The best takeout! Ordered via UberEats- the food is always fresh and huge portions. Be careful with "very spicy", it's beyond spicy.

Yesterday, we placed an order and were told delivery would take about an hour and a half. After waiting that long, we called to check on the status and were informed that deliveries were no longer possible because the House of Horror event had created major gridlock on Bird Road.Since Blue Elephant's food is always exceptional, we told them we would gladly pick up the order ourselves. Shortly afterward, the manager called and generously offered to credit our order because of the inconvenience. As always, the food was outstanding and well worth the trip. Their customer service was just as impressive as their cuisine. You can never go wrong with Blue Elephant! read more

Blue Elephant serves some of the best Thai food in Miami! It's unfortunate that it's takeout only, I would love them to open a full restaurant one day. I've been ordering from them for years, they never disappoint. read more

I ordered UberEats from here actually thinking it was another restaurant, but I'm so glad I made this mistake! Blue Elephant is take out only, no dine-in available. My order was ready earlier than anticipated and the woman at the front was very friendly. Our pad thai, fried rice, shrimp shumai and salmon roll cured our cravings. Everything we ordered was hearty and filling. The salmon in particular was fresh and buttery. It was a good amount of food for the price. I recommend checking out Blue Elephant! read more

Always dependably delicious. We love the pad Thai so much it's hard to tear ourselves away from it to explore something new.

We have ordered takeout from this restaurant plenty. The food never disappoints - always fresh and delicious. A few of our go-to items are: Chicken fried rice, curry, and pad thai. Always a crowd pleaser for the family. read more

Great food. Very fresh and tasty. Nice preparation and appearance. Will definitely order again!

I've ordered from here via Uber Eats several times now. I've had their massamon curry, panang curry and the drunken noodles all with medium spice level. I asked for chicken to be added to each dish. I also had extra potatoes added to the curries. All three of the dishes I've tried have been amazing. The massamon curry is the perfect comfort food; it has the perfect blend of warm spices and is creamy and delicious. The panang curry is rich and flavorful and bold on the tongue. It has a tiny bit of zest, which I believe is from lemongrass. Just as delicious as the massamon. The drunken noodles were also very flavorful but the curries definitely stole the spotlight. read more

Amazing Pad thai. Hidden gem in westchester. Takeout only but worth it. Great tuna tataki, gyoza, and sushi.

They have BABY CORN.....and it is fabulous in the Veggie Pad Thai!! We went to a similar place in the area and NO BABY CORN. They said Donald Trump's tariffs on BABY CORN made it too expensive. I was mad!! But then I found Blue Elephant and had all the BABY CORN I could handle. Oh, and the Chicken in Cashew Sauce, spring rolls and ginger salad were fantastic too! Eureka I found my BABY CORN at this 5-star, take-out only delight. read more

Had Blue Elephant sushi for the first time and delivered via UberEATS - It was fantastic and extremely fresh. California Eel Roll: 5 stars! Simple, but delectable and delicious. Super Dragon Roll: 5 stars! Amazing flavor, fresh and beautifully made. Miami Heat Roll: 5 stars! The best Miami Heat roll in Miami. Incredibly flavored!! Amazing. I cannot wait to try more menu items! The padThai is next on my list, hoping that next time it's not sold out. Clearly there is so much more to discover at the Blue Elephant. I can't wait to place my next order. read more

The food was really good! The prices were also good but I do wish the portions were a little bigger. This is TAKE OUT ONLY!! So, don't go and expect to be seated. The food was done very quickly too (about 15-20 minutes). I would order again for sure. read more

Blue Elephant - a receipt on a table - Thai Near Me - Miami, Florida

Really small restaurant that's hard to find, especially since the sign says "thai & sushi" not "blue elephant." The food is really tasty though, and the owners are so sweet! The food: tom kha soup: 5/5, amazing soup! Best dish on the menu. The broth was silky and just had a bit of kick to it. I can't even begin to describe it! If you come here, you have to get it! Fried rice: 4/5, really great dish! The meat to rice to vegetable ratio was perfect, and the flavors were spot on. I personally think it had a tad bit too much salt, but other than that it was great! Service: 4/5, the owners were so sweet! They brought out the food quickly and always checked up on us. Great service! Overall, really tasty thai food. The restaurant is SMALL, like about 15-20 chairs. But the food is amazing! read more

