My wife and I have been using Miss Mac for at least 10 years. She is absolutely the best, do not even try to go anywhere else. She doesn't do physical repair (cracked screens etc.) she has a guy for that in Novato. What she is brilliant at, is figuring out weird stuff that's going on deep in the bowels of you computer. I just took my 6 month old MacBook Air in for some malware clean up, and she discovered some strange thing going on with Dropbox and my desktop. I won't even try and explain because I don't really understand what was happening, I just know I had a problem, but she figured it out and fixed it in 2 hours. Oh, no. My Mac wouldn't start up. The bar under the apple wouldn't move. Called Miss Mac she had me run diagnostics and it said my hard drive was kaput (the technical Apple term). Dropped off my computer to her, panicking because I had 5 years of financial data on it. Using her magic she found that and then spent another day and got everything from the old computer. She then installed it on a newer and better mac and upgraded some of my old apps. Got it home and it ran like nothing had happened. And, I would have charged me a lot more than she did for what I got. She should change her name to "Miss Miracles". read more

This was my first visit with Miss Mac. She is professional, warm, friendly, experienced and amazingly helpful. She means it when she says, 'There are no silly questions'. It was a delightful two hours and my computer is running great. I do not have an in-depth knowledge about computers and she educated me as she fixed all the little things I needed. Before our appointment she asked me to write down my questions and she answered them all. She printed out the instructions of what she did and what she added. The Apple store could only extract my hard drive, but couldn't promise that any data could be saved. Miss Mac is that welcome mix of true professionalism and warm, friendly presence, which is exactly what you want when someone is in your home working on something that's essential to your life but not completely understood. My iMac had been compromised in several different ways for a while and needed an upgrade, as well. How I dreaded having an expensive stranger at my own desk talking down to me about all the ways I had "messed up" my computer. I was finally desperate, though, so I called Miss Mac after reading Yelp reviews. Within 5 minutes of meeting her, I knew that Miss Mac was exactly the expert for me. Her rate is utterly reasonable, and she calmly made everything we discussed about the myriad problems and solutions seem like team decisions. And she is so fast! I took my 2008 Macbook to Miss Mac after the hard drive crashed and insisted I wanted to keep this computer and didn't want to by a new one. I dropped off my computer and back up and Miss Mac replaced the hard drive, cleaned up 8 years of garbage and gave me back a rocket for a very reasonable price. All in less then a week over Thanksgiving. I highly recommend Miss Mac for any computer issues. read more

Wow! No foolin'. This is the Real Deal! Extraordinarily knowledgeable. Absolutely current, and ahead of the curve, she knew how to address my issues and resolve them; elegantly efficient and with dazzling competence. I've always hesitated having a stranger come in to mess with my treasured machine, but she was a wonderful surprise -- easy to talk with, never condescending, and always on point. It might take some time to get on her dance card. She's pretty busy, but she's definitely worth the wait. Our only downside: Miss Mac doesn't touch PCs, great with me, but not so great for my wife, who is strictly windows. (Almost grounds for divorce.) read more

I used to use her service until she couldn't figure out what was wrong with my Mac. She spent the entire visit on the phone consulting with Comcast, left my Mac in the same condition and charged me about $150. I use Christian Harnish now. He's a pro who really knows his stuff, and has the most up to date equipment. He spent an hour at my home, cleaned everything up and still had time to show me some new tricks, and he only charged me $60!!! He has good energy and I feel comfortable with him and that's important. I've referred my friends to him, and they all love him! read more

She responded immediately and was not only sympathetic, she was very helpful and BEYOND generous with her time. Then I called her again when I couldn't get my new computer to work. Same response.
