I've ordered from this place in the morning, I've ordered from this place almost before they close, and it's like every single time the mangu's perfect! the food taste amazing! I am literally having this conversation with my friend on the phone right now after ordering it last night. Ordered from here for the first time off of Grubhub. My husband ordered their lasagna and 2 empanadas de carne y queso and I ordered the Dominican hot dog and one empanada de camarones and one of crab meat. Everything was disgusting. The lasagna was sloppy and had no flavor, all of the empanadas were practically empty and seemed refríed. The shrimp in the shrimp empanada were black and smelled funny. I ordered 2 Dominican hotdogs for pickup on Ubereats. When I arrived, I decided to order an empanada. I waited about 5 minutes before any of the workers acknowledged my presence with a greeting. I saw they were busy packing meals and such, so I didn't make a big deal. One of the women finally comes up and asks me what I needed and I asked for a beef empanada. She doesn't say anything and walks away before I even have the chance to tell her that I'm also picking up an order, and she goes back to packing delivery/pickup orders. I wait another 3 minutes (yes, I was timing everything) before she comes back and packs my beef empanada. I then inform her that I'm also picking up 2 hotdogs ordered on Ubereats. The woman at the front informed the workers in the back that I was there for the hotdog order and a woman in the back yelled back "well she's going to have to wait. I still have 2 minutes left in that order anyway". Mind you, I wasn't rushing them or being rude or making faces not huffing or puffing... none of that. My energy was calm. Yet I had to wait another 6 minutes to get my complete order and pay for the empanada. Had it not been that I already paid for the pickup order, I would've left after that lady in the back yelled back so rudely. Now for the food review. I enjoyed the beef empanada. The beef was well seasoned and it tasted fresh. I did not enjoy the hot dog. The hotdog was thin as a pencil and shriveled up dry. The ground beef on top looked and tasted dry and old. Even the bread tasted old. Won't be giving them a second chance simply because customer service is important to me and they lack good customer service. On the menu it states pork-chops with tostones, when I received my order what I received was not pork-chops it looked more like cow chunks of meat.
