Absolutely will be back. We did the day pass and it was exquisite. Well worth the money. We are already planning to come back. Every stop of the experience was curated from entry, the breakfast offerings were fresh and so was lunch (the steak was ) My only complaint is that there were many flies outside while dining so we moved inside. Other than that, cannot complain and we are planning to come back and stay for the weekend.

We go to Miraval with day passes a few times a year and we always have an amazing and relaxing experience. Their staff is well trained and prioritize customer service. There's incredible variety, the food is fantastic (though I do think your baristas at the coffee bar need some better training on making coffee beverages!), and the wellness offerings are vast. During our visit last week I attended a workshop led by Stacy Schneider on communication and connection. Her opening line was worth the cost of the day pass alone. Her seminar gave me so much access to what's next in my marriage and friendships for connection and love. I wish I was able to download her brain and use it to reference daily. Unlike many of Miraval's other offerings, Stacy was a visiting scholar and only there for the week, but I definitely recommend looking at who will be visiting during your stay and scheduling their sessions in advance! Day passes are a 10/10. Looking forward to our first overnight stay in November! I think it's going to be great!

Another fantastic day at this first class resort property located fairly close to downtown Austin, yet a world away. The food is always delicious, great variety, very cozy indoor dining area and a fantastic patio, weather permitting. Farm to table fresh ingredients at each meal. I was greeted by Karen and Meg (see photo) who were obviously enjoying their day and provided a wonderful, welcoming introduction. Misty, the restaurant host seated me with a smile at breakfast and lunch. Priscilla led a very introspective and meaningful guided meditation class. I enjoyed relaxing in the quiet room on two separate occasions where I had a delicious mint tea and read a book. The bee experience with Ed, so interesting, engaging, and knowledgeable, was phenomenal. Really! A must do if you're looking for something a bit different, really interesting, and fun! Best on property gift shop anywhere! Thanks Karin (see photo). Erin and Jackie (see photo) had great energy at the (really inviting spa). Nancy gave me a great late afternoon massage of my feet, hands, and head. Coffee and an energizing juice shot were tasty. Thanks V (see photo). Dinner? Wow! Thanks Cassidy for the great wine commentary and perfectly paired wines to go with a memorable, delicious Thanksgiving dinner created by executive chef Ben. Taste sensations at every course! I keep coming back to Miraval despite my extensive travels elsewhere because every visit equals or exceeds the last visit. Fantastic escape from day-to-day living, friendly people, beautiful property, and tasty food. Just go ...

Variety of activities ranging from cardio classes to yoga to zen activities (such as lavender meditation) to honey tasting, there is something for everyone. Or spend time at the spa to get a massage, sit near the fire pit or sweat it out in an eucalyptus sauna or gaze out from the infinity pool. Food options are fantastic, menus rotate every 3-4 days. The mini flourless chocolate cake was my favorite dessert which I indulged in at least 3-4 of them a day & then tried to sweat out the calories in the sauna. The creme brulee on the dinner menu is made with honey from the property & was delicious as well, don't skip it since its not offered all the time! 4 stars since lunchtime service was inconsistent.

Was surprised with a day pass here and had a fantastic time. The vibe was high and the energy was really nice. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, very zen. I started the day with one of the equestrian activities where you bond with the horses and groom them and walk around with them. It was very healing. I love how the activities all have a purpose and they allow you to reflect as a group on the experience. They are all intimate too which was nice. There were about 5 or 6 people in the group. I tried two of the smoothies and both were yummy. I also enjoyed the buffet style lunch. The tuna salad and lemon chicken were both delicious. Everything tasted very fresh. I had a 50 minute relaxation massage with April which was fantastic. The massage tables are extremely comfortable, I wanted to take a nap on it! We did the 45 ft leap of faith which was super fun and rewarding. The gentlemen running the activity were fantastic and they didn't pressure anyone into doing something they weren't comfortable. It was about each persons unique experience and journey. It was very nice. I enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and the infinity pool was gorgeous. I took a self guided hike around the property and it was beautiful. Everything is surrounded with trees in nature. Hammocks are spread around the property if you need a rest. The staff were all very exceptionally kind. So that was refreshing to see too. I am looking forward to trying the Arizona location next!!

My first stay at a Miraval resort and it was a fantastic, unforgettable experience! You can book activities during your stay (please make sure to book early, like 2 months out, because many of the popular ones book up fast!). My favorite activities were the cardio drumming, samba, cypress creek farm visit (got to meet hundreds of chickens and see how they collect the chicken eggs), and the tex zen yoga class in the beautiful yoga barn at sunset. You get a $175 resort credit per person per night during your stay. If you want to book a massage, most likely you'll end up paying a little more out of pocket because their standard 1 hour massages are approximately $200+ per person. The food was delicious every night, and the best part is that they focus on utilizing healthy, nutritious ingredients. I loved the little coffee shop that they have next to the restaurant where you can order unlimited smoothies and coffee drinks from throughout the day. Definitely would come back here for a special occasion. I look forward to checking out the other two Miraval locations in Tucson and the Berkshires as well!

