This is right near the entrance. It's just an example of the decor.

I love this place. We're meeting up with the grandparents and me and the two Littles were sitting at the table, holding the table and one of the hostesses just walked up with a thing of fries and said would you guys like some fries. I didn't order them and it was good for the kiddos. That is caring how kids feel, that is Superior service. I love the atmosphere. It's very pro veteran and pro-American and it feels like a place where they love the things I love. They have excellent barbecue brisket barbecue pork. I love their sides. The corn is good. My sweetie says she is enjoying the biscuit and the green beans are like melting your mouth. She says she is really enjoying those. She's sampling the sauces as she works away through it. She likes the South Carolina one best so far cause she's a fan of the mustard. They have good options for the kiddos with mac & cheese or other kiddos centric sandwiches. They have small slider sandwiches for the kiddos. My oldest says this: the mac & cheese is not box mix. It is made in house. The pulled pork sandwich is very tasty. I'd like the smoky flavor. The waitress also brought out some Cajun corn samples, I'm not a very spice loving person. Corn was good, but I didn't finish it. All in all the food was tasty. My second oldest says: I got mac & cheese and it's really good. It is not box mix actually it's made of real cheese and I also got the turkey sandwich which is really tasty. It's not overcooked and it's not undercooked. It's like perfect and there's none of those disgusting micro plastic filled cheese in it, which is really nice. My mom gave me a bit of her cornbread and it's really sweet and also a bit savory too, which is like the perfect combination and it's it's pretty good. Grandma says the food is very good. She likes the seasonings on it. She got collard greens with it and says they are excellent. Personally, I'm pretty jealous because although I enjoyed the Cajun corn, I didn't know they had collard greens.

I really like the look and feel of this place. Order at the counter meal was ready before I grabbed my fountain drink. Nice selection of sauces at the table, I prefer to taste the meat but they were pretty good. I had the two meat platter pork and brisket and added a couple ribs to get a feel for their meats. Brisket was offered moist or lean, of course I went with moist. Nice flavor and seasoning, I would prefer a bit more bark but tasty. Pulled pork was moist but needed sauce not much flavor. The pork ribs were the stand out for me, meaty bite off the bone. I really liked the decor and the challenge coins in the table were very cool. Overall a solid place and I look forward to retuning

Mission knows how to B-B-Q! Great selection of meats and sides. We tried a pulled pork sandwich with side of corn casserole and a pulled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. Order at the counter, take a seat, then they call your name when it's ready. The food was delicious. Meats were tasty. Corn casserole was awesome, and the fries were crispy. They have six sauces to choose from, all on the table. My favorites were Smoky Mountain and Memphis Belle. Some of the best BBQ I've had in a while. Service was also excellent and they took time to walk us through their process. Overall, highly recommend!

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My best friend and I stopped in for dinner. He got the brisket sandwich and I got the smoked burger. The place is decorated in military memorabilia, but I will say this. The food was very good and I can't wait to come back and try other items. I will say this, the smoked burger and fries are very good I will say maybe the best flavored burger I have had. And I love fresh fries. I had the lemonade and sweet tea.

