What great weekend we had in the Lena Ger! The Hill country was beautiful our views were incredible. The Yurt had everything we needed, We made all of our meals in Lena Ger kitchen. Loved the Fire pit and Hot Tub!

Inside the yurts; you'll get the best nights sleep...ever!

Absolutely the BEST glamping experience in Texas! Nestled in the heart of Hill Country, each yurt offers stunning views of the surrounding terrain, especially from the observation deck! The Yurtopian owners have remembered every stunning detail, including a private hot tub, bathroom (with shower), kitchenette and gas fire pit on each property. The yurts themselves are climate controlled and are outfitted with a comfy king-sized bed and quaint, romantic decor! Nearby trails offer quiet, private hikes to the nearby steam; you'll want to read or rest for hours in the hammock too! If you can peel yourself away from this little oasis, check out the local wineries and olive farms...delicious souvenirs to take home. Prices for the Yurtopian experience can be a bit steep, but 100% worth it!! Or consider going on a weekday for more affordable rates!

This place is AMAZING!!!! It's a hidden gem, I had no idea it was so close to San Antonio. Definitely worth the wait because reservations for the weekends fill up QUICK!!! So, book early and wait patiently. I will say that I wish I would have made a reservation for Jacob's Well at the same time. I was kind of bummed that I did my research late and all of the reservations were booked for the water hole. Oh well, I definitely want to make this an annual trip so I will check the well out next visit. Ok, so upon gated entry the entrance is a little narrow to the Yurt so we backed our vehicle in for ease. When we walked up the door was open and my jaw dropped on how beautiful the set up was. Everything was open and peaceful. The bathroom was open along with the grill/kitchen. They have essentials like a mini fridge, coffee pot, gas grill with some utensils but you will need to bring an ice chest if you choose to bring a lot of food. On the main level there is a gas fire pit and a plunge pool that has a heating option for the evening. Longer picnic table and chairs available for hanging out. The Yurt is absolutely beautiful. The handwork that goes into it is impeccable. The bed is super comfy and you just sink into it when you lay down. Towels are provided and are soft, there is a desk located inside the yurt and an air conditioner to keep those summer days nice and cool. On the upper deck the views are absolutely breath taking. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. Hammock provided along with a wicker love seat. This was our spot every evening to watch the sunset and the stars come out. The winding stair case will take you back to the main level where you can get the fire pit started to enjoy some quality time. A tv is mounted on the wall and has Netflix available and is perfect for a night in the heated plunge pool while watching a movie. Yurtopia is peaceful and a perfect place to take a break and catch up on some much needed personal time. The city is small and quaint. There is an H‑E‑B available not too far to pick up any items that may have been forgotten. There are a couple of restaurants available too in case you don't feel like grilling/cooking every night! Coffee and wine cups provided for use as well. I cannot wait until our visit next year, this place is definitely repeat worthy!!!

Totally cool experience! The weather was just delightful, too. This was the most stress free camping I've done. The property is peaceful and beautiful. We saw several different kinds of birds and the stars at night really are big and bright...in the hill country :) We will remember to bring some games next time and a flashlight is recommended for walking trails at night. There is an EV charger on the property, which they let us use. We can't wait to return.

We stayed at Greta Ger over the holiday weekend. We booked it in January to be sure there was availability. The yurt and amenities were nice. This yurt has two bridges that you have to walk through and the path is a nice walk making you feel alone in the hills. It is a short drive to the square and other areas well known in Wimberley. Everything was as shown, but there were a couple of pieces of wood that were lifted and the plunge pool also doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly as there was sand at the bottom. There are trees behind the upper deck so you aren't able to see the sunset from there which was a huge bummer. You could probably catch the sunrise, but we aren't early risers. It was really nice to see the stars at night from the deck though! We enjoyed being outdoors and in nature during our stay. The area and grounds are amazing. The yurt is tucked away so you never see anyone around. There isn't a full sized fridge, but all of our items were able to fit nicely with room which was a plus! This is a place I would recommend staying in at least once.

These days were wonderful, when we entered we were greatly surprised, everything was beautiful, very clean, every detail of the unique place, an enchanted forest. We would definitely return, 100% recommended. Roberto & Sadia Jaimes

Texas getaway done right! Yurtopia has created such a cozy little nook surrounded by beautiful Texas wildlife. I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a sunset, or ever enjoyed my morning cup of coffee more. The mornings on the rooftop deck truly enticed such a spiritual awakening, and a reminder to slow down and take it all in. We have everything we need to just stay in and enjoy the peacefulness, beauty, and each other's company. Some things to know- there is wildlife, that's expected-this is their home. Seen a few Foxes, a BUNCH of spiders. One thing I would recommend for Yurtopia is a Nespresso, or Keurig. People that Glamp, probably want coffee options. It would be a nice touch. But not a game changer. There is a coffee maker though.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Yurtopian. I have been waiting years to reserve a weekend here. Finally took the plunge and stayed two nights in the beautiful Cara Ger Yurt. It was everything I imagined and more. The yurt is beautiful. The jet pool and rooftop hammock were the areas I spent most of my time. I didn't want to leaveeee. The spa services were also awesome. Never felt so relaxed. My husband and I highly, highly, recommend staying at this resort. We will come back with friends next time and try out the river area. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend under the stars.

Words can't even describe how amazing this experience was. The beauty this place holds is insane. It is so fun, so relaxing, and one of my favorite experiences ever. The yurt was cozy with the softest pillows and sheets I have ever felt. The entire place was sparkly clean. The kitchen had all the tools you could need- and they gifted us complimentary Prosecco! The bathroom is so clean and awesome, I LOVED THE HOT TUB, and it's so cool that you can watch tv while in the tub. The fireplace was amazing at night, and the view up on the deck left me speechless. I loved laying in the hammock too...the entire check in and check out process was easy as pie, and any interactions online and through writing with the owners were so kind. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone! Make sure to get a remote yurt, they are so private and so awesome!