The property was very beautiful and serene. The spa service was absolutely wonderful - felt pampered by the staff there at every step of the way. Had a great time and learned so much on the Nature Walk with Sunshine as well from Sam who is in charge of the culinary classes. There is a lot of potential here but at the same time the devil is in the details - Beds are very uncomfortable. I felt like I was sinking in it (I am of average height 5'2" and average build 130 pounds) The cubby in the closet area was exposed (with black chips) as well as the bathroom door - some fresh layers of paint would do wonders. Hair was not removed from shower drains. This is low effort maintenance expected of an upscale wellness resort. Also, I wanted express my disappointment that my experienced planner had misinterpreted my shuttle needs. In my email, I only said that I did not need shuttle service today going from the airport to Miraval. Somehow, the day of departure I was informed that my email was interpreted that I did not need shuttle service period. The arrival center at first pushed back and said unfortunately there was nothing they could do and I commented that is unacceptable and showed them my actual email that I never said anything about not needing outbound shutting service. Eventually, an Uber was called for me but under the guise that it was a 'shuttle'. While I am appreciative that Miraval made it right, it is okay to acknowledge that there was a mixup. But in the end it appears that optics were more important and they maintained that my Uber was the 'shuttle'. I had reached out prior to confirm if the Peloton was Delta or SPD cleats. The planner confirmed it was Delta cleats so I brought my Delta pair of shoes. However, the bike is actually fitted with SPD cleats. I was very disappointed to say the least that I wasn't able to execute rides as planned. The bike itself was also filthy - there were no disinfectant wipes left in both dispensers. I tried to improvise and attempted to squeeze from the Purell dispenser into a paper towel but those were empty as well. Do better Miraval, this is low hanging fruit. Budget hotels in Vegas have better standards.

This caused my booking to be cancelled and I had to rebook and reverify. VERY inconvenient but everything got worked out. When you pay $900+ per night you don't want to be inconvenienced while trying to book. The Reserve is a nice community, but like all managed "premier planned" suburban areas they are very Nazi-ish with rules and enforcement. Again, when you're paying over $900 per night it's very off-putting and insulting to constantly be reminded of the rules. They treat you like you're a college kid trying to sneak and throw a frat party while you're parents are away for the weekend. Our rental even had cameras on the house that were actively being monitored (details below). VALUE: I don't normally complain about price so I won't do it here. Let's just say that this place is expensive. I voluntarily paid the money but it's a high price. HOUSE: Nice place, very clean. Premium decor - Texas modern rustic. Complimentary prosecco in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch. Bring your own food/drinks/condiments (salt, pepper, etc.)/ice. All utensils for just about any kind of cooking and everything needed to have nice dinner parties were there. We had an issue with POOL: I did a cabana rental for 2 days at $50 per day. Rentals include a complimentary pitcher of beer or margarita per day. Pool was nice and in good shape. Lazy river, kids pool and infinity pool as well as swim up bar and snack bar are all part of the pool. You aren't allowed to bring any alcoholic beverages, food, or coolers into the pool area. They did allow us to bring an individual cup or water bottle. They will search your bags for food/alchohol/etc. if you bring large bags. LOCATION: Be prepared to drive 40 minutes to anywhere. There's enough restaurants, entertainment, etc. 45 minutes away. All-in-all this was a good place to stay. The main reason this is not a 5-Star review is because I was contacted by TurnKey with a threatening call because the management/owner were watching us on the Arlo/Netgear camera (Nazi-ish) on the back patio (there's a camera on the front porch and back patio) and thought that one of my guests was on the back patio smoking. None of us are smokers and it was insulting for them to accuse us of smoking (I'll say it again for emphasis... when you're paying over $900 per night).

My cousin and his family have a membership here and they invited us to come out for the day. When you are driving out there it feels like it is kind of in the middle of nowhere and then all of a sudden this paradise appears. We spent time at the marina. This was the nicest marina I have seen in the Austin area for sure! I could tell everything is taken care of with the utmost care possible. The marina is treated somehow as well so that the cobwebs and spiders don't take over your boat and slip area, which is super nice and convenient. There is also room for outdoor kitchens and patio furniture at the front of each slip. People have grills and stuff out there too. I gathered that it is a thing to just hang out at your slip area and cook out with your friends and family and you may or may not even take the boat out. After we took the boat out and came back in we road the golf cart up to the lazy river. This is where it really started to feel like a resort for me. They have a decent sized lazy river that is so much fun! There is a swim up bar on one side and the bar opens to the deck area on the other side. There are plenty of tables to sit at and chase lounge chairs in the sun and shaded for total comfort and relaxing. I had a few perfectly made margaritas from the bar and had a wonderful time hanging out with my family and floating the lazy river! The Reserve property is actually pretty huge! They also have cabins you can rent out, tennis courts and a park area. There is lots of places to hike around as well. This would be the perfect family get away spot and it is not too far from other cool outdoor things like Krause Springs, Hamilton Pool Park and of course Lake Travis!

We thoroughly enjoyed each of these features and spent 3-4 hours total just relaxing and enjoying our time. - I appreciated that they had interesting and unique touches such as the adult coloring books in the relaxation lounge. What could've been better: - The facial service was very basic and frankly mediocre. For the amount we paid, I expected more of a facial massage and extraction. This was disappointing. - We were to receive a complimentary glass of wine each with our booking. They helped us choose the perfect villa for our family and gave us tons of info before we left for Mexico. When we got there Kristalle was fantastic - always available to call / text if we needed anything. She even made us welcome margaritas that were ready and chilling in the fridge when we arrived - a very nice bonus after travelling with a 9 month old baby! We had a few minor issues with the property's management company but as soon as I let Kristalle know about it she made sure it was all smoothed over and we were left in peace to enjoy our holiday. She is very knowledgable of the area and is happy to organise any activities you may want to partake in. They honestly made our stay so much easier and more relaxing - I'd just send a text saying we'd like to paddle board and bam! They were delivered to our door the next day. I would highly recommend using CMV and would definitely use them again.
