    If you're needing some quiet time and enjoy the terrain and vibe of the hill country in Texas, this is a well thought out business. The cabins sit on a great lookout ridge, and has trails and private little lounging areas all over the property. The Yoku Cabin is simple in a good way, elegant and modern with a tinge of rustic charm. The bed faces 2 doors that are MASSIVE. About 12 feet tall and 10 feet wide, and they open completely up. So you're essentially enjoying the comfort of a nice hotel cabin, while you look directly outside a sprawling hilltop view of all the big valleys and hills. Directly above you is a solid glass ceiling, I wouldn't even call it a skylight because it's 1/3 of the entire ceiling. The patio and deck is big enough ought to accommodate 20 people , though it is just 2 of us. They have a built in electric Blackstone grille with the iron works that wrap around the big deck. In center of the deck there's a perfect sized dipping pool. It's a bit nippy now but I'll be using it in the morning as a wake up. Walk in shower is a very generous size, and the kitchenette is just what we needed to grill our steaks and prep our sides. Counter tops made of concrete and a big mantle. The whole cabin has under lights in smart spots , including the shower which is a very clever touch for that kind of ambience that makes me feel that A.S.M.R. buzz. One of the trails leads down to two highland cows that are adorable and eagerly waiting for their treats. There's a container of sweet feed pellets to hand them and that was an adorable experience. The male is a tank but he's sweet, just don't put your hands anywhere that he can smush them with his huge head. He likes to kinda head-bang gently when you touch him but he is massive, handler beware. We got to pet the little resident farm cat too, a tuxie girl with a gorgeous coat and fluffy feet's. She purrs loud and let us pet her a while. Careful! She's wandering around the compound This is a well thought out little getaway, far enough to feel that you're in the sticks it close enough to go get supplies from HEB and so on. Highly recommend giving this a shot if you're used to the hum drum bed and breakfast type experience. This seems meant more for a city detox and back to nature experience and we love it. We've only been here a half day and already love it. Tomorrow we will go check out the look-out trail that has a pinnacle spot for a vista that's as far as the eye can see. We will look forward to a return again and highly recommend.

    I'm currently sitting on the deck with a breathtaking view, as the sun rises and having my delicious drip coffee while birds chirp in the background. I haven't had this sort of peaceful moment in a very long time! What an amazing and beautiful and truly astonishing experience we have had here at the Missing Hotel! I am obsessed with every detail inside and out. Not to mention it was the best mattress I've ever slept on! I am so excited to tell all my family and friends back in Dallas about this wonderful gem of a place! 1000% recommend and can't wait to come back

    What a nice and relaxing date place. It's a place to truly UNPLUG. The hot tub was a game changer for the unit we were in. Definitely would like to stay longer next time!

    The location was great and the accommodations were as advertised (visually). Our unit was infested with 3 different varieties of spiders. We found at least 10 in the first 60 minutes of being in the room. It's obvious that there were no pest control measure taken. I expect bugs when I'm glamping, but for the price, the room should be clean.

Unfortunately, one issue during breakfast stood out and detracted from the experience. While guests were eating, a front desk employee repeatedly came into the breakfast area and turned the television volume up to an uncomfortably loud level. The breakfast attendant -- who was absolutely wonderful and clearly managing a full house -- would quietly lower the volume again, clearly trying to keep the atmosphere calm and enjoyable for guests. No one appeared to be watching the television; most of us were simply trying to enjoy breakfast and conversation. What was particularly puzzling was that the front desk employee continued returning to the breakfast area, even going back into the kitchen, which seemed inappropriate, and turning the volume back up each time. At one point, she raised her voice at the breakfast attendant, which I found unnecessary and unprofessional. I genuinely felt bad for the breakfast staff member, who handled the situation with patience and grace. In my many years of travel, I have never stayed at a hotel where the television in the breakfast area had the volume turned up. It is always muted and caption only, if it is on at all, and the front desk staff typically stay out of breakfast operations entirely. It's unfortunate, because aside from this situation, our stay was otherwise enjoyable. With better coordination and respect for staff roles, this would be a place I could recommend.

