Pho Buddha / Pho Chay

Grabbed dinner with my best friend and we loved it. The staff was wonderful and the space felt intimate and was really lovely. Their menu is very extensive. I ordered the pho Buddha and the portion was very generous and the brother was so flavorful. I can't wait to revisit!

Summer roll with shrimp and pork and the best dipping sauce

So excited Miss Saigon reopened. We finally made it out and I can't say enough about how delicious everything was. Started with Shrimp chips and a summer roll. The main was the chicken lemongrass curry. Ordered it with extra sauce and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and fast which is greatly appreciated. Can't wait to come back with our friends who would regularly visit the previous locations with us.

Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly! While I was waiting for my order, they offered me some water. Open restaurant with a good amount of tables. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee (iced coffee with condensed milk) with the black boba. 10/10 it was so good and perfect pick me up. I was stuck between ordering the regular grilled pork and the bbq pork. I ended up going for the bbq pork per the employee's recommendation. The pork itself was soft and tender. The roll was also soft and fresh. Something was missing and i can't think of what it is. It didn't have the strong cilantro flavor that banh mi usually does, or maybe a sauce was missing? I will try the grilled pork next time.

This is a hole in the corner and the service is phenomenal and quick. We got there and although it was packed we were sat pretty quickly. I'm recovering from the flu and needed a magic soup and this definitely helped. The veggie rolls were crunchy and crispy and come with a great sweet sauce. The environment was pretty calm.

Finally made it here for a papaya salad. I absolutely love them and once I heard they put an extra touch on there's I had to try. So we started with the spring rolls which were absolutely delicious and crunchy and jusy full of flavor. We had 3 pieces each and still wanted more. You have to try them and they come with this clear sauce that's sweet but gives it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The papaya salad caught me a little off guard as they add pork and mint to there's. I opted to 86 the pork but keep the mint. I won't lie at first I wasn't feeling it at all. But once I added a little extra heat to it ( BTW they add no heat unless requested and the number goes up to 8) and mixed it all up it was really good. It also came with shrimp chips to help keep the heat to a distance. Service was swift and friendly and you sit where you want. It's the perfect spot for an authentic experience and friendly atmosphere

Great Vietnamese food! Each plate we got was filled with lots of flavor, veggies, protein, and was shareable. The service was absolutely amazing. The owner is very sweet and cares about the quality of the food and making customers happy. The ambiance was good as well; it's family-owned so everyone was so friendly with one another and very helpful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Tried Miss Saigon for the first time and wow -- everything was so fresh and full of flavor! The owner was super nice and helped us pick what to try since we'd never had Vietnamese food before. Every dish was a hit. Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu!

I was out and about with my family and we got hungry. My kids love Asian food so we decided to stop in at Miss Saigon. We started with the clam appetizer. This was a fan favorite. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. It had a delicious taste. We all wanted more. For my main meal I had the pad Thai. It had a good balance of flavor a little dry but still good. My kids had the seafood pho which they said the broth was delicious. My son-in-law had the beef pho which he also said had really good broth. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Pho Buddha

Came here on a friend's suggestion, left here excited to come back. Miss Saigon has a legacy of quality Vietnamese food and their newest location delivers on all levels. I had the Pho Buddha for dinner, and it was a flavor bomb; brimming with fresh herbs, veggies, spices, and a masterfully crafted broth. It was everything I could have asked for on a cold Miami night. Yet, what really sealed the deal for me was the customer service. Everyone working the front-end was beyond cordial and are genuinely great people who truly care about their food and our experience. That alone would keep me coming back. I can't wait to explore more of the menu!

This bowl came with dry rice-vermicelli noodles and grilled shrimp plus veggies. It was so delicious and filling. I asked for a side of peanut sauce because I prefer it over the oil they provide on the side. The service was great, our server was very attentive and brought our food out fairly quick. Definitely have to come back to try their pho and bubble tea when I'm feeling a more heavier meal. Can't wait to go back! There is lots of parking because it's located in a shopping plaza.

