Well I can say that I found my new favorite spot for special fried rice. Boy is this rice good and loaded. I'm talking big shrimps, rib meat, chicken, ham, and veggies. I also tried their Mongolian beef and I might add that it was pretty amazing too. They only do lunch combo specials. Every other time is a la carte. Prices are on the steeper side But we'll worth it. Great place Chineese food they just started sit down service it was 100% delivery and pick up. They do a huge business in pickup while I was there on a Saturday late afternoon. Ample free parking, easy to order, they still have a dining room however now you order at w the cashier and they deliver the food to your table no more servers, they focus more on takeout and delivery. Although the Dining room is a little dated the food is good, cooked fresh daily and more importantly the place is VERY CLEAN. The owner operator takes pride in the appearance and the food quality. We ordered the Cashew Chicken which comes with vegetables and rice, it tasted great but was a little dry could of used a little more sauce, (they offered to throw back in the Wak) you could taste the freshness. We picked up take out. House special fried rice and honey garlic chicken. Food was tasty and fresh. Prices are a little higher than other independently owned restaurants. Restaurant is mainly busy for takeout, only 1 table was seated. Service was efficient, and everyone was polite. I placed the to go order as a walk-in, and it only took about 20 minutes. We had plenty of leftover, which we ate the same night for dinner, but it wasn't as good reheated. For portion ideas- we were 8 adults, and we ordered 3 of the larger rice (they say it feeds 2-3) and the same for the garlic honey chicken. We all ate both times. Circumstances with COVID eating there has changed up a bit due to the lack of employees they have. It is only Take Out and Delivery as their Dine In is closed. Super bummed so take out it is! My go to dishes will always be: * Cazuela de Mariscos (make sure you squeeze extra lime and put extra cilantro) * Confucio Fried Rice * Spring Rolls * Szechuan Beef * Spare Ribs with extra sauce * Crab Ragoon * Beef & Broccoli in Mongolian Sauce (you can ask them any dish with a certain sauce and they will work it out for you - love it!) * Chow Mein Special (super crunchy noodles; make sure you ask them to put the Veggies on the side and when you get home you can put it on top) * Their homemade Sweet and Sour Sauce get extra put it on anything! and the list goes on! Quick update: They opened their dining area! I went this last weekend and they have a new system as far as ordering the food but really it's just you have to go up to the counter and order and then they bring your food to the table. My first dining experience at this restaurant was 15 years ago when a close friend invited me to his father's birthday dinner. I was truly impressed as I wasn't expecting such authenticity. I can say that it's the best Chinese food I've had in this area. To this very day, I actually drive 34 round trip miles to pick up my order as their dining room has yet to open since the pandemic. The staff members are attentive, courteous, and eager to help with any special requests. They don't skimp on ingredients which is essential when cooking this cuisine. I think I found the best Chinese food place in Miami after I was done eating here at Jardines de Confucio. It reminded me when I lived in New York City and ate at places like "La Victoria China" and "La Caridad China". This place is way better I think. The Confucio Rice (House Special Fried rice) was absolutely fantastic. Soooooo beautiful I just wanted to look at it and not eat it. Lots going on in this rice. Nice big chunks of roast bbq pork, Shrimp, chicken etc. Absolutely delicious and the freshness is very noticeable with every bite. Had the Mongolian chicken which was also very delicious. Special. fried. rice. Please do yourself the favor and order their special fried rice! It may seem pricey but it comes loaded with different protein, and it's big enough to share between two or three people. Most items on their menu are great but that's my #1 recommendation. The restaurant is taking COVID precautions seriously and only allowing orders for pick-up. They have a table set up right at the entrance of the restaurant where they hand over your food once it's ready. A coworker recommended this restaurant, so I had to try it. I ordered the lunch special honey garlic chicken that came with fried rice and egg roll. The rice was light and fluffy. Garlic honey sauce had garlic pieces it tasted home made in separate containers which is a great idea so you won't have soggy chicken. Everything was really good. Totally recommend it! read more

1. The bring your food out on a cart. The same cart is used to pickup dirty dishes from other tables. The cart has a shelf linen on it that absorbs stains. Very unhealthy. 2. You have to ask for water, it's not brought to your table unless requested. 3. If you order food they try to talk you out of ordering more than needed. Our server explained the owners don't like giving Togo boxes. 4. I asked the server if he preferred cash or credit card tip (I paid my bill with card), he said cash as the owners take a percentage from them. 5. All our dishes came out warm, nothing hot. 6. Check your bill! They add gratuity on it. This was my first and last visit. The food wasn't bad considering the temperature, but the 6 points I mentioned above made the place a major turnoff. read more

I really had to try to decide if it was a 3 or 4 star... sometimes it is pretty hard to figure it out, so in this particular case I went with various different parts of my experience. First things first, my nail lady explained to me that this was the same Jardines de Confucio as in Barranquilla, Colombia, that she had recognized the owners. Upon hearing this I figured it was necessary to try it to see if it was the same as I remembered. This is not your corner Chinese takeout place but a nice restaurant and the decor is quite tasteful, and nice. Service was A-OK, but we did have to ask for chopsticks, as they were not provided. We were given fried noodles as an appetizer, I didn't relish eating with my fingers and they are impossible to eat with a fork. With it they provided a little serving container (with spoon) that is obviously reused with sweet and sour sauce. So, how do I eat both together without either dipping my fingers into the sauce or well getting sauce all over my fingers after pouring it on my fried noodles? Made me think: "How many people with the same problem end up dipping their fingers in this sauce that obviously is reused?" Since is it a nice restaurant you don't have options of a dish that includes, say a soup, a spring roll, rice with your dish. You have to order each thing separately. We weren't too hungry so we ordered a vegetable fried rice $9, and a Shrimp and Scallop stir fried in Salt and Pepper - $18. I figured that a rice with nothing but veggies for $9 was a tad steep, and $18 for a main dish would at least include a soup or a spring roll. The rice was exactly as I remembered and quite good. The Shrimp and Scallop dish was also good, but considering everything the price and horrid parking pushed my review from a 4 to a 3 star. If you like South American style Chinese food this is the perfect place. Know that it may be pricey though. read more

Definitely the best Chinese fried rice in Miami after reading a review I decided to order it and since my mom like bean sprouts and egg I order extra so I told them for an extra charge I called made the order and told my friend to drive there when I told where it was he said that is far why we don't order somewhere closer and I said my mom likes this place so we did and he said man it was good and it was. Food is good but be very careful about the pricing. We placed an order for four items payed $70.20 for them. According to the online menu the price should have been $60.99 including tax. When we called to enquire about the difference in price we were told that some people upload different menus to their website with other prices and they cannot be held responsible for that.
