Stopped by last week after a workout for my first ever visit of any Mission BBQ, and I had a really positive experience ordering for takeaway. The cashier and the manager (I assume she was a manager) were extremely patient while I looked over the menu and decided what to get. They also told me about what dishes from the menu are really popular, what each of their handful of sauces go well with what I ordered or which ones I would like based on my preferences. This interaction was really great for me, especially since I was exhausted from a long day of work and a rigorous workout. I was just really hungry! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich North Carolina Style (but the cole slaw is on the side) combo with a side of fries and a drink. I also asked for the Smoky Mountain sauce. The sandwich was really tender and delicious, and the fries hit the spot! Maybe I was just starving, but I greatly enjoyed my meal. The only thing I was a little upset by was the large bone in my sandwich; with the size of the bone, the cook could've just removed it so I didn't bite into it and have not been in pain for a few minutes. The restaurant wasn't too packed, but there were more than a handful of people in there enjoying their meal. It was fairly clean from what I noticed. it wasn't too loud; the vibe was pretty chill. There are also outdoor tables and seating for when the weather is nice! I had a great experience and will not hesitate to come back again!

I had the apple cobbler this week. Absolutely delicious! The meatloaf was a very generous portion but it was served with a ketchup mixture that was WAY to spicy! The Mac and Cheese was old fashioned and had extra melted cheddar throughout.

We had dinner there on 6/29/2024. My wife had the brisket sandwich with a side of green beans. The brisket was sliced to order. I had a few pieces as my wife couldn't eat it all. It was a little dry and bland. The Texas twang sauce helped. The beans were flavorful, very tasty. I had the pastrami, a side of coleslaw and potato salad. The pastrami was tender and delicious. I would eat that again. I did like the mustard that was served with the pastrami. The coleslaw was a little dry. I wasn't impressed with the coleslaw and didn't finish it. The potato salad was tasty. No complaints about the potato salad. I liked the amount of pastrami on my plate. I feel that a side should be included with the meal. The cornbread was average, a little dry to me. You order at the counter, so I have no comment on service. Overall, it was a decent meal. I am basing my rating on the bland brisket and subpar coleslaw.

Found this place after leaving the Sully Historic Site of the Lee family (relatives of Robert E.) and the National Air and Space Museum suburban outpost near Dulles airport. Portions were small and sides were not included, so if you have a craving for any of them, know they are only available ala carte. The sauces are all tasty; personally, I really enjoyed the Kansas City sauce because I like tart, vinegary mixes. Service is fast and friendly. Ambience is bright and cheery but very military. Another reviewer used the word patriotic. It's a small chain in these parts, apparently, so give it a try if it's convenient.

Their menu features an impressive all-you-can-eat selection of premium meats and seafood, and we always appreciate the BIG variety. The quality of the meat truly stands out -- it's fresh, well-cut, and consistently flavorful. You can taste the difference. One thing that really sets Sōdayz apart from other nearby Korean BBQ spots is the service. It's superior. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, quick to bring refills, and they proactively replace the grill multiple times throughout the meal -- which makes a huge difference in keeping everything tasting clean and fresh. Also, instead of dripping sauce in my car like before, I can now eat at a couple of new high tables and seats next to the truck. Fantastic improvements from before. The best part is of course is the menu. I noticed some new items have been added to it. That menu really does change from week to week and that's keeps me coming back. I had the dry rub ribs which were phenomenal when you dip it in their sauce which was sweet and vinegary at the same time. Not dry but crisp outside and moist inside. I also tried the beef rib which was new and I really enjoyed it. They serve a single beef rib that's so big it won't even fit in the damn container. Tender, juicy, and has that fantastic wood grill smell to it. Crispy exterior but inside is very moist. Very tender and cuts easily. If you get this, don't bother getting anything else. It's a whole lotta lotta meat. Then top everything off with their delicious baked beans that comes with the order. It may seem pricey but for the quality and quantity, this is a great deal compared to other locations found within the walls of a restaurant. This is how I've imagined roadside bbq should be and I'm not disappointed. This place is just worth every mile of that 20 I travel to get here.
