Every time I moved in to a new place it got worse and worse each place I lived in was never clean, mold growing in the bathrooms There were cockroaches in each building I lived in last building I lived in had cockroaches, bed bugs and mice which was a safety concern because I was pregnant and had my firstborn they refuse to spray properly they refuse to give proper notices, I have been told by one of the maintenance people that he would enter my suite without a 24 hours notice to quote" fix things even though nothing was being fixed, I had to go to the bored to get just a simple water leak finished because I paid for water which took a few months, While I was pregnant with my first, I nearly fell down the stairs while in labor due to them putting grips on the stairs with silicone instead of gorilla glue. I have a friend in a different building that is going through similar situations with Deborah And now is going to court with Clearwater. So please if you ever consider renting from Clearwater management just know that they're slumlords. They do not care about anything other than the money and you will not get your damage deposit back!!!!

Unfortunately, my issue is not with her but with the company itself. This company is not veteran- or disability-friendly. I was upfront about my situation and provided every document they requested: * A personal statement explaining why I had six late payments (during my transition out of the Navy, I wasn't receiving VA benefits, and rent was $2,473 in San Diego). * A letter from my case manager, who even offered to speak directly with them--which they declined. * Proof that I never owed money to any property management company. * A solid 688 credit score (above their 650 requirement). * Verified income at 3.5x the rent, which exceeded their criteria. Despite all of this, they denied me. I have always been a responsible tenant: never received complaints, always left apartments in good condition, and consistently received renewal offers. Yet, even with all the evidence, they offered no alternatives. Most property management companies in California will sometimes allow tenants to pay a larger deposit, but here that option isn't available because they already make it a requirement to pay a full month's rent as a deposit. That leaves only one option -- a co-signer -- which I do not have. It's very discouraging that a management company would refuse to work with a veteran who provided full documentation and met or exceeded their financial requirements. Their rigid policies make it unnecessarily hard for people who are trying to move forward and build stability. To add to the frustration, I was immediately approved for nicer, safer apartments in Fresno and Clovis -- further proof that this denial was not about my qualifications, but about their unwillingness to be flexible. The apartment in Madera is not even in a safe or desirable area, but I wanted to live close to family for health reasons. Sadly, they made that impossible. Bottom line: While Leslie did her job well, the company's management policies are rigid, unsupportive, and not veteran- or disability-friendly. They already require the maximum deposit but offer no flexibility beyond forcing tenants to find a co-signer. I do not recommend this company.

She has been the most incredible, hospitable, understanding, sweet, outgoing, helpful, and accommodating person I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She's gone above and beyond with answering all 300 of my crazy questions and communicating promptly, compassionately, and professionally. I had originally contacted them for a certain property I saw online and was interested in calling home. They contacted me swiftly and even told me about the other properties they available. I ultimately ended signing for a different one their houses than the one I had originally messaged them about and am so beyond thrilled! Venture Property Management's website/portal platform is also sooo easy and transparent, so it's really nice finally having a living situation where it's easy to see and pay bills. From applying, sending documents, paying the security deposit, and rent, VPM has been amazing every step of the way. JoAnn has made this entire move such a breeze, and I've really been worrying for nothing. I'm in love with my new rental, all thanks to her. She's a ray of sunshine and truly the best in the biz!

Every time someone…read moremoved out I was bracing myself for months of vacancy, showings that went nowhere, applications that looked good but flopped, and then sometimes ending up with tenants that weren't even good. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? I hear about it before it's a bigger problem. I don't feel outta the loop like I did before. Honestly... I'm not stressing about who's living there or how long it'll sit empty. Things feel steady now. After years of chaos and headaches, this kinda stability is worth way more than I thought it would be. Thank you Chambers.!

Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!

They are never in their office and almost never pick up their calling number. And if by chance you do get ahold of someone, they quickly rush you off the phone and tell you "Look at our website for all information" before I even get a chance to get a word in and ask questions the website doesn't have the answers to. AND at the very top of all this BS, they want you to FAX, Email, or just leave sensitive personal information like social security number and bank statements at their door when they aren't there. Not to mention they charge $25 bucks per application. They almost made $100 bucks off me today, until I figured out this is just some kind of sick tactic scam they have going on. The house I was trying to rent out from them has been on the market for the past six months and only just recently had a open house. I can't imagine how they would be if I were to rent the house from them. Glad I chose to walk instead. Everyone else should do the same and steer clear of this dump. It doesn't even match its building name to its application name. That was the first red flag right there. Also one last thing to point out, the host of the open house obviously made up a charge of pet rent when I asked if they accepted any. She first said "no" then made up a charge of $500 for only small pets.

Tenants are starting to add their own lighting around the carports because Sordi properties and HOA fail to address the security concerns. Vigilant security does a quick drive through several times but doesn't actually thoroughly walk around besides scanning their check points. Transients are setting up right behind the hedge with tents, carts, etc. Landscapers are here early at 7:00am every Monday but I question for what. Plants around the property are dead or on the verge of dying, the hedge is uneven / patchy/ clearly neglected. The waste bag areas are disgusting but we are encouraged to use it? The parking lot needs to be restriped as it's faded and almost impossible to see the lines. Common areas have never been cleaned- at least I have never see it clean and never seen anyone come out and clean it. The algae is building up which is a HUGE safety hazard as it's slimy as slippery. I would be curious to know what the HOA fees go towards as there have been zero improvements, the property is neglected, and the vendors are subpar; or if HOA or Sordi properties ever checks on their locations.