I have said this several times, and I will say it again. I really, really wish that Yelp would give…read morehalf stars. I would give this place four and a half stars. Not quite five, due to the price and a few other factors (I try to give 5 stars sparingly otherwise what does 5 stars really mean???) but it is refreshing to finally find an establishment of Asian cuisine in Miami that serves food similar to what I am expecting. As I've said before, I'm from Minnesota, which people do not realize that there is a large South Asian population there and therefore a ton of great places to get pho. Therefore, I'm a pho snob. And this place feels like I am at home, on University Ave near Frogtown in St. Paul. The broth is aromatic, I can taste the star anise, the beef bone broth, and the accompaniments of culantro in addition the the usuals of thai basil, lime, bean sprouts is a nice added touch. The one thing that I will say is that when I got my bowl of Pho item #29, the meatball and rare steak, I went to do the noodle pull and was completely surprised when I pulled up noodles that looked like linguine! Rice noodle linguine! Not the usual "angel hair pasta-like," thin rice noodles that are in every single pho bowl I've ever eaten over the last several decades across the country (MN, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia...). I was so shocked that I asked the server what was going on. The server admitted that this was what the restaurant received as an export recently: the flat, wide rice noodles, and to get the regular pho noodles, it was only upon request. The server must have been able to see that I was flabbergasted because he offered to give me the same dish to go, but with the traditional noodles, free of charge!!! I also got the spring rolls, which were the usual that you could expect with the peanut dipping sauce and fresh crushed peanuts. The only thing that I have gripes about was the amount of rice noodles inside the roll. There were more rice noodles than other ingredients, which was disconcerting. Nevertheless, it is your standard spring roll with peanut sauce. It still satisfied my craving. I was also impressed by the tea! That sounds funny maybe, but they had a pot of loose leaf jasmine tea rather than tea bags, and I greatly appreciated the nod to real tea leaves. The place was clean, the service was great, and I will be back.

I tried a bunch of things! Before I get you excited, please make sure to get a reservation, the place was PACKED! And we were glad we had a reservation as they were not accepting walk ins at the time we arrived 6pm Saturday. On to the food... The scallop crudo was absolutely delicious! Creamy coconut flavors with delicious savory and herbaceous Thai basil, creamy scallop and the fresh pomelo bursting as you bite through it. Absolutely craveable and simply perfect! The grilled oyster were completely different than I expected! The salted egg hollandaise was something I had never tasted before, the richness and thickness of the sauce coating the oyster completely blew my mind! Don't have 1, you must have at least 2! The second was even better than the first! And the tam tam tam wings! Perfect combination of sweet and spice! I did order extra hot sauces on the side (because I wanted more kick, but not because they lacked flavor, they were perfect and simply elevated by the green sauce that's typically on the prawns apparently). Lastly, the lamb curry, with the egg noodles. The perfect ending to our meal. I loved the texture of the noodles, they had a perfect bite and the lamb was super tender! I would recommend to mix it all up and add a splash of lime. Just perfect! If you can get a seat at the bar, you'll love the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, although the seats are not as comfortable as being at the table, but the friendliness of the staff will make it well worth it!

They've added some more popular drinks like the Basic B**ch which is like a lychee martini, and the Upper East Side which were both very delicious. I had two of each! For the HH snacks, we got the shrimp and the pork dumplings and we all agreed the Shrimp Dumpling was the favorite. It's sauce was soy-based, while the pork had kind of a curry base. We really went for a Birthday reservation. So after happy hour at the bar we moved over to our table. And order more drinks and more good eats! I suggested the Edemame Hummus (again) [still amazing!]. But we also got the Octopus and Imperial Eggrolls. Side note - our server Natalia was really kind to our very active table of two checks and 8 people. She went over the menu, and she was so convincing we ordered everything that she talked about. She even asked if I wanted a drink and I didn't at first, but then she went on to talk about the Upper East Side, and I was sold. For the main entrees, we shared the Branzino which is market price, the Millionaire Rice, and the Bo Luc Lac (filet mignon). All were amazing. I'd ordered it all again. Will definitely be back.

