Let me just say... this is the best Outback we've ever been to! After a long drive from visiting family--and realizing we hadn't eaten since breakfast (what were we thinking?). We pulled up to Outback absolutely starving. And baby, when I tell you we tore that food UP... we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures before digging in. So please ignore the "after damage was done" photos! Our server Ana was just as amazing as the food. Her section was literally closed, she was wiping down tables when we sat down and yet she took us with such a great attitude. No rush, super attentive, and our food came out hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. She deserves ALL the stars! For food, we ordered the Original Bloomin' Burger, juicy and flavorful just like Outback does best, and the Toowoomba Salmon --grilled salmon topped with seasoned, sautéed shrimp, mushrooms, and that creamy creole sauce. Whew! That dish alone keeps me coming back. It's THAT good. For sides, one of us had the rice and fully loaded sweet potato--actually, all three of us ordered that sweet potato because it's just too good. Another side was broccoli, and when Ana asked if we wanted it extra steamed, she was RIGHT. It came out perfect--fresh, hot, tender but not mushy. Truly no complaints. So for the second quarter in a row, my daughter made honor roll at her school and she asked could we have a family dinner out, and of course we were happy to oblige. We got there was seated immediately and our drinks orders were taken. After that, our appetizers and shortly thereafter our main dishes are ordered. Our waiter Amajai was incredible. He was attentive, apologetic when our mains took a little longer than normal to come out, and he served us with a smile the entire time. He was not flustered; he was not overwhelmed. He managed our table of six flawlessly. He not only ensured that we had what we wanted, but he made sure we had what we needed. He commandeered our table like a consummate professional. I haven't had service that well in a very, very, very long time. I would go back and ask for him to be our server again and again and again. I am so glad that our large group was assigned to him. The food was good. Everything came out hot and fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My daughter was given a complementary dessert to end her meal (because Amajai cared enough to ask if we were celebrating anything special that night) and although she had it to go, she could not have been more pleased with her special outing. Went here last night to celebrate a 15-year anniversary with the missus. The last time I ate at Outback Steakhouse, it was supposed to have an Australian theme, yet this time it appeared to be another Texas themed steakhouse. When there is a Texas Roadhouse less than a quarter mile away, you would think Outback would want to make something a little unique and lean toward the Australian theme, but that is just an impression. Granted, Texas steakhouses don't have Bloomin' Onions (Texas Roadhouse has a Cactus Blossom: same thing, different name) or Tasmanian chili (which was really good - not overly spicy but there was enough kick to sneak up on you), while the Texas Roadhouse has a Texas Red Chili (not as good as the Tasmanian chili). For dessert, I ventured at the NY Style cheesecake and was not impressed (Being from NY, I am very biased, but the Outback NY style cheesecake just wasn't anything to write home about). Overall, the server was always on point, routinely checking in with us to see if everything was up to par or if we needed any drink refills. I definitely heard her accent, if she wasn't from Texas, she sure sounded like she was from the San Antonio area. No "G'Day, Mate" but a lot of "How are y'all doing here? Is there anything else I can get for y'all?" The only "complaint I would have as far as the quality of the food was there was a LOT of salt on the 8oz Select Cut Sirloin. When I asked for it to be cooked Rare, it was delivered Rare. Good sear, deep pink in the middle and correct temperature but the salt was a little too heavy. Salt is supposed to enhance flavor, not BE a flavor. There was no need for any steak sauce, the meat melted in the mouth from beginning to end and the sweet potato was cooked perfectly. Again, only major complaint I had for last night's dinner was the amount of salt used. Will just have to remember the next time we go there to ask for lite on the salt. read more

I frequent this location at least once a week. This week I went twice. During lunch on a weekday and Saturday afternoon. I had to return during the week because I was served expired green beans. The manager was more confrontational than comforting. She replaced the side and that was it. On Saturday, I dined in and the food was incredible. The waitress took so long to greet me but she apologized and provided excellent service for the remainder of the day. My spinach dip, salmon, wine, sides were all delicious!! Our party of nine was seated from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, and we only saw our server about three times the entire evening. Drink refills were scarce, and it took an unreasonably long time to get to-go boxes--or even to spot our server nearby. We experienced a few problems on our last visit. We saw a email for 50% off appetizers, and a $10 credit via dine rewards. I asked