Ordered take out of the volcano roll and drunken noodle but the items were unusually greasy. I've never had greasy sushi so this was a disappointment. I ended up scraping off the topping for the volcano roll because it was way too mushy and oily. I've had better sushi and drunken noodles in Miami so overall this place gets a 3/5 from my first experience. read more

Saturday night, the weather outside was frightful, so we ordered from a place down the road called, Blue Elephant. All in all this is as good of a Thai restaurant as you'll find in south Miami / gables / west Miami / Kendall Here's the breakdown.... Pad Thai - incredible, the Thai version of Al dente. Medium spicy with beef is some of, if not the, best I've had in Miami Red curry - medium spicy with beef, mix it with the rice for a solid flavor Ocean roll - fishier than expected , high protein at least Spring rolls were awesome not overly breaded read more

This is a hidden gem. Authentic and great taste. They are also extremely pleasant and decent portions. You cant go wrong.

Kon Chau was packed and Blue Elephant wasn't. That's how Mar H. and I ended up there. I had had Blue Elephant bookmarked for ages, but hey, when you have thousands of bookmarks, it's very easy to forget about a place. I have to say this is one that shouldn't be forgotten. This has been the best sushi I have had in Miami period. Everything is so ridiculously fresh. It's as if they just caught it from the sea. I had a dragon roll. My friend had a snow crab roll. We each took a bite of each other's roll. Have to say this is the first time ever I remember actually liking crab. Then again, it wasn't that imitation nonsense they usually give you that is cavity inducing. Each roll was around $12 or so and it was a heavy portion. Note, though, the location is small and it shares its parking lot with many other businesses. You shouldn't have an issue being attended though as it seems to be the new kid on the block. That and the majority of orders were take-out ones. I really hope this restaurant continues to get business as it's exquisite and I don't want it to close. That and if I feel this way about the sushi, I can't wait to go back and try the Thai portion of the menu. read more

Ordered the Pad Kee Mao. It was delicious, medium spice, I loved it. The owner is a lovely person as well. However, the portion they gave me was so small that I may not go back. Hopefully, it was a mistake. read more

Ordered the drunken noodles for delivery. They arrived nice and hot. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the spice level (medium/3) was excellent. I ordered with the flat noodles. I generally prefer the flat noodles to be a little wider than these are. Otherwise, the ratios of protein, vegetables, and noodles was very good. I would order/eat from here again. read more

Blue elephant, Service was good and lunch special was good. Place was empty and this is a restaurant with less than 20 chairs. I believe that this is like a family restaurant and food was very fresh, However nothing that sets it apart from the rest. Probably will stop by some other time to give it a second chance. read more

food is great and owner and family are very nice. my favorite and go to thai restaurant in Miami

Best take out Thai restaurant in Miami. Everything on their menu takes like home made. Absolutely delicious food run by a great family.

Finally made it here! Take out was a wait for 30 minutes but actually took closer to 45. Prices were reasonable and flavor wasn't too bad. I got the pad Thai which was a bit sweet but otherwise not too bad. I couldn't taste the other flavors other than just sweet. Same with the pad see ew... I don't think I'll come back but if you don't have any other good Thai spots nearby it's not a bad place to check out! Definitely a Miami 4 star but a 3 star anywhere else. read more

The food here is so fresh and flavorful! Best Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup I've ever had.

Sooo good! Highly recommend it I'll definitely order from again! Delicious food and great prices!

We were in the mood for something Asia, so decided to go for Thai/Sushi. I was a little let down as we walked in. The walls were a darkish gold with several large splotches of white plaster. Ok, the Elephant is kind of small with not much atmosphere. There was good Asian music playing for some ambiance, and the slew of takeout orders waiting for pickup was a good sign. I ordered cashew chicken. My daughter's been to Thailand and wanted one of her favorite dishes, basil chicken. Our waitress was beyond sweet and nice, and made our visit very nice. Our portions were large. My chicken was pretty good, but I wish I'd ordered the basil chicken because it was spectacular. I can't wait til we go back so I can get my own plateful. read more

I used to come here a lot, before it became the Blue Elephant. I think it's the same business but purchased by another owner? Anyways, I'm a fan of their chicken pad Thai and I loved it. I wish they had added Spicey sauce packets or at least made spicey level an option at checkout. I don't remember seeing that. read more