So I jumped on Yelp to look for the nearest highly rated pho restaurant in came across Photastic. The yelp directions brought me to a parking space right in front of the restaurant. We arrived around 8 PM, an hour before closing. We were greeted immediately and sat in a nice table, which was clean and well equipped for a pho meal. Menus and water were brought immediately along with a warm greeting from the waitress. Immediately, I noticed that I had interacted with two members of the staff at each admin, gracious and welcoming. I found the discontinued through the entire meal with other people, stopping by to make sure that everything was perfect and being enjoyed by us. I went to the restroom to wash and noted it to be immaculate. This is usually one of the best signs that a restaurant pays attention to detail and I am always happy to see that they are meticulous. Our order was taken and we were served very quickly. First out was the condiments/toppings. The peanut based sauce for the spring rolls and the vegetables for the pho. We began with Gỏi Cuốn, Vietnamese spring rolls. Traditionally these are fresh shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and lettuce wrapped in thin, translucent rice paper served cold with a savory dipping sauce, often a peanut-based sauce and here they are customized with delicious fresh herbs and vegetables, as well as pork. Personally, I do not like it as much with pork, but had not noticed that it was made this way on the menu when I ordered and next time, I'll ask if it is available without the pork. I will say, however, that is hands-down, the very best Gỏi Cuốn I have ever eaten. My wife and I both ordered pho. She chose the chicken while I opted for the steak and meatball. We found all of the meats very chewy in texture, but they were extremely tasty. The portions were huge and the broth was delicious. The flavorful soups with fresh noodles and ingredients were both spectacular. Portions are excellent. I like mine spicy and the perfect condiments were available right on the table. The Matcha latte Boba tea was quite good as well. Prices were in line with other local restaurants which will somewhat high are right, where I expect them to be locally. The overall experience was great. I did notice that somebody walked in about a minute before the post to closing time and was turned away. While, I find this to be unusual in local family owned restaurants, it is certainly not unreasonable. So if you're a late eater, check the hours before arriving. This was my first visit in this restaurant has moved right onto my list of favorite comfort foods nearby my home. If you like pho, I highly recommend you try it.

First bite into it blew my mind of how crispy on the outside and soft in the inside the bread was. The flavor that came with every bite had me asking a sharing bowl to try all the other orders. Everything was delicious and definitely worth the sweat and calories that came with it. The gains of enriched flavor, strong beef collagen broth , and crispy vegetables spring roll noodles made a pleasant meal. It was not packed when we got there around 3 pm and the restaurant was spacious. Quick service as well.

And I feel like I have to say this: some of these reviews are clearly linked to exposure. The pho here was FINE. Solid 3. The service? Not good at all. The woman who cooks/runs this place was all over the place. There was nothing kind, grateful, or warm about her as she took orders and prepared food. Her husband was nice but the lack of attentive service from her was not cool. She was very tuned in to the other couple dining but I called her several times (in that tiny space) and she seemed to not hear me. I also have to say that the size of their homemade teas is super generous. However, while I was there, two tables, including mine, were served Thai Iced Teas with sour milk. When I finally got the owner's attention, she frowned when I told her and said, "I just served that." And then went to the other table to double-check as if my words wouldn't quite do it. lol The other table confirmed it was sour. The owner took the cups, no apology or nothing, and asked us if we wanted it remade. I asked for a coke instead. A bottle was $5... five whole dollars. Egg rolls: okay. Def a bit bland.. Served with some weird ketchupy sweet/sour sauce. I asked for fish sauce, which was good. Paid about $36 for pho, egg rolls, and a drink. If this is your only pho option in the area, go for it, but i was not impressed especially once my stomach processed the sour milk.
