the overall freshness, it did not feel like anything was rushed or phoned in. And let me give you a real tip--always ask for a bigger table. There were five of us, and the amount of food that came out? We needed the space. This is not a "small plates, cute portions" kind of place. They show up for real. And I have to say--service matters to me, especially after some recent experiences elsewhere. Here, I did not have to flag anyone down. We were checked on, taken care of, and actually seen as guests. That should be standard, but clearly it is not everywhere--so it stood out. I literally have nothing bad to say. This is one of those places that gets added to the rotation immediately.

The hot dog was better from a sauce perspective, but the meat itself was just ok. I had hoped they had something special about their hotdogs, but it seemed to me it could have easily been something I picked up at the local supermarket. Solid, but not something I would order again. Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often…read more We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! Wherever you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and RUN, don't walk to Fahrenheit 132. You'll thank me later.
