I've ordered from here via Uber Eats several times now. I've had their massamon curry, panang curry and the drunken noodles all with medium spice level. I asked for chicken to be added to each dish. I also had extra potatoes added to the curries. All three of the dishes I've tried have been amazing. The massamon curry is the perfect comfort food; it has the perfect blend of warm spices and is creamy and delicious. The panang curry is rich and flavorful and bold on the tongue. It has a tiny bit of zest, which I believe is from lemongrass. Just as delicious as the massamon. Ordered take out of the volcano roll and drunken noodle but the items were unusually greasy. I've never had greasy sushi so this was a disappointment. I ended up scraping off the topping for the volcano roll because it was way too mushy and oily. Kon Chau was packed and Blue Elephant wasn't. That's how Mar H. and I ended up there. I had had Blue Elephant bookmarked for ages, but hey, when you have thousands of bookmarks, it's very easy to forget about a place. I have to say this is one that shouldn't be forgotten. This has been the best sushi I have had in Miami period. Everything is so ridiculously fresh. It's as if they just caught it from the sea. I had a dragon roll. My friend had a snow crab roll. We each took a bite of each other's roll. Have to say this is the first time ever I remember actually liking crab. Then again, it wasn't that imitation nonsense they usually give you that is cavity inducing. Each roll was around $12 or so and it was a heavy portion. Note, though, the location is small and it shares its parking lot with many other businesses. You shouldn't have an issue being attended though as it seems to be the new kid on the block. That and the majority of orders were take-out ones. I really hope this restaurant continues to get business as it's exquisite and I don't want it to close. That and if I feel this way about the sushi, I can't wait to go back and try the Thai portion of the menu. read more

We were in the mood for something Asia, so decided to go for Thai/Sushi. I was a little let down as we walked in. The walls were a darkish gold with several large splotches of white plaster. Ok, the Elephant is kind of small with not much atmosphere. There was good Asian music playing for some ambiance, and the slew of takeout orders waiting for pickup was a good sign. I ordered cashew chicken. My daughter's been to Thailand and wanted one of her favorite dishes, basil chicken. Our waitress was beyond sweet and nice, and made our visit very nice. Awful place . I was charged on Uber eat and the food was never deliveried. I called this a stealing in your face . For $167 I never got the food and I went straight to the restaurant ( which is a dirty hall) and asked for my food . They claim that the food was trashed , and I was charged for it . Not to mentioned that it took 1:30 hrs and kept changing the time . The worst experience I had since ordering at Uber eat . This place is great, especially for lunch, for about $10 you get an entree, soup, and salad (get the peanut dressing it's really good) But it's not a stingy lunch deal it's really awesome that if you eat it all you should be satisfied not to mention this is really good Thai. I got the red curry and my gf got the basil sauce with pork. Both were delicious. The soup varies but today they had something with chix, cilantro, green onions and wontons which was simple fresh and perfect. The place is small but cute and the staff Is super sweet, when you walk in you can see the chef working, just a really great experience. She made some suggestions. 1. The golden dragon roll was delicious! It's a cooked sushi roll, which is not my favorite, but it was great. 2. Pad Thai: delicious, not dry at all, sweet, so tasty. Covid in Miami has limited indoor dining so I came across this gem through Uber eats. This place did NOT disappoint. Everything we had was great. We ordered a few appetizers, steamed shrimp shumai, steamed dumplings and vegetable spring rolls. We liked all of it. The sauce the dumplings brings is tangy but so good. Our entrees were beef fried rice and beef pad see ew. Such great flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The friend rice was great. Tasted amazing. I used to come to this place when it was formerly another Thai restaurant, and I'm really happy that Blue Elephant has continued to serve amazing Thai food. I usually have the chicken pad thai, medium spicy, and I usually order it for pickup, although I have had it a couple of times at the restaurant itself. Love this place. When I lived close by I used to order from them I believe they were formally known as Thai something... anyways... I was in the neighborhood visiting the Chinese supermarket a few stores down and thought I should pay blue elephant a visit. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. Their Thai food is very authentic and I love how they make their pad see eww and pad ke mao with the original flat rice noodles which a lot of restaurants around the area don't do. I had the pad ke mao medium spicy and it was perfectly made. As well as the pad see eww medium spicy and again perfectly made. I love a good Thai restaurant, and this is a good Thai restaurant.
