But I can imagine during the business week it is full as they stated on their website. I highly recommend you bring a check or money order if you don't use or have any checks prior to coming here. If you decide to have a money ensure it is for the exact amount. Check their website for documents to bring with whether it is for yourself or your child. I ensured, I had my previous expired passport, Social Security card, birth certifcate, and my Texas Drivers license. I chose the regular passport and ID card. They kept my previous passport as it was used for the verified documentation. So be expecting them keep whatever document for the processing if your application. They will mail your documents back along with your new passport. The staff here were all very friendly, informative, and resourceful with knowledge to make your experience here a delightful one. I highly recommend using this facility for your passport needs.

Finally on my 4th visit to Austin I explored more areas like Six Square, Austin's Black Cultural District. The museum has a circular front with glass and columns. It is open, airy inside and was pristine. Although small inside yet packed in history and culture. It is free admission and they accept donations. I found the Juneteenth information to the most informative. As an east coaster, with foundational knowledge of Juneteenth, I learned so much more through video montage, photographs with editorial providing context. It is inspiring how the African American community in Austin and the state of Texas has maintained and shared the importance of Juneteenth to everyone through educational celebrations, parades, food/culinary gatherings, and spiritual/religious services wrapped in love, family and community. Another highlight of this visit was the exhibition by Riley Holloway, "What I Carry". I found his artistic medium to be captivating showing elements of the AA experience through his family, church, summer fun, celebrations which to me was a bold statement of beauty, connection and community. Through a series of emails over the course of a week, he offered a couple of options at different price points. I should mention that I was trying to arrange our trip for peak season and was a bit late for booking travel at that time. Unfortunately, our trip was cancelled due to the pandemic. But Jim came through again, helping us to obtain a refund. Through all our interactions, Jim was helpful, informative and pleasant.