Thank you Brian & Ann-Tyler for the Yurtopia concept and its execution! You guys have put an incredible amount of energy and thought into the venture and it shows in all the details. The yurt was so comfortable and the surrounding 'campground' so well-appointed that relaxation was guaranteed. Our afternoon/evening ritual: nap, cards with happy hour, grilled dinner, spa, fire with dessert. We went home relaxed and revitalized... The yurt is a very comfortable space - lots of space, excellent bed, good A/C and heat. Sheets and towels excellent quality, everything very clean. The furniture throughout our 'campground' was top quality - the dining chairs, the chairs around the fire pit, the love seat up on the top deck, all very comfortable. We stayed three nights, so needed a supplemental cooler for our meals. Keep it in the yurt to avoid night time visitors of the four legged variety, and make sure to bring lots of ice. Photos show the mini-frig, which is very handy but doesn't have much of a freezer. Otherwise the kitchen is very functional. We've included additional kitchen photos to help with planning. Communication with Ann-Tyler was excellent before, during, and after our visit. The WiFi was excellent throughout our visit. Top notch experience, highly recommended! The Beard's Houston, Texas

How can I even find words to describe- Yurtopia!! That is perfect! Staying here was cozy, comfortable, relaxing, beautiful and we didn't even have great weather! I cannot wait to stay here again, and am so sad to have to leave! What a unique experience and absolutely stunning hospitality, every need is thought of and prepared for. Thank Yurtopia!!

Everything was clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, and there were plenty of fun activities for all ages. We also appreciated how convenient the location was--close enough to shops in case we needed to grab anything we forgot. A very special shoutout to the Recreation & Activities Supervisor, Kim Wertens! She was amazing--so patient, resourceful, and truly went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 90 people. She worked with our preplanned schedule and helped keep all the kids entertained, which made a huge difference for everyone. We would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family and would love to come back again!

We booked a treehouse cabin and immediately noticed standing water around the cabin, including the fire pit. The area was clearly saturated, unlike neighboring cabins, which suggests a water leak nearby. The cabin itself was as expected, though the top bunk wasn't made. The TV wasn't connected to the internet or streaming apps, and the guest Wi-Fi signal was poor. We tried troubleshooting ourselves and called for support, but no one came until much later, and even then, it wasn't fully fixed. Accessing streaming services required using a personal account, which shouldn't have been necessary. Food and beverage were another disappointment. The filling station ran out of pizza and many other products, including bottled water. The staff said they might restock, but several guests left in frustration. When we ordered, mozzarella sticks arrived with no sauce, and soda refills weren't available, even though these are basic amenities. Coffee stands were inconsistently managed--cups weren't provided for free coffee unless you bought a souvenir cup, and then the free coffee suddenly wasn't free at all. Even higher-up food stands were closed during the day, limiting convenient options. The pool and water slides were closed due to a heater issue, which was frustrating since we planned to use them. We did make the most of the other attractions, including the zipline, which was exhilarating, though my leg strap came undone halfway down--over 100 feet off the ground. The staff at the bottom checked in on me several times, which was appreciated, but it was still a scary moment. We tried multiple times to get the TV issue addressed. Eventually, a tech came by, but the problem remained. The network setup seemed unnecessarily complicated, with one TV hardwired and still not functioning properly. We were offered a discount or a new cabin for the inconvenience, and we moved for the evening to have our own bathroom, but the experience felt like a series of small failures stacked together. Overall, it was extremely frustrating dealing with product shortages, inconsistent service, and amenities not functioning during peak spring break. Standing water, incomplete cabin preparation, unreliable Wi-Fi and TV, food shortages, and closed pools made the experience more stressful than relaxing. We might return in the future, but it's not a high priority compared to local alternatives that offer reliable service and amenities. Also, $10 for a 42-second ride clip seems excessive and felt like a cash grab.

We arrived and at the front gate while we were signing a release form I asked if we could go in and out and they said yes. We proceeded to the next gate and the woman that let us through said something about bands having to park and walk their stuff in. We laughed it off and said we had a lot of gear and all the cars with us had band people in it. Later that evening it turns out that the woman at the 2nd gate had started taking driver's licenses with no explanation. We left the next morning and on our way out we asked if we would be able to get back in and were told yes. When my boyfriend went back a few hours later he was told that he would have to pay $20 to get back in or leave a credit card or cell phone. Excuse me??? Of course he said no and drove on through. If you allow a 3 day music festival to happen on your campground you should realize that there *will* be a lot of cars. A big majority of these cars will have band and and lots of music equipment in them. You seriously cannot expect them to park and walk with their equipment, that is really just absurd. Also, it is a bad business decision to try and start charging people to enter the campground (after they've already been in and spent the night) in mid-festival so to speak. Did you really think you were going to be able to make us pay to get in an retrieve our things? (This person was so bad that the musicians were calling other friends/musicians and warning them ahead of time about this person.) I realize this is private property but just because it is does not mean you can change the rules in mid-stream. I would not recommend this place for anything other than camping. Do the Flipside goers get this same kind of treatment? I hope not, and I hope no one puts up with it. **EDIT** Ok, so I've heard that it was only 1 chick at the campground that was demanding money and credit cards. The other ladies *did* in fact help people out with gas money to get home so a big thank you to those ladies. This 1 person at the gate really put a bad taste in lots of people's mouths. The campground itself was nice so I'll have to say that I'd give this place another chance.