This place is great, especially for lunch, for about $10 you get an entree, soup, and salad (get the peanut dressing it's really good) But it's not a stingy lunch deal it's really awesome that if you eat it all you should be satisfied not to mention this is really good Thai. I got the red curry and my gf got the basil sauce with pork. Both were delicious. The soup varies but today they had something with chix, cilantro, green onions and wontons which was simple fresh and perfect. The place is small but cute and the staff Is super sweet, when you walk in you can see the chef working, just a really great experience. Great food and service and super fair prices especially for lunch. This place used to be east Thai noodle but it's completely different now. You should give them a try. read more

At first glance, you might miss this practically unmarked gem. You walk in to a tiny space, few tables with nothing on them. We were seated immediately by the nicest server. She made some suggestions. 1. The golden dragon roll was delicious! It's a cooked sushi roll, which is not my favorite, but it was great. 2. Pad Thai: delicious, not dry at all, sweet, so tasty. I'm not a pad Thai fan because it usually has peanuts. 3. Chicken Fried rice: so good! I ordered it without tomatoes. My daughter loved it. 4. Grilled pork: omg amazing! Sweet and tangy, perfectly cooked. 5. Ginger beef: it was good, not my favorite. Portions were generous and best of all, it was not expensive! I would visit again. read more

Awful place . I was charged on Uber eat and the food was never deliveried. I called this a stealing in your face . For $167 I never got the food and I went straight to the restaurant ( which is a dirty hall) and asked for my food . They claim that the food was trashed , and I was charged for it . Not to mentioned that it took 1:30 hrs and kept changing the time . The worst experience I had since ordering at Uber eat . I was told because I canceled directly with the restaurant that I have to paid for it . So no food ,paid the money and they never from either site make a solution read more

Tucked away in the middle of it's shopping center, you'll find this diamond of a family owned restaurant. As Yelpers, we trust the reviews of others. So when my friend and I sat down, we knew we would walk out knowing whatever we ate was going to be "worth it"....and that's absolutely how we felt. If you're one who frequently orders Pad Thai when you visit Thai restaurants, try their Pad Si-Ew with your preferred choice of protein. I opted for the fried tofu and it was perfection. Looking to get sushi? My friend was torn between the Volcano Roll and the Golden Dragon, but she went ahead and got the Volcano Roll. She was happy with her choice and she added a side of avocado because why not? The staff was very friendly and attentive. It is a small establishment, with seating for about 20....but it's totally worth it. read more

Update from my last post: This has to be the best Thai restaurant in town with respect to the quality of their food. If you are looking for authentic Thai curry you've come to the right place. We visited Thailand a few months back and can say that the food here is on par if not better than some of the restaurants we went to. Their Panang and Massamon curry is AMAZING and their tuna tartare is 2nd to none. We order for pick all the time and it still maintains its great taste. read more

Covid in Miami has limited indoor dining so I came across this gem through Uber eats. This place did NOT disappoint. Everything we had was great. We ordered a few appetizers, steamed shrimp shumai, steamed dumplings and vegetable spring rolls. We liked all of it. The sauce the dumplings brings is tangy but so good. Our entrees were beef fried rice and beef pad see ew. Such great flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The friend rice was great. Tasted amazing. Couldn't stop eating lol they provide generous portions as well. This restaurant is great, I can't wait to try the grilled pork on their menu but it was sold out. Must try!!! read more

Blue Elephant is my go-to pad thai spot! I love small, family-run hole-in-the-walls, and that's exactly what Blue Elephant is. It's tiny and cozy. No frills. I used to come to this place when it was formerly another Thai restaurant, and I'm really happy that Blue Elephant has continued to serve amazing Thai food. I usually have the chicken pad thai, medium spicy, and I usually order it for pickup, although I have had it a couple of times at the restaurant itself. Whenever I walk in, I am always welcomed with a smile, and a very warm, friendly greeting; it's that warm, family feeling that makes this place special. The chicken pad thai is great! Very flavorful! A decent-sized portion, lots of chicken, just the right amount of spice asked for. I constantly find myself craving pad thai from Blue Elephant; it's great! Blue Elephant is a unique Westchester gem. read more

I went in with a group of four on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty. The server was extremely attentive. It appears they receive tons of to go orders so the food took longer than expected but it was worth the wait. They have the best tuna tartare in all Miami, hands down. Fairly priced. Sorry for the lack of photos, we were in a hurry and quite hangry. Definitely worth going back. read more
