Unprofessional, unreliable. Huge waste of my time and my tenant's time. The technician did not show up TWICE (2 separate days), after my tenants having to change their plans to stay home and meet the technician. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Contacted for an estimate, and had an appointment setup for an estimate. Then the day of the estimate, a guy called me and asked me to send him pictures instead of them coming out for an in-person estimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It would have been nice to have had that option in the beginning, rather than again having to ask the tenant to be home for the appointment time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The guy that I talked to was very unprofessional. I had our tub and shower resurfaced. They did great work on the tub. The shower went in a different direction. First Time: the shower chipped and peeled - Solution - send a tech out to "spot repair". Also told me that if I wanted it buffed out that I would have to pay extra. Second Time: Shower chipped and peeled again - Solution - Send out a tech to "spot repair". I was told,"It doesn't need to be stripped and re-done from scratch. That's too expensive." Third Time: Shower chipped, peeled and grout was missing. Tech from second time showed up and complained how he did not make any money from the second visit and up and quit on the spot while in my house. A second tech was dispatched, "spot repair" was done. This tech told me that if I wanted it buffed out smooth, that I needed to go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy wet/dry 2,000 grit sandpaper and do it myself. Fourth Time: Shower chipped and peeled, grout missing. Tech was dispatched. This time the shower was sanded down and started from beginning. AFTER trying to convince me that I should use a light shade of Grey (instead of White) to ensure it would be covered up. I was afforded the opportunity to inspect it before the tech departed. I stated,"It is not dry so I am unable to fully inspect it." Since it has now dried and I have inspected it, I have found 6-7 places that STILL need touching up. I am currently STILL waiting for them to call me back to address my concerns AND remove their prep work and materials. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though I called the manager, Nelson, he has NEVER been back to my house, as he said he would, to monitor the lack of workmanship. Even though I specifically asked him to come out and he told me he would bo out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Management is severely lacking in management skills. Techs are grossly under trained and inept at their jobs and knowledge of what services come with the sale. DO NOT USE!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This situation has been going on for nearly 8 months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not to mention the inconvenience of not being able to use my shower for 4-5 each time EXCEPT this last time..... going on for over a month now because they are unable to maintain any level of professionalism or quality of work. The countertops were a 30-year old formica product and the bathtub was showing some small cracks as well as rust spots. Trying to get a property ready for a quick sale. Didn't want the time and expense associated with a full-on remodel. Miracle Method's model is not for the faint hearted. We took a chance on them refinishing an old tub in Virginia due to the online reviews and the warranty offer. We thought it was a good alternative to remodeling a bathroom for a new tub. The technician worked delingently refinishing the tub, however, the surface of the tub remained very rough even though it looked clean and white. ONE MONTH after the refinishing peeling started at the bottom of the tub. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After repeated attempts to contact the company so the issue could be assessed and fixed, I contacted the corporate offices in Colorado.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There I was told that the branch in Manassas, VA went out of business and the warranty was with the branch. So .... too bad. There could be no resolution through Miracle Method (and no baths!!!!). Evidently, the " Miracle" in Miracle Method is that the Colorado company miraculously gets "Money for Nothin". Don't refinish you tub, buy a new one and do the necessary remodeling. Using the unreliable Miracle Method is not a risk worth taking. read more

I wanted to update my kitchen tile back splash (was 20 year old black diamond pattern) but I did not want the expense, mess and inconvenience of a tear out and new install. I saw an ad for MM in Manassas and went to their showroom there. Great selection of finishes and helpful informative staff. While there, I realized I needed a shower pan redone and decided to update a bath vanity. Doing this refinishing is economical and keeps a lot of waste from landfills. I had all three jobs done in just two days. These folks are experienced pros that know their process and tented and covered all the rooms they worked in to protect floors, cabinets, walls and surrounding areas. There is a fair amount of dust and chemical smells in the process, but they bring elaborate vent tunnels and funnel to the outside as best as possible. (Still, much better than dealing with a construction procedure.) I am very happy with the results in all three areas and now want to have them return and do a fourth. Summary: excellent product, great value, well trained skilled techs that are considerate and helpful, convenient and not as time consuming as traditional remodeling, huge selection, a wonderful experience where everything looks new, because it is. read more

After Miracle Method Fairfax completed my tub and tile refinish, many of the grout lines were not filled. I spoke to Brent about the poor appearance and he told me it is a common problem when the grout is imperfect. He said they cannot tell it will be an issue until they spray it. The solution is for the customer to purchase a special caulk and fill in the cracks as best they can. I also have to repaint because their masking tape pulled paint off the wall. Lastly, I have to reinstall the faucet because they left a large gap that would allow water to flow into my wall. I paid $1900, but my results do not match the pictures on their website. read more

Good end result with the tub but damage left in the surrounding area. Louis serviced our tub and was very difficult to speak with. Every time we asked him a question, he would say "I need to ask my boss". It seems as though he didn't have enough training or confidence to speak about the service and what was happening. We just finished remodeling most of the bathroom 3 days before Louis came, and had brand new vanities installed during the process. After Louis' work in our tub, I found 2 big chunks missing from our wooden vanity and scratches on the front. We haven't even used the bathroom yet and it already looks several years old with the damage he caused on the vanity. Don't recommend based on the lack of care during service as well as the high pricing (new costs were added on onsite that weren't mentioned at all during the previous calls). read more

These are pictures of the refinishing by Miracle Method to my fiberglass tub. When new it was rough edged and did not look professional. The workman explained this was all he could do. It has been cracked and peeling with rust stains through it for several months. I emailed to have it repaired under the 5 year warranty. Apparently the bottom of a tub is considered a 'spot' repair and is not covered under the 5 year warranty, only 1 year. read more

We scheduled Miracle Method to do a relatively big job:: refinish 3 bathtubs, 1 shower basin and, replace a shower door. Brent was very friendly when I first contacted him. The bathtub refinishing went well and we were happy with the results. I wish I could say the same thing about the shower door. Brent recommended I go with Cardinal, a well known large supplier of shower enclosures. I went with his recommendation and paid extra for the upgrade. Although we were told that it would take between 10- 14 days to get the door, it took almost 3 weeks. Finally the day came for them to install the door only to find out that the supplier sent incorrect parts. I was clearly unhappy about the whole situation especially when Brent said that it would take another 5 days for the supplier to put the new parts on a truck to ship it over. Brent made no attempt to take any responsibility or apologize even though I am the customer and this is his supplier. We waited another full week for them to come install the door. They spent more than 8 hours trying to install it. I went to inspect it after they said t was done, and I discovered that the door was not installed properly, one of the seals was loose and the silicone caulking was extremely sloppy and smeared all over the glass. It took them another one hour and a half to try to remedy the situation only for me to find out that the way the silicone was applied was a complete mess. Brent's wife, who was there assisting and seems to be a very nice person, didn't teally seem to fully understand why I was unhappy. She finally said that they would come back again and remove the caulking and re-apply it. Another huge inconvenience especially because we have not been able to use that shower for over 3 weeks. As a side note, they left a mess on the bathroom countertops, instead of cleaning after themselves. I don't even understand how the countertop became so dirty considering they were only working in the shower area. Bottom line, this outfit may be good at refinishing bathtubs, and seem to be very nice people at first, but I would definitely not recommend them for shower doors; and customer service seems to degrade quickly when things go wrong. By the way, we have yet to receive an apology, let alone any kind of compensation for all the trouble. read more
