I had an aqua bathroom -- tub, sinks, and toilet. I replaced everything. However, not wanting to try to replace the tub, I was looking for a company to refinish my aqua bathtub in white. I contacted three companies. Miracle Method was the only company that gave me a professional quote. After considering the three companies, it was obvious Miracle Method was the company to choose. They did a fabulous job on my bathtub. You would never know it was once aqua blue. I put in a new toilet, new sinks, new quartz countertop and new faucets. Miracle Method resurfaced the 22year old bathtub in my guest bathroom. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the process in general, but when Chris was done it looked brand new. Everyone at MM is very friendly, courteous, prompt and professional. Dereck, the sales consultant was straight up and very informative, no hard sell and gave me all the best options to stay within my budget. Over 60% of the job is prep work, and Chris essentially "sealed off" the area of my house that he had to work in, installed an exhaust system, and when he was completely done, I could not find a speck of dust (trust me I looked, because I am very anal retentive :). For what it cost to replace an existing bathtub or shower cabin, MM's refinishing is the way to go, very reasonable pricing and a great product. I would give less than one star if I could. The product did not work for my problem. My tub got stained from a chemical reaction to essential oils and Epsom salts. The stains came back, the company re finished a second time and the stains came back. The company refuses to stand by their work, insists that what has happened cannot happen and has falsely accused me of continuing to use essential oils in the tub. I have not used the tub in over a year. So while it might work for some, it didn't work for me. Since the company will not stand by their work or product, I do not recommend Miracle Method. read more

It's been about 8 months since my tub/shower surround was refinished. It took 4 trips out to fix issues after the first time wasn't done correctly. I still wish I would have just spent the extra money and replaced the surround instead of the refinishing that is starting to peel in a few areas. I am not comfident the finish will last the 5 years since it hasn't even been a year yet. If you are looking for a quick fix to sell or if you have a guest bath you barely use this is probably a good option. The technician showed up an hour after our designated 2 hour window. The Technician was not friendly and seemed hurried. The workmanship was very poor as areas were not bonded properly. We called to have them return and fix the work and they sent the same technician. After he was 'done' we checked his work and there were still areas that were not finished correctly. We babysat him for another 30 minutes showing areas that needed to be fixed. We tried calling and complaining to the Management, but the receptionists wouldn't forward our calls. They were quick to ask for a review which we gladly sent to Miracle Methods website explaining our displeasure with the poor service and even worse workmanship, but never received a response or follow up. Our kids bathtub had a botched repair job by the previous owner that we discovered last November. We had a crack in our nearly new Jacuzzi fiberglass tub and Jacuzzi agreed to cover it under warranty if the inspection proved to be a defect. They sent Miracle Method. I was given 9-11 window for the inspection. He showed at 9am on the dot. Nice guy. Quick inspection. Said they'd get back to me after coordinating with Jacuzzi. I heard right back from them and they schedule the work LESS THAN AN HOUR later. Person showed right up as stated and fixed the crack perfectly. You'd never even know it was there. I didn't even have to sign anything. They're dealing with Jacuzzi directly. I was pretty upset with the crack but I was totally thrilled with Miracle Method. Thank you! I have a floating home, which means that to get here you have to park up in the lot, go down a big ramp, and across about 50 yards of dock to get to my house, and the tub is upstairs after that. It is a difficult place to get construction, and I could not see getting a new tub up to my second floor bathroom after all that. So Miracle came in, spent 2 days sanding and cleaning and painting and finishing. It looks beautiful. It is not new, but it looks new, and that is all I need. Do not use miracle method in your Kitchen cabinets. I used them for my counters and cabinets a year ago. The paint started to crack and peel right away. The people from the company went home, brought paint and said that it was my fault. I am very careful and I follow all the original instructions. Now the paint from the cabinets is making bubbles. The kitchen is to cook and to be used. I do not cook every day and only do simple meals. Definitely not recommended for someone that cook frequently and has a large family. Do NOT spend your money with Miracle Method. You will regret it! read more

This was a repair of work that this company had previously completed. BEWARE!... this is not a lifetime solution as the "paint" chips, bubbles, etc. and when it does, they'll insinuate that it's your fault. I pointed out to Robert, the gentleman that completed the estimate, the areas that needed to be repaired. It's REALLY obvious since the tub/tile used to be blue and is now an almond color. Anyway....a generic estimate was written to repair two tubs at $225 each. When I asked the repair person about the other 3 small chips (2 on the tile and 1 on the soap dish), he said he couldn't repair them as it wasn't specifically on the estimate...even though I had pointed them out to the estimator and they're part of the work that the company had originally completed. The repair person asked that I call the office but, unfortunately, they were already closed for the day. I was told that the repairs would take 1 hour for each bathroom and it ended up taking 5 hours!...hence the office being closed. Long story short, I didn't notice until after the repair person was pulling out of our driveway that an area he fixed had so much paint applied to it that it was dripping down the side of the tub. When I spoke to the office today, the agreed to come out and fix the part that's all drippy but wants to charge another $125.00 to fix the 3 other chips that are smaller than a pea. Communication with the main office was exemplary. If we had questions, they were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. I did notice a very small defect on the tub edge the day after it was finished. After sending an e-mail, it was handled promptly and the technician came out to fix it. I called them to do some repair/refinishing work while in the midst of a bathroom remodel and they were quick to come and give an estimate, but failed to show up and do the work when scheduled this week. We had a chip in our undermount kitchen sink. So our options were to pull up the countertops and put in a new sink, or repair the existing one. We were referred to Miracle Method by a contractor friend. They masked off the entire corner of the kitchen, floor to ceiling, like a quarantine room. It took a few hours the first day for prep and surfacing. And another couple hours the next morning to polish and cut in the surface cure. It looks amazing - brand new. I was told, "I'm not their real customer," because the landlord of the house I live in is the 'real customer,' and that they are short staffed so appointments are taking longer today. I would have appreciated that information this morning so I didn't sit around all afternoon. Also, how am I not a real customer, if I'm coordinating the appointments and interacting with their staff? The two day process was explained upfront and went very well. We had our tub and shower surround refinished by Miracle Method of Portland in June 2013. They provided us with a 5 year warranty. There were some blemishes in the finish at the time of work completion, and we were told that "that's how these jobs turn out, but not to worry because there's a 5 year warranty." It's now almost 5 years later and sure enough the finish is peeling. Keep in mind, this is not our main tub/shower and it does not get used every day. It's used twice a week. I called to use our warranty and sent pictures. When she called back, the receptionist, Rayn, said she spoke with management and they determined that the peeling is not 100% a warranty issue, that it looks like it's been caused by water being in contact with the surface! I told her that I don't use abrasive cleaners to clean the surface, we don't have any leaks or drips, the tub is only used twice a week, and there are no areas of standing water. We don't leave soap or shampoo containers sitting on the surface, and none have been dropped. She offered for me to speak with management, and I said that yes, I would love to speak with management, as this is 100% a warranty issue. Instead she came back on the line and reiterated that this is not 100% a warranty issue, but that I could pay them $100 to have it fixed. Management would not speak with me. Avoid this company like the plague. read more