Bald White Guy Reviews - First Review! MISSION BBQ - Mason, OH Rating: ‍‍‍‍ (4 out of 5 Bald Heads) Had to run an errand today and decided to meet up with my University of Cincinnati student son for a quick lunch. He suggested Mission BBQ in Mason. I'd never been, so while waiting on my lunch guest, I did what any modern diner does--scoped out the menu online www.mission-bbq.com. Brisket, pulled meats, fries, and all the fixin's. Sweet tea, lemonade, and a soda lineup that could make a gas station jealous. Pulling into the lot, the first thing I noticed--besides the fact that my stomach was already growling--was the smell of the smoker drifting through the air like a meaty siren song. The exterior was spotless, and the military/first responder theme was clear before I even walked in. Inside, it's a tribute wall of service--military photos, law enforcement, fire, and EMS patches (I'm guessing donated by patrons). As a first responder myself, I appreciated the respect baked into the atmosphere. Pro tip for first-timers: You order at the counter, grab your own drink, and find a seat. When your food's ready, they call your name and bring it to you. Simple, efficient, and no awkward "who's my server?" moments. I went with the pulled pork sandwich, fresh-cut fries, and a sweet tea. The pork? Tender, smoky, and full of that slow-cooked depth that makes you want to close your eyes for a second bite. The fries? Fresh Cut, Golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside--basically the potato equivalent of a standing ovation. On the table: a BBQ sauce tour of America--Texas Twang, Smoky Mountain, Memphis Belle, KC Classic, South Carolina Zing, and my personal favorite, Tupelo Honey Heat (sweet, spicy, and just dangerous enough to keep you coming back). Bonus points for the vinegar bottle--perfect for fries, just like the county fair. Mid-meal, an employee came around offering samples of their corn casserole. I'm not saying it changed my life, but I wouldn't turn it down if it showed up at my table again. The verdict: $34 for two lunches. The frugal side of me thinks that's a bit steep for a quick bite, but let's be honest--everywhere's pricey these days. The food was solid, the atmosphere was genuine, and the service was warm. Mission accomplished. I will go back for sure. If you in the area it is worth the stop! First Responders - Take a uniform patch from your department to add to the wall! Final score: 4 Bald Heads. Not 5--because my wallet still remembers.

From the entrance in a corner. To the left out of sight is a wall full of booth seating.

Everyone working here was very nice. The service was great as was the food. The atmosphere is patriotic with customers standing for the National Anthem while I was there. As a veteran I appreciated this immensely. Although they do not offer a veteran, or military discount, they DO have a veterans VIP club linked on their site. I got a free (huge) sandwich of my choice from the sandwich menu - delicious! I'm local to this place, and it was my first visit, and I assure you it will not be my last. A definite strong recommendation is warranted. If you haven't been and you like bbq joints, it would be a travesty to not check this place out!

Great location, great service, and amazing food. Easy and plenty of parking, the inside is roomy, welcoming, and very clean. The aroma to when you walk in will make your mouth water. The owner/manager I am not sure which he was but very nice and was involved on making sure everyone was happy. I love salmon and yes I know who orders salmon at a BBQ restaurant but I seen in an had to. Probably the best I have ever had. Juicy, large portion, smokey, and full of flavor. 10/10 recommend. The fries and banana pudding was also amazing and will definitely order again.

Pulled pork, brisket, and one side of beans. Also a water and one soft drink not included in photo. $21.87!!

Pulled pork is good. My husband likes the brisket. Really pricey for what you get. $21.87 for picture below. And please invest in some pagers. The woman literally screams out the name of the order that's ready. You can hardly place your order with the person behind the counter.

We waited about 5 minutes for a table, they were cleaning & turning tables fast. We reviewed the menu as they have a much larger selection than Frisch's ever did, since this was our first visit we went with the classics fish sandwich & the signature. They have Pepsi instead of Coke & they were out, also out of lemonade & sweet tea too. Once our food arrived, the fish sandwich was hot & quite larger than previous Frisch's. The signature the bun it was served on was stale & fell apart, the burger patties are larger, but the lettuce was on the bottom & lots of pickles, I couldn't taste the tarter sauce at all, but the waitress was too busy to ask for more. Their fries were okay, I miss the crinkle cut. We finished off by sharing a hot fudge cake, which was huge, the cake is thickly sliced & with a hand scooped vanilla ice cream, as soon as you went in with a spoon to get a bite it completely fell apart. Good try Dolly's I would rerun again to try something else or breakfast as there were a variety of omelettes, scrambles, potato pancakes which sounded good.

I passed by and saw open and went in alone for recon. I asked the waiter about my beloved chili spaghetti dinner and she said,"not even similar!" My vegetable soup I love, I asked. Perhaps the stripped down depressed cousin. They had Frisch's ketchup bottles with the labels peeled of leaving them sticky and nasty. Bring back Frisch's
