Positives: Had the brisket sandwich, green beans and potato salad. Brisket was tender and had great flavor. Hot barbecue sauce was solid. Sides were decent size. Only negatives are that the food was a little pricey. Well over $40 for 2 platters. Also no barbecue sauce on the tables. Basically they give you the amount they want to give you. No extra available. Turns out I never had GOOD ribs until today! They should call this place "Hog Heaven". The ribs were very tender, but not dried out like so many places serve them. The baked beans were fantastic - made with some cinnamon and other yummy spices. The cornbread was delicious too. The owner took our order, then came out to chat for a while while we were eating. Very fun guy. Ambiance was not fancy but pretty cute nonetheless: lots of piggy statues and old fashioned metal signs. It's not a large restaurant; a lot of their business is carry out. Stopped in for date night dinner. I had a sliced brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and their roasted potatoes. My boyfriend had pulled pork with roasted potatoes. The real star was their warm and sweet sauce. A beautiful balance of sweetness, vinegar, and heat. They were so friendly!! You can tell they are proud of their product too. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. After ordering my food and getting my table, I wasn't able to get a YouTube video picked out before the food was already dropped off.
