Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!

I live in the bay but own a property in Fresno. My experience with my previous property manager…read morewas a nightmare. Instead of managing and stabilizing my building, I lost money every month and my stress level was out of control. My priors manager's communication was terrible and to make things worse they were also unapologetic and unprofessional. I think the latter may have actually pissed me off more. After my frustrating experience, I spent a lot of time researching for a better property manager. After interviewing Kendra, I decided to switch to Chambers, and the difference has been unimaginable. Kendra and her team have been nothing short of amazing. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely make me feel valued as a client. Kendra's communication is excellent, she's quick to respond and always keeps me informed. The level of service she provides has given me peace of mind, something I desperately needed. I also appreciate having Chambers PM, specifically Kendra, to serve as a resource. My other properties are in Oakland and Walnut Creek, which is currently out of their service area, so I self-manage those rentals. And any time I have question about landlording or just need a second set of eyes on a tenant application, Kendra is willing to offer her expert advice, even though those properties aren't being managed by Chambers (yet! when/if they come to the Bay, those properties will be managed by Chambers.) My tenants are also much happier now. Kendra doesn't waste any time finding reliable tenants to fill vacancies whenever I may have one and her attention to detail has made property ownership stress-free. I feel very comfortable reaching out to her whenever any issues arise because I know she'll handle them promptly and effectively. The Chambers' team are a wonderful group who are truly engaged with their clients. Kendra's informative, has great communication skills, and goes above and beyond for her customers. She actually cares about her tenants and always answers the phone or calls back right away. If I could give more stars, I would! I highly recommend Kendra and her team to any homeowner looking for a reliable and trustworthy property manager. They have exceeded all my expectations and made a world of difference in managing my property.

I brang it up because I was told by maintenance that might gut our walls. We were getting sick because they didn't clean the vents that happened because of the fire. We couldn't use our swamp cooler because the vents were black from the smoke damage. It was rat & mice invested all around & in the apartment conplex. I heard the person that was trying to work outside the window say the next door neighbors apartment that was burned was very rat invested. Don't recommend renting from them. We got charged extra for a lot. Took the whole deposit. We made work orders & had insurance that couldve helped. We moved out and returned the keys before the prorate date & they still charged us extra after the deposit. I tried to clean a lot of the smoke residue on the floors & walls but it was making it worse. I put a work order for that as-well. They dont care about their renters. & We had to pay for our own mailbox key when we first moved in & asked us to return it. We didnt get reimbursed for that either. I wouldn't recommend anyone renting from here unless u absolutely have too.

First, it should be be noted that it is very rare to find a positive review for a property…read moremanagement company. If one finds it important enough to say something, it's usually to warn people. That being said, here is my warning. My husband and I rented a small condo in central Fresno from 2011-2012. The place was nothing to write home about and our rent was super low, so we understood that the paint job was shoddy and the "new" laminate flooring wasn't top notch. We had issues with our ice maker after first moving in, which was remedied by replacing the "pride of the 80's" refrigerator with a new model. Woohoo! ... except the new fridge didn't have an ice maker. We dealt with it. #firstworldproblems Here's the problem: The maintenance worker who installed the new refrigerator did not close off the tube that carried water from the plumbing to the old ice maker. Unbeknownst to us, it slowly leaked water for several days UNDER the laminate flooring. The maintenance side of this company was very good about sending someone out quickly to take care of this leak. (I acted very fast because I did not want to be held responsible for the damage to the floor.) I give them 2 stars, however, for what occurred during our checkout process. The tile shower in the master bedroom had been damaged several years prior to our stay in this condo. Long story short, water was leaking into the wall behind the shower. When we checked out, we pointed the shower out to the company representative and said that, in the process of moving, we noticed discoloration on the wall behind the couch. We had a few small things that were our fault like a broken drawer in the bathroom or a stain on the floor, but we tried to take care of things during our stay. This is why we were SHOCKED to receive a bill for nearly $3,000 worth of services and repairs. They attempted to charge us for replacing the shower and damage to the wall as well as several other absurd charges (over $150 to clean a 1,000 sq ft space with no carpet? I cleaned it before I left! It's not like I slaughtered animals in the living room and left the mess.) I put my English teacher skills to work and crafted a letter claiming that we would only pay for the portion of each charge that was truly our fault and appropriately priced. It felt a little like they expected us to just write a check and ask no questions. Bear in mind that this was two years ago and things may have improved. My warning to you: Be THOROUGH when you check in, be proactive when it comes to maintenance issues, and stand your ground when it's time to check out.

Cypress will set you up for failure and will abandon you when they've done wrong…read more I was assigned Allison as my licensed DRE property manager. After finding a prospective tenant for renting my home, she and Cypress property management took it upon themselves to allow that prospective tenant to move in their things before anything was signed on paper for a rental agreement. A total of 13 packages and a whole new fridge was placed on my premises with no communication of this. About a week later, even more big boxes showed up at my property. Allison asked for my door passcode for staff to allow measurements for a fridge. Never did they tell us that a new fridge would be in the home. This is obviously a big liability concern. When speaking to Allison about this, she implied she knew about the big packages and new fridge being in my home, telling me the prospective tenants "jumped the gun." The way they conduct themselves put me in a potentially nasty situation of giving that prospective tenant unintentional tenants' rights. The intent of using Cypress Property Management services was to simplify steps to renting my home. They gave me more problems. For those thinking about partnering with Cypress Property Management, look elsewhere until they take accountability and do things proper.

Seniors move into these apts. wait a few months and then start moving in their grandsons. I had to spend money moving to another apt. because the grandson of one was dealing in the parking lot. Also, the police who patrol the Elderberry Apts. found him passed out in front of my apt. Not only will the management not do anything about it, the new manager Dalia from what I understand has 15 people in her apt. that is with her and her husband. Our renters are happy because NPM ensures properties are managed with diligence and responsiveness. They are available for all my questions and I never have a problem getting ahold of the company owners. I have never had a PM company owner respond to me as quickly as they do! They work hard to find quality vendors, and I really appreciate the online owner's portal where I can see all my invoices for any work performed. I find that when applicants or tenants have any complaints, it's because Neighborhood Property Management is being thorough and following the rental contract, which doesn't always go in favor of the renter. They work to protect the property owner and still make sure the tenants needs are well cared for. As a rental owner, this has been the most profitable and stable my properties have ever been. Most recently had a tenants door replaced within days when in today's times these repairs can be timely!