our server about the apps, and she said she would check. After our bill came with full price, she let us know it was only valid from 4-6pm. Also the dine rewards credit wouldn't work. So, for $18, they lost us as customers. I'm not sure how Outback steakhouse always manages to prepare my steak perfectly but they do. I eat my steak medium rare. It's always juicy, tender and flavorful down to the last forkful. Although it's delivered through GrubHub, it's always at a safe temperature. I miss the wonderful ambiance that Outback offers, but right now I'm recovering from multiple surgeries so I have to enjoy their wonderful delicacies at home!! Just was out looking for a local place for date night and stumbled into the small parking lot to make a u-turn. I realized we had a gift card and decided we were coming back on Thursday. We had a great time all night. When we entered a hostess made their way up front and asked if we wanted a booth in the bar or a booth in the restaurant. Great job servicing the bar as the FIRST option. You need a raise. Once seated our cocktail waitress greeted us instantly and got a few waters fir us while we navigated the specials menu. We eventually ordered a blue moon and a blueberry martini. Both came out fast and the bartender had guests but still prioritized service bar. Again, great job. We got some wings to start which are always great then ordered some entrees. When we got our second round of drinks we switched up for 2 reasons. 1) trying to reorder another blueberry martini we were told they were out of the vodka. Okay, but why? Managers slacking. 2) ordered a smoked old fashioned but came back saying the drink couldn't be smoked cuz they didn't have the stuff for it but could just get a regular OF if we wanted it. That's fine too. Again, what is happening that the bar manager can't order specialty seasonal drinks especially things that expire months down the line? Entrees were just okay. Loaded potato def needed more toppings, and would be glad to pay lore for the toppings or just make sure it looks like the pictures on the menu. Don't order to go as they don't care to get orders correct or fix them. I ordered this $35 bone in ribeye and asked for rare. They provided a steak that was thin, tough, and more than well done. This was a lazy Saturday lunch outing where we didn't want to spend a whole lot of money but wanted variety and something that would fill us up. We were not disappointed! For starters, the service was great, our server was super attentive (I forgot her name). However, she was super polite and was never gone for long. It wasn't super crowded but it was a decent amount of people but still not too loud. We got the wings in the hot flavor with ranch and blue cheese, the blooming onion, the blooming shrimp and a side of veggies. I also had a rum punch and he got the new old fashioned which was very good. We were 100% satisfied. I was super surprised at the number of shrimp we got considering you only get about 8 or so with the coconut shrimp. By far the worst Outback that I have ever gone to. I went as a group of 4 and placed 2 fried shrimp orders, 1 loaded fry, and a burger. 30mins later we were told they were out of fried shrimp making us place 2 new orders. 1hr15mins later the food came out. Both burgers were charred and dried w/buns toasted as crackers, fries tasted off putting, and mashed potatoes tasted like they spilled the box of salt in it. 10mins later food manager came out and pulled a chair beside our table and proceeded to be disrespectful and agreeably condescending as she kept pulling her top up from falling below her bra. read more

Disappointed with our carry-out from here Sunday night. We ordered 4 meals and an appetizer and the app said 6:28pm estimated. I started getting text updates, which told me at 6:14 that my food was almost ready and to wait in my car - so we drove over to sit in the carry out spot. Our food wasn't ready til 7pm. How do you get the timing off by so much?? My chicken sammich which was billed as having honey mustard, swiss, bacon and other toppings had zero honey mustard. It did have mayo though, which I hate. The only other downside, which isn't so much in their control, is that the blooming onion and fries steam themselves in the take out containers so that by the time you get them home, they are no longer crispy. Took my family there on Saturday night (10/28) at 7:30pm. We walk in and no one else is in there waiting. There is a young man and young woman standing behind the desk. They did not speak, they did not smile, they did not make eye contact. They acted as if I wasn't there. I walked up and said "3" and they did not acknowledge it at all. The girl walked off and the guy seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. It was quite unbelievable. He seemed to avoid eye contact with me. Finally I turn around and we all walked out. I will not go back to this outback. There is another one not too far away. Things like this scream of poor management. There is only so much one person can take from a restaurant that takes absolutely no pride in their job! I won't even order a steak from this restaurant because, they can't seem to get it right. Now, I order a dessert and they put the cake in the box upside down! Do you know what happens when you put a piece of cake in a box upside down? It gets stuck to the bottom of the box!