    Trying to make a change to my reservation was beyond frustrating! I tried to use the app and got…read moreerror messages. I then contacted the One Rewards guest services, and the first rep stated he was not able to help and that I needed to contact another department. After contacting that department, the rep told me that the reservation was in a 'view only' status and that he could not assist; I needed to contact the hotel directly. I called the hotel, and the phone rang over 20 times with no answer, at which time I received a recording that started to give instructions before the line was disconnected. I called back, and the phone again rang over 20 times with no answer, so I hung up. I called back, and after 7 or so rings, it was answered by a male. When I started to explain the situation, the line was disconnected. At this point, I called back to One Rewards, and after being transferred to a couple of different people, the representative I spoke with stated he would send an internal message to the property. PROPERTY 1. The parking lot lamp pole by the entrance is not working. 2. Planter pots under porte co·chère empty or have dying plants. 3. Concrete block of handicapped parking spot badly damaged. 4. The beverage vending machine on the 3rd floor is not working. 5. Ice machine on 3rd floor missing - even though signage indicates 'Ice Machine'. 6. Only washer and dryer are out of service; it has been this way for months, according to other reviews. 7. Extension cord ran to ice machine on 1st floor (unsightly and a possible safety hazard). 8. Door to elevator room propped open. 9. The elevator makes a loud noise and shudders when it reaches the 3rd floor. 10. Wall damaged / sticky residue by elevator call buttons on 1st floor. 11. The beverage machine on the 1st floor is basically empty with a few selections. 12. No staff members were in any type of uniform, and no staff members were wearing a nametag. 13. The 'pantry' items needed to be organized, replenished - there were only a few cold items. ROOM 319 1. Window exteriors are very dirty. 2. Holes in and marks on the wall near the bed - appears to be where artwork was hanging. 3. Holes in the wall above the artwork over the couch. 4. Artwork above the couch is in poor condition / broken. 5. Grout at the base of the toilet is discolored/missing. 6. Desk chair is broken; will not stay elevated. It sat so low that I had to put pillows in the chair. 7. DND sign missing. POSITIVES 1. The breakfast items appeared fresh and were tasty. The attendant kept herself busy refilling items, wiping the counter, etc. 2. The staff were friendly. 3. No issues with my room cleanliness (only maintenance). 4. The hotel did not have any unpleasant smells (only visited the 1st and 3rd floors).

Coffee was on point. Room service: 5 stars! We woke up Saturday hungry!! Hubs called and said the room service person was the most sweetest person. Helpful and we had the best breakfast!! The potatoes were fire. Eggs cooked to perfection and if you like oatmeal-it's so good. Overall I'd give this place 3.5. The weekend was rainy so we couldn't enjoy some of the hotel offerings.

The pool on the deck with amazing views on the lake was where we loved spending our time. The hot tub has the best views! This beautiful resort is somewhat perched on the hill side overlooking a lovely lake. Check-in was quick and easy. Got my unit key and drove to Bldg. 7. Didn't encounter any crickets like I did at my last WM resort LOL... thank goodness. My one bedroom unit was on the second floor... had to go through two flights of stairs. Luckily, I just brought up my suitcase + cooler and left the other stuff in the car. Unit was very very spacious and cozy... more than enough space for a single person. King size bed is always comfortable at WM, bathroom space was huge (however, toilet paper was a far reach from the toilet LOL... you'll see what I mean when you see the picture... can't stop laughing LOL), full kitchen at its best (love the condiments!), large sitting area with TV, and lovely balcony overlooking another building LOL. Last but not least, I had a washer and dryer inside the unit... I did 4 days of laundry... YEAH! My overall 2 nights stay was just wonderful. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Resort was well maintained. I also got a chance to do a WM owners update with Member Services... had a blast... thanks for the free gift! Don't know when I'll be back to TX, but if I do return, I will definitely stay here again. Happy WorldMark'ing!
