Tenant turnover used to be the worst for me... like seriously stressful. Every time someone…read moremoved out I was bracing myself for months of vacancy, showings that went nowhere, applications that looked good but flopped, and then sometimes ending up with tenants that weren't even good. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? I hear about it before it's a bigger problem. I don't feel outta the loop like I did before. Honestly... I'm not stressing about who's living there or how long it'll sit empty. Things feel steady now. After years of chaos and headaches, this kinda stability is worth way more than I thought it would be. Thank you Chambers.!

Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!

Leslie was great, she truly has excellent customer service skills. Every time I asked her to check…read morewith her manager, she did so with patience and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, my issue is not with her but with the company itself. This company is not veteran- or disability-friendly. I was upfront about my situation and provided every document they requested: * A personal statement explaining why I had six late payments (during my transition out of the Navy, I wasn't receiving VA benefits, and rent was $2,473 in San Diego). * A letter from my case manager, who even offered to speak directly with them--which they declined. * Proof that I never owed money to any property management company. * A solid 688 credit score (above their 650 requirement). * Verified income at 3.5x the rent, which exceeded their criteria. Despite all of this, they denied me. I have always been a responsible tenant: never received complaints, always left apartments in good condition, and consistently received renewal offers. Yet, even with all the evidence, they offered no alternatives. Most property management companies in California will sometimes allow tenants to pay a larger deposit, but here that option isn't available because they already make it a requirement to pay a full month's rent as a deposit. That leaves only one option -- a co-signer -- which I do not have. It's very discouraging that a management company would refuse to work with a veteran who provided full documentation and met or exceeded their financial requirements. Their rigid policies make it unnecessarily hard for people who are trying to move forward and build stability. To add to the frustration, I was immediately approved for nicer, safer apartments in Fresno and Clovis -- further proof that this denial was not about my qualifications, but about their unwillingness to be flexible. The apartment in Madera is not even in a safe or desirable area, but I wanted to live close to family for health reasons. Sadly, they made that impossible. Bottom line: While Leslie did her job well, the company's management policies are rigid, unsupportive, and not veteran- or disability-friendly. They already require the maximum deposit but offer no flexibility beyond forcing tenants to find a co-signer. I do not recommend this company.

They put huge stickers on people's car windows if their car registration sticker wasnt up to date. They threaten a cease and desist for any small issues. They actively raise your rent the maximum allowed every year. Upon moving out management went out of their way to not only take the whole security deposit, but find ways to overcharge for cleaning and fixes. Ultimately making me pay almost $900 extra. They charged huge amounts for changing light bulbs, and hour of maintenance to throw a few dishes away from a drawer, etc. Then when I diputed, they withdrew those charges but charged me 500 for chips to the old shower.

As soon as we follow the rules we saw other folks that live here abide the rules and did their own thing. The worst part is that the land lord knew the rules were being broken and never did anything god forbid you do one little adjustments and your getting a notification that we aren't allowed to do something. The only plus about this place is that it's gated, the school bus, the school down the street, and grocery store isn't that far. The negative part pretty much everything else. You have landlord not following her own rules, a lot of the stuff in the house is either old or half ass fixed, probably gonna have to wash your own carpet if it's not badly damaged. Loud neighbors as well as disrespectful one who don't follow the rule to the contract they sign. You pay for what you want but it gonna get.

Tenants are starting to add their own lighting around the carports because Sordi properties and HOA fail to address the security concerns. Vigilant security does a quick drive through several times but doesn't actually thoroughly walk around besides scanning their check points. Transients are setting up right behind the hedge with tents, carts, etc. Landscapers are here early at 7:00am every Monday but I question for what. Plants around the property are dead or on the verge of dying, the hedge is uneven / patchy/ clearly neglected. The waste bag areas are disgusting but we are encouraged to use it? The parking lot needs to be restriped as it's faded and almost impossible to see the lines. Common areas have never been cleaned- at least I have never see it clean and never seen anyone come out and clean it. The algae is building up which is a HUGE safety hazard as it's slimy as slippery. I would be curious to know what the HOA fees go towards as there have been zero improvements, the property is neglected, and the vendors are subpar; or if HOA or Sordi properties ever checks on their locations.
